Wear long pants for this one. Some bush bashing required. Beware of snakes. Cache in good condition. TFTC
Out with the Adventurous Woman group and we had done our trek for the day. I had time to check this one out and it was only 200 metres away. Love hearing about the history here. Lot of bush bashing but I finally got there. Greeting from Melbourne
Bush bashed in from the road and made a quick find. Came out covered with scratches. Thanks Tedric.
Exploring the southwest a little more today, amazing too see so much water around I guess it is winter however I don’t think when I was living down here it was ever like this.
Took to some tracks that I wasn’t able to get to before, all up a great day out with more to come tomorrow.
Interesting area, large amount of fallen trees makes for an interesting walk in.

Down in Albany with C10 and headed out towards Denmark testing the capabilities of his new 4wd. Found a good variety of caches, but the rain made it a bit slippery. Had to dodge a fair few puddles on the trails today.
Thanks for the fun.
Thanks for the fun.
TFTC, a quick find and not hidden under/in the array of logs in the area, which was handy! Lovely spot!
Found while staying at cosy corner for a few days while on our lap of Aust. Cache and log in good condition. Thanks for the cache
I made this way harder than what it needed to be but was rewarded with a quick find once at GZ. Made a direct route back to the road for what was the easier way out.
Thanks for the cache and another history installment Tedrick.
Cheers

Finally getting around to logging several caches i havn't had a chance too! They have all been fun as always, found with hally4 TFTC
wear your boots for this one. note: since cache was replaced its no longer an ammo container
:/ to avoid any confusion, ignore note below about ammo container... a long day of caching has me mixing up my logs
Out and about with kiwinic today searching for a few caches, another reasonably quick find here. TFTC
Great to think of an old home amongst this forest. And glad of the clue. Could be tricky to access a few years down the way when the fire isn't so obvious. Thanks again for a good cache and good information.
Now the riddle of the nearby Stewart House Rd has been solved as well as the reason for the trees starting with P being where they are. Thanks for the info and the cache.
In Denmark for a few days but with the drizzly rain ongoing we hadn't been out exploring too far.
Today was fine so headed over to Cosy Corner but had to rush back as we had arranged a meet up with roymerc so no time to do any extended walks today.

After LOADS of bushbashing 6 months ago (no find) and going in circles again for a while AGAIN finally got to the right spot. Terrain ok if you have long pants & boots on...don't try this in shorts. We did...big mistake! TFTC
Another very interesting piece of history that we would not know about but for geocaching. Took note of previous logs and walked in through the trees. Not too difficult and spotted the cache when we arrived at gz. Was about 6 metres out for us, but with tree cover and a very overcast day, this would be quite normal. Thanks Tedrick for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.
Out and about today with gma and gdad allinaday. Enjoyed all the places we visited and had a lot of fun on the walks and also finding the caches. Thanks Tedrick.
Parked up at a pull off bay and walked up the road. Went through the low scrub but I’d definitely recommend going through the tree area as that was much easier! Made it to GZ and found cache easily and quickly. TFTC and the History lesson!
Found this little one on the way home today and while it is not that difficult to get too, I agree with whoever mentioned below, that the terrain rating should probably be upped a little... 2 stars is supposed to be "along well-defined paths with no significant elevation change or overgrowth" while 3 stars go over "...varied terrain - too difficult to ride a bike due to elevation changes or significant overgrowth."...
Guess I wouldn't make it a 3, though I wouldn't ride a bike in there either, but it sure has some overgrowth
Thanks for these neat discoveries of local gems Tedrick and keep up the good work!

At first was stopped in our tracks as we had left the bulldozers at home, but then found a sneaky way in

A bash thru the bush after fire had gone thru. Could be overgrown by next September. Bit out for Gps 7m. Found with bigSalmon1
We noticed this cache published a few days ago but we were expecting muggle visitors to arrive for a few days stay so no opportunity to grab it. The visitors headed back to Perth late this morning so after completing some yard chores, we packed the pooches into the Patrol and headed for Cosy Corner - what a fantastic day for autumn. Arrived roadside and it took a bit of to and froing to find a safe spot to park. Headed in through the treed area rather than the reedy scrub. Must say though that we think the terrain rating should be a 2 as we had to negotiate fallen tree trunks and other vegetation litter to get to gz. Not a perfect satellite fix for us as our gps indicated 5 mts when we spotted the container. Thanks Tedrick for the history lesson and the cache.
