We found it quickly, but a favourite from us for something different and creative. Our first full day in Orange, and a chance to do some serious caching. We had quite a number of pre-solved caches on our agenda as well as others in the area. Our journey took us through a range of different sections of the town; residential, business, retail and some great parks and wetlands areas. We encountered some good hides which we awarded favorites as well as some challenges and straightforward finds. The weather was perfect but as usual got cold all of a sudden later in the day.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache drobbonz.**SKI Pair****
Nice hide. Nice walkway. Taking Chuckie for a walk with kiwisteve2 and no1gardengirl. Gets a fav.Tftc
Lovely day for a walk with meals 5. Good quick find to capture souvenir for 2023. Interested in your geocaching name - Im from Timaru.
I've been down this path many times before but this is the first time I've stopped for caches. Great container - very clever hide!
Imaginative hide. Well worth a Fab point. One to go near the clubhouse..woops..the Mansion but as we are dinning there tonight I hope to have some time to find it then TFTC drobbonz
Found by Mary and David at 16:20. After a DNF at the Shed previously, and at the Entrance earlier, we were not too optimistic. A lovely afternoon of sunshine - just right for caching. Nice to have a quick find this time. Our thanks to drobbonz.

I pretty much run past this cache at least once or twice a week, so figured it was time to sign the log. No running today, but took a stroll over to GZ where the nicely hidden cache was soon discovered.

Travelling from TAS. Here for three nights, mostly to chase solved caches. What better thing to do on a bleak July day with a max. 5 degrees ? Out again this afternoon, and headed out under the shelter of the pine trees as it was starting to drizzle again.
The wollemis look okay, and its not the winter which will harm them ……… more so the hot and dry summers perhaps. We have 50 of these at The Tasmanian Arboretum Inc. (google it mate !)
Loved the clever hide. Always take pics of clever ones to add to my “file” of “Clever Hides” So take a favourite from us and TFTC

A nice quick find. Had to grab it in between muggles. A few about even though the weather is bitterly cold.

Great disguise and kids loved looking for the elusive Wollemi pine. Let’s hope they grow big and strong!
Loved seeing the pines and we even got to pat dogs, spit mushroom volcanoes and admire leaves. Thank you!

I like this theme, I remember the excitement around the Wollemi pine grove's discovery some 25 years ago. My father was given a seedling to plant in one of our paddocks, sadly it only lasted a year or so. I spotted a likely cache metres away here and was pleased to be right. It was only when I retrieved it that I realised I'd seen a similar one closer to home last year, perhaps that was in the back of my mind. A nice, bold hide that many a muggle will pass straight by.

On a trip to Dubbo for a long weekend away from Canberra. It's been a while since I've managed a geo-trip so it's good to be on the road again. It's also very hot, days on the mid 30's are hard going. First stop is Cowra, then Canowindra, Molong and Wellington. I returned via Orange and Crookwell for a bit of variety.
Another quick find.
Thanks drobbonz

TFTC,
Here for a few days Golf and we had some time to do some Geocaching before our game today.
Now that is special, added a favourite and visited trackables.

A big day of caching between Orange and Wellington and back. Great weather, able to squeeze in a parkrun as well and caches were all found straight forward.

Nice one. I looked at it twice but dismissed it each time. That is clever & smart. TFTC
Really enjoyed our morning walk along the pathway and surrounds.
Found a few caches as we went and this was one of them.
Thanks heaps for the cache - it added more fun to our walk.

Parked in Forbes Road, and started our walk around the Duntryleague Golf Course. This one was quickly found. We actually have a Wollemi Pine at home, even though it is not thriving very well.
Super cool - and a nice fast find.
A crisp morning drive out to orange for an afternoon event soon turned into a hot day. On the hunt with Minniek, Fitzy_1965, mynamesjeff and deathkiller.

With an event on offer up in Orange today we used that as an excuse for a day trip caching along the way. Next stop for the day. We let one of the geo-kids make this find to make his day. Signed the log, replaced the cache, and headed off to the next one.
Thanks drobbonz !!

Nibletricecakes mentioned that she was thinking about heading to Orange for an event today. So with no other plans, fitzy_1965 and I decided to join her. We got two of my geo-kids, death_killer & my_name_jeff_1, up rather early to meet nibletricecakes in Yass.
We all piled into one car and headed off for the day. All out for a stroll down the path.....I knew exactly what we were looking at as soon as we got to GZ....sneaky.

Out ‘n about with m4yb getting a few caches.
On my adventure returning to the Midwest district after a 50 year absence. Excellent idea for a hide well done. Great to see them still growing.
Thanks for the hide and drobbonz

In Orange with megawat60 for his 50th school reunion and enjoying this picturesque town. NEF. Thanks for bringing us to this spot, I was given a cloned Wollemi years ago but sadly it did not handle the Perth climate.
Sorry to be so late logging this cache. It was only when planning a return visit to Orange that I realised I'd not logged this group of caches.
