Sadly this cache has gone missing and while there's works happening around GZ I feel that I have to archive this cache. Happy and healthy Geocaching.

Found the log on the ground, but not the geocache Put the log in a safe place and informed bunadoorian. He has confirmed cache is missing, and has retrieved the log. A great location, but seems to have muggle issues. Thanks for responding so quickly bunadoorian.

After losing part of her Tott at the last cache, Tiz13 moved on to this cache... not knowing what to expect and still confused over how she can find caches but not her own equipment...still confused I did wonder if it was going to affect my ability to find this cache but thankfully l was straight on to it. Fav point for craftsmanship.

Thanks for this little local one. I love when I discover caches in areas that I’ve been visiting for years prior to getting into geocaching.

Coordinates changed to:

Distance from original: 62.6 feet or 19.1 meters.

I am trying to move this cache to a slightly more secluded site due to this cache going missing at the old site. I have had to update the container as the old one is no longer in my possession. The basis of the cache remains the same.
Thanks Bunjil
Happy and healthy geocaching

Tried to find something in the area, being difficulty 3 I assumed it was tricky but didn’t have any luck.

Had a lovely chat to the cache owner who popped down. Not in the location anymore but will hopefully restored soon.

A quick find with the hint. I hope that all those who have 'black dog' difficulties have a support group to help them.

14-Dec-22
I arrived at this cache after grabbing a quick breakfast. I was very confused when I started searching for the cache but I checked the hint and that helped me find the sneaky find. I logged my name in the logbook and then I headed off. The cache was a bit damp, but it was in good enough condition to write my name.

I visited 4 TB

Travelled down to Watsonia today for a family function, but managed to steal a little caching time before we had to rock up to the rellies. We had actually been here a couple of times before but never searched because there had been muggles around. Today the entire area was muggle free and we had a good idea of what we might be looking for, so it was a nice quick park n grab of this nicely constructed cache. TFTC bunadoorian, nice work!

This is only the second time I've seen this specific hide method, and once again I'm impressed with its elegant simplicity and suitability for an "in plain sight" cache.

I've been fortunate enough so far in life to have only had minor skirmishes with the infamous Black Dog myself, but a couple of good friends are susceptible and have suffered its cruel bite too many times...

Signed the log, visited a couple of trackables. Thanks for the cache, bunadoorian.

Spending a few days on the road with Wilbert as we travel to and from the Whittlesea Mega event.
Having a great time finding an array of different types and D/T rated caches.
Thanks to all the CO’s for hiding your particular cache.
Day 3 and we’re hunting LGA’s today.
My apologies for the boiler style log.

Mega in Whittlesea is done! Today we are going around Melbourne doing LGA's and labs. Pretty cold today, but good caching.

It's the first full day hanging out with Big Matt, cruising around seemingly arbitrary bits of outer Melbourne and beyond ahead of the [Whittlesea Mega-Event](https://coord.info/GC8EW40). I've been reasonably ignorant about the plan, and given I'm also the least familiar with the area, and not driving, I'm willingly along for the ride.

After a later than planned start (no complaint though) and some breakfast, this was next on the list after a short drive across a suburb or two. Unlike where we'd been, this place was deserted. I can imagine it gets all bustling at times. I also noticed it's been a wee minute since the council mowed nearby - the picnic table and playground might vanish in the long grass soon!

Wandering across the GZ, it was a quick find. A classic geocaching hide that the average muggle will never notice. Neither of us had a pen, so back to the car for the signing. Did the geocache fall apart in my hands? Yes. Was it just in need of a screw putting back in? Yes. Did I make sure it was fixed before the logbook was handed back to me? Also yes.

Luckily, I've had very, very little experience and exposure to the black dog in this life. But, I can appreciate the memory that this geocache upholds. Thank you for this enjoyable little geocache, bunadoorian Smile

This cache was found today and brings our overall cache find tally to 12048.

A nice quick little find as we moved through the area this morning. Captain Terror and I quickly spotted this as we toured the area trying to tick off LGA’s.

Thanks bunadoorian for the cache.

Found nice and quick actually! The logbook is a bit fragile at the moment so please put back kindly ️

Out and about with my Geo-buddy Rebel Acts to tackle some Adventure labs and hopefully put some smiles on the maps.

It was also great to have the sun back with no rain today.

Cheers for the cache!

Found by Rebel Acts in the company of Omegaman1971

Out and about on another of our weekend caching trips, today we were chasing a few new labs and a couple side tracked caches. Lots of fun and laughs as always were had while out exploring the area.

This is one of the caches found today. A quick park and grab here.

Thanks bunadoorian for the cache.

After spending a rainy day with my nephew splashing around in a park nearby, I decided to find this cache on the way back home. I'd seen a similar hides in the past although this one was bigger than I expected. Once I had the cache in hand I also spent too long trying to twist the top off only to realise it was a pull hahaha!

Thanks for highlighting such an important topic too, it's been a very difficult few years for everyone and I hope everyone reading this knows that it's ok to not be ok and there are always people around for you to reach out to. Including me, a stranger on the internet!

Thanks for the cache!

Second find of the day. Day is still coolish but the humidity is high. Need to find a water fountain to keep me going. Onwards.

We found this cache today on our Watsonia Wander. Our first cache back on the trail after heading over to Watsonia for some lunch. A really nice hide here. Our only previous find in this park was called 'Go Saints' and that was just over 8,000 finds ago. Thanks from D & HA B-A.

Dog sitting nearby for my son and headed over to find this one. Sorry catching up on logging while I can.
Loved the pun here after my short hunt.
Thanks for the hunt bunadoorian

A beautiful sunny day and no plans so what to do but a little caching.
Not too familiar with this area of Melbourne so an opportunity to check it out.
Took a while but then the clue fell into place and there it was. Great hide.

Yeah this one was a sneaky hide and I managed to visit earlier this week to grab it, but some Muggles were selling a camper van to a prospective buyer within 20m of GZ. I was sure I knew what the cache was, but didn’t want to draw any further attention to myself, so I turned around and zipped away.
Today I came back and whilst a few dog walkers and general public were in the area, I could make the grab of the cache (fortunately what I thought it was) and add my moniker and return it without drawing too much attention.
Awesome hide and well placed.
Sorry to hear of the reason for this cache as I have had similar experiences with my connections also. Not a fun time.
Anyway, the cache, container and log are in excellent condition.
I visited 4 TB.

Thanks for the cache bunadoorian.

Electric scooters in the car with AL's thr target for Spiffy- and I plus a few other caches en route. And we milked every last drop of power out of the scooters with both flashing red when we finished.

Nicely hidden here and just far enough away from the muggles watching the game in progress.

Thanks to bunadoorian for the placement and fun.

07-Feb-21
Found at 2:51 pm.
Today we headed out to do a few Adventure Lab caches on the scooters and while we were there we would also look for whatever else we came across. It was a great afternoon out and about because the light rain stopped just when we started before lunch. We got a little too far from where we parked and I ended up having to manually push the scooter the last 1.5km back to the car because I didn't realise how much downhill riding we had done and misjudged the returning distance and had my first red battery light situation. I survived though so everything was ok.

I was a bit worried on approach from way over the other side of the oval because a game was going on but as we got closer we were out of the way. Nicely done, a favourite from me.
Thanks bunadoorian for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Enjoyed this find very much - very clever! We are giving it a favourite point for creativity. TFTC

An evening search for GOLD, this time on a part of Warrandyte State Park on the opposite side of Jumping Creek Road to previous visits.

Parking at the northern end of Fire-Break track, I zigzagged between that and Haslam's Track in the fading light, collecting a total of eight smileys before the darkness beat me at the ninth.

Now, that was not how I wanted to feel at the end of a caching run, so I cast about for another hide near my route home. This is not far from the Ring Road.

A fine hide, bunadoorian. I took a moment of thought after guessing the hide from a distance.

On reflection, a good end to a night's caching.

Last one for the day and what a pearler. Very clever hide. I like the play on words here. Again the geowife says she found this first but I didn't see her pulling on it so I guess I will have to believe her. Great design and very creative. Gets a favourite point from me. TFTC.

Great find.

Feeling inspired by the nearby GC7RJYJ (High powered bike path - also by Bunadoorian) I decided this glorious evening I should give this one a crack. And gosh am I glad I did. Loved this cache much like all the Bunadoorian caches I have found. Very cleverly hidden right where a muggle shouldn't notice but in a logical position for a cacher. Lucky for me there were no scouts around the abseiling tower otherwise making the find without muggles noticing would have been very challenging, especially for someone like me who isn't very good at being stealthy. Lovely to flick through the logbook and see all the names and dates going back quite a while. I've signed the logbook as 'GeoPanda 15/11/20'. There is plenty of space in the logbook and all is in great condition.

Thanks, Bunadoorian once again.

Found it! Spent quite a while searching for the cache though, did not think of looking there at all at first.

A nice quick find here today as I had seen a similar hide in a previous trip to this area. The sports field was completely deserted, which made my search easier. Currently visiting family in Greensborough, on holidays from WA. Thank you for the cache bunadoorian.

Awesome hide. Thank you! The Yank spotted it while I was still investigating in the wrong area

11-Dec-19
Tonight we were out and about in the area and it was nearing a must cache day we stopped to collect this. The GPS took a while to settle but then with a quick glance the cache was identified and the log signed. After that checked out some nearby Christmas lights. TFTC

I dropped by here while on the way to work this morning to open my account for September. I was a bit worried about the search given the difficulty rating but the spot-on coordinates combined with some previous experience with this type of hide soon had me signing the log at 09:20. Big Grin

TNLNSL, although a couple of our geocoins had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks bunadoorian.
