Sadly, I have to archive this one as it was a bolt in a fence and recently, the whole fence has been removed.
After success at the mansion, we headed back to find this one. No luck though. Our indicated GZ was in the trees between the road and the course but, with the hint in mind, nothing there stood out. Searched all around there anyway, but eventually had to admit defeat. Our thanks anyway to drobbonz.
Bathurst trip October 2022. Day 2. I heard there was to be a Community Celebration Event in Bathurst on Tuesday, so I planned on a two day camping caching trip to join in. Rain threatened both days but only fell a few times, except overnight when it seemed to rain all night. The trip was Canberra, Cowra, Bathurst, Millthorpe, Orange, Bathurst and home again via Cowra. I managed lots of caches and enjoyed the trip away.
The next group of caches was around the Duntry golf course and I found all but one of those I attempted. I like the way this one fits in so well. I was a bit lucky to see part of this so I realised what it was.
Thanks for the cache drobbonz

An unexpected public holiday was the reason for a long weekend in the area of Orange.
Today we decided to explore the wider area of Orange, and of course I had to pick up a few caches along the way.
And that makes three. Clever hides around the golf course!

Travelling from TAS. Here for three nights, mostly to chase solved caches. What better thing to do on a bleak July day with a max. 5 degrees ? Out again this afternoon, and continued down the lane to find another cleverly placed hide, with a completely dry log with plenty of space to sign. Great job on this one (favourited), and thanks for all these caches drobbonz.

School holidays are over and time to do some caching!
Heading Mudgee/Dubbo/Orange areas looking to find some.
Thanks to the owners for the hides we find on our trip.
A straight forward hide.

Staying at Orange for 2 nights camped at the showgrounds.
Our 1st day was just caching in the town region. This is always a good way to visit your area.
This looks a very nice golf course to be able to play on.
Thankyou drobbonz for placing this cache.

Yes this was a good one. I have done some similar ones in Canberra and saw the combination of favourite points and clue and zeroed right in on this fella. It was my fourth cache of the day and definitely a clever one. Didn’t intend to go on and do any more caches in the cold but I think I’ll look for the other one nearby TFTC

A pun in a previous log helped with this one. I had spent too much time on the vertical rather than the horizontal. Tftc
I railed at this before finding it but didn't need tweezers; just gave it a shake.
With a long drive ahead of me today I have a plan to get the day off to a good start - a nice walk, eight caches and a good hotel breakfast. So it was up at dawn for a quick walk down the driveway. No-one about just yet though knowing several golfers I'm sure that will soon change. I picked the wrong side here but the moment I turned around the likely hiding place was obvious. Interesting variant of this camo/container.

On a trip to Dubbo for a long weekend away from Canberra. It's been a while since I've managed a geo-trip so it's good to be on the road again. It's also very hot, days on the mid 30's are hard going. First stop is Cowra, then Canowindra, Molong and Wellington. I returned via Orange and Crookwell for a bit of variety.
Another intersting container.
Thanks drobbonz

Another cool hide that we found quickly. Trying not to bring attention to us from the golfers. TFTC and the lovely walk. Another FP.
Tftc drobbonz, made the find here, so many muggles about here today having to pass on a few
Stopped in Orange to stretch our legs on our way to Dubbo and had just enough time to grab this one. We haven't seen one of these hides before. No tweezers but the log came out with a little shaking.

Staying at Duntryleague for a few days, found on our way down town, before playing golf. Quick find, stamped log and replaced. Thanks to drobbonz
TFTC,
Here for a few days Golf and we had some time to do some Geocaching before our game today.
Good hide, added favourite and visited trackables.

Found it on a quick stop after our flat tire. Now on our way to Wellington Caves. What a beautiful grass here. Perfect for picknick or tent pitching haha. I am sure the golfers wouldn’t appreciate that.
We parked opposite the Toyota dealership and walked the loop to get these caches. It took just over an hour and we found them all.

Good one, thanks drobbonz.

A big day of caching between Orange and Wellington and back. Great weather, able to squeeze in a parkrun as well and caches were all found straight forward.

Our 5 year old son was booked in for an operation at Bloomfield Health Campus (amazing staff and such great hospitality) and we were to spend a few days in Orange. We drove down from Dubbo and spent the day waiting and then finally he was in and out of the operating theatre and off to the kids ward. With a few days recovery before we could get home and not bringing the golf clubs (play more of this than geocaching these days) for the course next door i used a bit of time here and there to get a few caches while in town. Also visited a few trackables ive currently got with me.
#314 Here for the ANFD 2019 at Borenore and knocked over a couple of caches for an afternoon walk. Always enjoy these innovative containers/hides in places of interest. TFTC
Hatzofff and I are in Bathurst for a few weeks house sitting, and of course have time for lots of caching.
A quick trip to the Orangeairport was necessary this morning, so an unplanned day in Orange.
Clever. Worthy of imitation back up home.

Out with RoddyC today taking our host to Orange for a flight to Sydney. Thought we had better cache today while here.
Sneaky find. Well done.

Fell for the red herring but found it quickly before the golfers came over the hill
Found with Happy Jackie on a day on the golf course. Thanks I knew exactly what to look for but was blind for quite a while.
Near the entrance we sat down on a wooden structure to find this cache. We had to dodge the golfers nearby before they moved on in their buggies.
We went on a whim so did not read the part about tweezers and pen! Took a photo as verification. Also, looks like the tweezers are stuck inside? Maybe more tweezers needed to retrieve them!
Spoiler!!

I had a quick day trip to Orange for dinner with my daughter & I picked this one up while waiting for her to finish school. Cool hide TFTC!
Gotcha
A crisp morning drive out to orange for an afternoon event soon turned into a hot day. On the hunt with Minniek, Fitzy_1965, mynamesjeff and deathkiller.

With an event on offer up in Orange today we used that as an excuse for a day trip caching along the way. Next stop for the day. Managed to park right at GZ. I suspected what the hide would be and after one or two looks the cache was revealed. Signed the log, replaced the cache, and headed off to the next one.
Thanks drobbonz !!

Nibletricecakes mentioned that she was thinking about heading to Orange for an event today. So with no other plans, fitzy_1965 and I decided to join her. We got two of my geo-kids, death_killer & my_name_jeff_1, up rather early to meet nibletricecakes in Yass.
We all piled into one car and headed off for the day. Another quickish find for fitzy here.

Out ‘n about with m4yb getting a few caches.
On my adventure returning to the Midwest district after a 50 year absence. First full day in town so we decided to check out the Club, seeing as our reunion event is here tomorrow night. We thought a good excuse!
Nice clever hide here. Worth a fav from me.
Thanks for the hide and drobbonz

In Orange with megawat60 for his 50th school reunion! And scouting out where we will have dinner tomorrow night. I made the find of this clever cache, thanks and a fave point for the cammo and an idea for a cache back home!
Decided to do the Duntryleague caches today - only to get home and find 2 more published. Found the cache and possible implement - not sure how it worked - maybe cache wasn't quite in the right spot. TFTC
Sorry to be so late logging this cache. It was only when planning a return visit to Orange that I realised I'd not logged this group of caches.
Went straight to the right spot and after a bit of a poke and pull, we had the cache in hand. TFTC drobbonz
