A quick easy find on our way from Te Anau to Manapouri. The cache remains fine and dry. TFTC
A drive along the back road to pick up the observation point caches. Quick park and grabs as the weather closes in. tftc
Doing this backwards as already been. Other way was tarmac not gravel.
No log book - made a new one from a page of my note book.

A quick and easy find. Cheers
Easter holidays, and a road trip to Milford Sound. Time to start the trek home, via the West Coast. Off to Wanaka today, and again the weather is superb.
Thanks to all CO's for placing and maintaining their caches. Cheers

For my personal challenge of working towards getting my calendar on GC.COM to be at least the same shade of green or darker I need to sign off at least 12 caches today. I won't grumble if I find one or two more[^]. Today I decided to go a drive to the south down Manapouri way from Te Anau today.
Down another dusty gravel road.
Cheers for the cache.

Making our way to Te Anau, we saw this little trail and decided on a slight detour. All caches easily found and in good condition.

Doing this wee series as part of our wee trip to Manapouri. Seems we are logging coloured pencil caches, found a blue pencil here. Through the fence, the deer were watching every move.

After finishing the Kepler Track yesterday, I found this cache on a drive from Te Anau to Lake Manapouri. TFTC! (Apologies for my log being over 4 months late!)
On a 10 Day holiday of the South Island, we are visiting from Australia. Quick find Sl thanks for the cache.
Searchwisely & I took the lead for this series with Granville & Tuitigger close behind. Quick easy find. TFTC
Found with Tuitigger and searchwisely Mrs Hazzer A quick find thanks. Enjoying the day exploring the te Anau basin.
Can't believe Mrs H hasn't cached in this area. She led the way, we followed for a smile.
On a quick holiday in Te Anau, haven't been this way for many years. Thanks for the caches and I look forward to coming back again soon. Apologies for the generic logging.
We are making our way to Te Anau today. Picking up plenty of caches, as we go, trying to log them all, thanks to all the placers

TFTC - quick find today - have been up this way before but good to have another to come this way - but wet out today for any good views unfortunately
**On safari - tracking down hidden creature trophy heads to hang in the hunting lodge gallery.**
Not had reason to drive up this gravel rd before. Although I've been to the Observation point from the other end, 10km away; they are finally sealing the road up to there. Hard stony ground to deal with in this countryside, although I think telephone wires are buried?? around here; nevertheless I'm happy to see the power we generate down here can still reach every household! One Uncle, going back 50 odd years ago - was finally connecting power to houses in Fortrose in most southern, Southland; while another Uncle dug and laid cables to connect telephones! Thanks for leading us here for some new caches KiwiGeoswami.
