After a day of 14km on the Vampire Series then some more caching with Scaphoid, we parted ways on Tharwa bridge. Seeing this was my best chance to get some caches along this road as I was not in a rush, alone and still had some daylight, I stopped at as many as was possible going north on this road. The rest will have to wait till I go south without a hurry sometime. Quick find, nice cache, all in good order. Thank you DARKSIDEDAN. for putting the cache out, maintaining it and contributing to this great hobby we have. Happy trails, Flintstone's
I have not found a cache starting with V in ACT.So this fits that need.Out caching with D@geoThank you the hide DARKSIDEDAN
Found with gwd.aussie while up for the Canberra GeoBash. Heading out to Deep Space Station Guided Tour grabbing a cache or two along the way. gwd.aussie was looking for a V cache.TFTC
Very excited to be here for my first Mega event from WA. Arrived a few days earlier to spend time with my childhood neighbour and family. First day in town and Ive dragged the old girl out caching. Out to try and boost my number to hit my next milestone whilst here. Many thanks DARKSIDEDAN for placing this hide for me to find and adding to my adventures. This will be my 7805 find.
We stopped here on the way to Tharwa and Honeysuckle Creek - another hidden date found thank you. An easy find too.
Enjoyed the country drive with ilook4geo and had a successful run. Found this cache without any problem and two more names were added to the log. Thanks for this placement go to DARKSIDEDAN.
Had a lovely country drive together with goingplaces2 and found the caches along this road. Some were a little more hidden than others but we enjoyed finding each one. TFTC.
Out with barb2e and Mae, the geohoumd for drive in the country.

Took walk up the Rob Roy River this afternoon to collect the caches there. I saw this one was here near where I parked, so I made a quick dash for it before heading upriver.
Thanks for the cache!

Day 7 of our 2 week road trip south from Brisbane. After overcoming floods, a bogged car and vehicle electrical issues, we finally reached Canberra to spend a few days with relatives and explore some of the newer virtual and earth caches since my last visit. It was then time to continue the journey south towards the Snowy Mountains.
I had been hoping to call in for some caches around Honeysuckle Creek today but the park had a closed sign as we started to drive in. No option then but to turn back towards Tharwa to join the Monaro Highway heading south. On the way I managed to call in for a hunt at this cache. After a DNF at a nearby cache in the series I was glad to get the finds happening again. No problem locating the cache here. TFTC

Out with LuckyL10n to grab the new caches along here. No issue here.
Thanks for this one DSD.

Out and about with Nibletricecakes and we had a few hours so headed back to Tharwa and Smith Road to continue chipping away at the Vampire Series. We also fitted in a couple of awesome cemetery caches and a church cache which we had abandoned searching in the dark a few months away. 9 finds, so a very successful afternoon. TFTC.
GLISS! For the win Some amazing flooded creeks around here. Wow!
A great afternoon exploring the area with GLISS! Some incredible old cemeteries out this way, and beautiful scenery with full rivers and creeks and the spring flowers and birds out. Great to tackle a few tricky caches as well as exploring the trails. Thanks for the cache!

On my way back home from way down South I dropped by this cache for a quick find. Had to appear interested in the waters flowing underneath while signing and replacing the cache in between passing travellers. TFTC.
Quick fun find with Nan (Appleboxlane) as one of a series of caches for her 70th! She was the clever finder.
#11511 - 10:27:00 AM; Headed southside early for a spot of caching before a meeting in Gordon. Collected an adventure lab in Tharwa and then some trads to pass the time before the appointed hour. A quick park and grab here on the way back toweards the city. TFTC DARKSIDEDAN

Nice day for a drive to Tharwa with a few caches on the way. Easy find, exactly where I first guessed as I drove up.
No vampires here today but a few Porsches and other cars of the ilk rumbled past.
Contented black cattle waxing fat in the surrounding good pasture, knee deep now. Just a tad cool in the breeze but lovely to be out and about in this area.
Another well placed cache along a popular toad .
Found at 5.10 pm with great views of the hills .
Thanks to DSD.

Found on a big Saturday getting lots of caches. Pulled up right near GZ for an easy find; and signed and replaced in between passing cars and motorbikes. Lovely views of Mt Tennant. TNLNSL. Gotta come back down here one day to get the rest of the Vampire caches - TFTC DSD!
A big day of caching with J+J.AU today. Starting in Mos Vale with a few quick aches just as light starts to appear. Then a long drive to and through Canberra to get to the part of the Murrumbidgy we were targeting today do finish of the vampire series. A lot of walking for some great d/t ratings and half of the time tracks were not really there! Of track is no problem however and enjoyed the day and perfect weather.

Cache 5519 on 13 Oct 2019.
I was keen to get out and grab a few caches today, and Fitzy_1965 was at a loose end after dropping Minniek off at Pine Island, so we decided to combine our efforts and grab a few caches together. We decided to head down south of Tharwa to grab a few Tankengine caches and what ever else cross our paths! I got 11 caches which I was happy with, and Fitzy also got quite a few. A lovely morning caching and catching up on the gossip!

Finally the Mega is here in Queanbeyan. Today we joined forces with Robmc and Betty Boo and headed for the hills collecting a few along the way.
We joined in the geotour for The Stuff of Nightmares for a wonderful afternoon of caching in company. We weren't planning to do this series as it was getting late but we got stuck behind a very slow p-plater so we grabbed another couple.
Thanks for contributing to the fun DARKSIDEDAN.

15362 Day 2 of our Clear Waters Mega. Robmc, The Morris and I headed back to the Showgrounds so we could finish off the trads and Lab Caches and one little Puzzle before heading south to join Dwarf Exploder for a tour of his Nightmares Series . Gathered a few more on the trip back to our accommodation.
Mmmm, have never delved into the lives and ways of vampires I must admit. Might just keep it that way too. Another quick stop, find and sign as we make our way back to town.
Thanks DARKSIDEDAN.

Day two at the Mega, so BettyBoo3747, The Morris and I started at the Show grounds, completing the lab caches, and doing a few others caches in the grounds, and generalling chatting to other cachers.
We spent the afternoon at the Stuff of Nightmares Tour, a lovely stroll lead by Captain Ben.
We read the rules, but they didn't help us fond the cache!
Luckily we had other powers.
Thanks, Robmc.

Attending the Clear Water 2019 mega this Easter in Queanbeyan. Apologies for the generic log but we have found too many to compose individual logs. Many thanks to all the cache owners for their caches, which have been exceptional in their maintenance I have had only 1 dnf and that was only because I was not going to make a tree climb without seeing where the cache was. The vast majority of caches have had very good coordinates. Along with useful hints. TFTC
Quick park and grab, well maybe not so quick as I over shot the cache and then had to walk 100m back. Quick find, although the log book was a bit damp
Another long great day out with woolwood9 hunting containers.

A quick find, thankful it's not where most are hidden on these structures.
There is a set log, might need TLC.

Found with nissan 65 on a few days caching in Canberra. We headed up last night after work and stayed at our usual over night spot in Goulburn before heading out this way. Thankyou to all cache owners for placing these for our enjoyment
Great to be back on the trail and finally picking up some of the new Vampire Series.
I headed out with Smittengranny, Joolay, dty73 and aquilus1 today so SG could get some more caches on her way to 6000 finds. Lots of fun with these ladies and had a great day. TFTC

Another fabulous day out on the caching trail today - this time with Kittykatch, Joolay, Aquilus 1 and dty73. We travelled in two cars but managed lots of relaxed chatting as we walked between caches. The Vampire Series were in our sights but we grabbed some smilies along the way. All caches attempted were found to be in good condition and now carry our names. Mostly mine is SG.
Thanks to all the COs for placing these caches for us to find. TNLN SL.

Busy today. My partner and I spent most of the day entertaining her kids for the holidays. I had to quickly come out for this one as it was getting a bit late, and we are planning a night out for the kids as well. I think this one gives me my second 100-day streak. I'm looking forward to getting the rest of this series. Thanks, DSD.
In my previous haste to get to the vampire trails, didn't notice these on the way. Collected today - all good.
Thanks,
Thanks,
With the sun out Genghicat and I decided to explore Tharwa area. We grabbed this cache on the way.

A nice sunny winter's day in Canberra, so what to do? Well naturally, a day out caching with Touchstone7 sounded like a great idea.
Drove out to Tharwa to explore a little bit of Southern Canberra and grabbed a few of the nearby caches.
Thanks for the cache Darkside Dan.

A quick find on a beautiful sunny winter's day as we headed for the Cotter and Corin by a roundabout way for a day of caching. Thanks DARKSIDEDAN .
Having had our caching plans foiled by bike race day, we are now picking up any caches along the way. At least we can say we have done abit of the vampire series . This one was one for geoD as we have an agreement about these sort of caches lol . Tftc
