Tftc!! Loved it!

13-Oct-24
After some initial mis-interpretation of what we needed to find (my fault) we quickly had this one solved, and had conveniently had parked very close to GZ for the actual cache Smile Great puzzle and Hide!

29-Aug-24
Had this one on the radar for a while. Today was the day. Set off with required H2O and soon had a set of coords meeting the checksums. Loved the concept used here. Off to the final gz but having no luck. Resorted to paf which was just as well because seems I had transposed the digits for east when writing down - hence checksum still worked. Aimed with corrected coords and a generous hint, cache was soon in hand. TFTC Mister Doctor. Love your creativity. A favourite from me.

Another great cache by Mr Doctor. Learning things is a great part of caching. First step was easy, second not so much. Just needed to look harder. TFTC, and for the great hides over a couple of day. SL at 8:50am.

Thanks Peter. Our first ever cache found. Cheers.

15-Jun-24
Wow! Both stages of this cache are so good! Great cache to finish off the day, and thanks to mister doctor for a great cache!

30-Apr-24
After reading the cache page, I still didnt know what to expect at the posted coordinates. All was quickly revealed, and I had just enough water with me to find out the coordinates. Made the nice walk to GZ and after walking around and checking a few different places, made the find of a really terrific hide. A very unique multi topped off with an excellent hunt at the end. FP from us for sure!

27-Mar-24
This was to have been the last one before we begin making our way up towards the mega in Canberra tomorrow...but a helpful PAF from the CO means a return to the DNF first. We came prepared with plenty of equipment and parked up reasonably close to the fish tank and soon some nice coords bubbles to the surface. At GZ we walked around in circles for a bit, then Mr E alighted on something. Aha! Whilst signing, an inquisitive Yorkshire terrier came to investigate and we got chatting to its lovely Muggle owner about our hobby. Now to avenge that DNF!

Cache found and log signed with dalerious Razz. Congratulations to you Mister Doctor, and to us, as we definitely didn't sink on any of your caches this weekend Cool. Even when the hide grew legs, we were able to put our hands on it. The hint told the story well, and the high density container which has sprouted legs, was located by dalerious, whilst catnap, in true feline style, stood on a big rock to escape the ants wanting to eat her paws.Another awesome cache that is awarded by a favourite point from us, but has awarded us with so much fun Cool.

Happy New Year. Big GrinBig GrinFound (with a widened search parameter), signed and returned as found with catnap777. CoolIt was New Year's Eve, and cat' & I had been off to Geelong for a belated family Christmas bash the day before, and now we were chasing a fist full of caches in and around Melbourne to see in the new year on the way home. RazzWe were mainly on the hunt for Virtual caches and Earth caches for challenges we are striving for, but we also had a small pile of solved Mystery caches that needed our attention. TwistedThen and only then did we allow ourselves time to play with Mr Doctor caches. TwistedThis one multi for the day stole my favourite point at the posted coords. RazzWhat a brilliant and fun way to teach the science of "Desity". [^] No wonder this cache was Winner of Best Multi Cache in the 2018 Victorian Cache of the Year Awards. CoolCongratulations MisterDoctor and TFTC.Definate fav added. Big GrinOh.... GZ seemed a bit off and may have some cache creep issues. We also had to dust off the residents before signing this well concealed log.

Found the fishes but couldn't find the second stage

17-Sep-23
Such a beautiful day and what better way to spend it but on the bikes grabbing some caches. I had this one on my list for so long but every time we go for a ride I would leave it for next time. Well today was the day. Made our way to co ords and it didnt take long for the little fishes to reveal their secrets. We soon had a set of coords that looked good and back on the bikes to locate the cache. I think the trees were interfering with my GPS so I was going around in circles. Luckily Geohubby had better instincts and we soon had the log signed and safely back in place. Thanks Mister Doctor for another great and creative cache and bonus point for putting it within riding distance from home .

03-Sep-23
Out and about on a beautiful Spring day. I found the fish tank and added my water. I suspect it was a bit more than the 600 ml. but anyway, I was able to grab the numbers and, after a couple more caches first, head to GZ for a quick find.

Thanks to Mister Doctor for the cache. It's a novel way to gain the co-ords. I'll give it a favourite.

15-Aug-23
Armed with the necessary equipment Crustyvarmint and I set to reading the instructions and marvelling at the ingenuity of it all! Coords were quickly ascertained and the cache found and log signed. TFTC Mister Doctor...a most enjoyable and clever one.

14-Aug-23
Redcb and I approached the posted coords with enough water to see us through. We soon gathered the information we needed to calculate GZ. Returning the equipment to it's original position, we headed off to GZ, where something caught our eyes. Upon inspection, we soon had the log sheet signed.
Thanks for another of you innovative hides Mister Doctor. Another favourite point, well earned.

24-Jul-23
A light shower didn't stop us, and the cache provided some shelter while we did the field puzzle. What a gem, first of its kind I have seen. Thanks for the innovation here.

23-Jul-23
This was the main goal today while out and about clearing up the caches along the creek trail. We were looking forward to seeing how this cache was constructed as well as conducting the experiment. I was thinking before we arrived how the heck would Mr Doctor hide a fish tank in the shrubs. My son was thinking we would need to jump in the creek to do some actual fishing. With a bit of jiggling we had our clues.

After punching in the final co-ordinates and now having a hankering for sashimi after a light lunch of muesli bars and bananas we set off, back from where we came as we did the loop from the other side of the creek.

I should have read the hint before attempting a search, as once I did it was found in short time. Very nicely camouflaged.

Both caches in great condition and ready for the next lucky finder. Another favourite point coming your way Mr Doctor. You never fail to impress with your crafty caches.

23-Jul-23
With the day's 'required' caching done (maintaining a 28-day streak for a souvenir) with 2 TDOC23 FTFs near home in the morning, we headed south-east for some leisurely strolls in the afternoon.
I had done a couple of caches here when I did the Gardiners Creek parkrun last month so was a little familiar with the layout and still had a few caches to find.
In the light drizzle we made our way to WP1 where the field puzzle was found out in the open, with the lid opened. Fortunately all was intact functionally. Despite the drizzle we had no H2O so had to make our way to one of the listed points for the necessary supplies, determine GZ, then return the field puzzle to its original (hidden!) location.
Then onto GZ where I was looking for something else and Jacko pounced on the obvious. It's always obvious in hindsight, though Big Grin.
Thanks for the innovative way to provide co-ordinates, Mister Doctor. A FP from me.

First ever multi cache, really fun experience!

26-Jun-23
This one had been on my to do list for a little while, but after getting a peek behind the curtain at the [CO's](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=7d33975e-dd45-4386-8e04-c1988ca4e720&wid=7c1342e8-f138-4b84-a4d4-d8340ecb894c&ds=2) [Maker Magic: Mitcham Makers (GCA859W) event](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GCA859W_maker-magic-mitcham-makers) and seeing how the mechanism worked and the inspiration for the cache, I was more keen than ever to try and find it.

Well my goal for 2023 has been to try and get close to qualifying for [ahomburg's](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=1ded3729-fe62-40bb-9f5f-fd559e7163b1&wid=54e007c1-391b-4f69-b6f2-af7b91887d92&ds=2) [The Non-Traditional Calendar Challenge (GC7RCQ3)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC7RCQ3), so when a day came that I needed to find another non-traditional cache I knew the first one I was going to choose.

So after finishing my appointment near by I drove straight towards the posted coordinates. I was so intrigued by how this cache was going to work. I actually got to the posted coordinates found the initial container and then realised in all my excitement that I actually left my very important TOTT (my good ol' H20), back in the geomobile. So witb a quick detour back to the truck to grab my water bottle I came back and filled up the fish tank, and let's just say the cache worked swimmingly!

*I know I know bad pun. Don't worry I am not proud of myself for that one lol*

I loved seeing the mechanism on this one work, just a cool idea. I didn't know what to expect for the fish tank design, but it worked so well.

So I quckly obtianed the required numbers, double checked with the checksum.

*Woo hoo! Got it on the first try!*

I then made my way to GZ. It was a lovely little walk this evening. This is a gorgeous little pocket of nature and I could just feel the stress of today's work melt away.

Once I arrived at GZ, I saw something that looked a bit unusual and the cache was found in the first place I looked.

*Although I could see how the amazing camo on the final container could make this one very tricky.*

Your creativity knows no bounds [Mister Doctor](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=7d33975e-dd45-4386-8e04-c1988ca4e720&wid=7c1342e8-f138-4b84-a4d4-d8340ecb894c&ds=2). Thanks so much for such a fun, unique and creative caching experience.

This one of course earns a favourite point from me!

**Cache Maintenance Status**

The initial cache container was in great shape. All of the *"local wildlife"* were in good shape. The mechanism at the posted coordinates worked great. The final container at GZ was also in good shape. The camo looked phenomenal and the logbook was fairly clean and dry with plenty of room for future cache finders to sign.

Bugger. Did the hard work and carried my drink bottle around the whole loop. Couldn’t find the cache at GZ

15-Jun-23
Got a hint from the CO. Feel silly as I did look there but didn’t see it. Got a smiley now though

11-Jun-23
We noticed how many favourite points this cache has accumulated, then the name of the CO. There was no way we were going to pass up this chance to take a shot given that we were nearby.

After a spot of fishing, which was fun and such a unique way of obtaining the coordinates, we were on our way to GZ.

We did exceed the 20min estimated time for completion because I interpreted the hint incorrectly. With a change in tactics, the cache was soon discovered.

Love the whole experience of this cache Mister Doctor. Adding another favourite to the tally.

11-Jun-23
This was a fun multi that took a bit of time to work out, once a GZ the cache was soon uncovered. The log seems to be soaking up a bit of water and was rather moist.

Thanks Mister Doctor for the cache.

21-May-23
Found it! Yay! Really?! I’m sure I looked there on my last visit but clearly not properly!! We had gathered the required information last month when finding caches for the challenge. Tonight was my second visit to GZ and much more successful! TFTC SL Science is amazing! ️

20-May-23
What an incredibly creative puzzle cache! Never seen one quite like this before - certainly a favourite point from us! GZ had us walking in circles for a while, until closer inspection of one feature by my husband turned up the cache (couldn't believe I'd handled it a number of times, just not inspecting from all angles!). Really glad to have found it! TFTC!!

11-May-23
Suscoe headed out very early this morning to find this cache.
We had done the work for GZ coords last evening but time was against us for a good search.
This morning wewere greeted by fog and a chilly start.
A quick search and the cache was in hand.
Thanks to Mister Doctor for a clever caching experience and science lesson.

04-May-23
Found this a couple of weeks ago. Full log to follow, thank you.

Another MrDr cache, another brilliant idea impeccably constructed. No choice but to award a favourite! TFTC (again!!!!)

27-Dec-22
Well, this was an enjoyable cache! Luckily I had some water with me and could work out the coords for the final. The final was in the wrong direction from the walking loop I was doing so I decided to drive to the final spot. At GZ, I struggled with the find, but after reading through some logs, I had a better idea about the hide and checked one spot closely. Yep there it was, and now the hint made more sense!

The cache was heaps of fun to do, and it was good how WP1 kept me hidden from nearby walkers. Thanks for placing this fun cache into the wild.

Crafty hide! It didn't take us too long to find what we needed af WP1. It's been such a beautiful day too!

Having been impressed by many of the CO's caches in the past, we decided to treat ourselves with a 'Mister Doctor' day.
This one kind of looked familiar. I think we came here once before (empty handed). Not this time though.
We watched in awe as the physics did it's thing.
Arriving at GZ, we hunted around for quite a while until we eventually found it in the first place we looked. I wish I'd looked a bit harder the first time!
Thanks Mister Doctor for something a bit different. Definitely a favourite point from us.

Have been meaning to try this one for a while. Glad we did today. Very clever but still relatively quick. TFTC!

This afternoon was a chance for me to get out of the house for a few hours. I joined OzHockeyChick for some after work caching and set out to find a multi.

A Mister Doctor cache was on the list and it was a cache of the year award winner no less. I brought along the components required and set about beginning to get the coordinates to reveal themselves. Sure enough before long the fish were sending me in a direction required to make the find. What an ingenious and different way to collect coordinates - Mister Doctor you never seem to amaze me.

The cache was found soon after although I did have to check the location twice as I totally missed it in the first inspection .

Thanks Mister Doctor for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to find.

Out with echidna44 and au.fait. This was such a cool cache. Once we had our answers we set out to find the final location. So cool how there's always an interactive and exciting aspect to your caches Mister Doctor! A fav point from us!

18-Jun-22
Well I never! This was a clever cache! Thankfully I had plenty of the necessary ingredient in my car and so when I saw I was close by to this cache I had to come by. It was a glorious winter afternoon so I had to time my ducking into the bushes right in order to not raise suspicions. Upon finding the first stage I opened it up to a cockroach and a baby huntsman! After they were cleared and the H2O added the fishies did their swimming and I had new numbers for coords. A lovely stroll to GZ ensued!

Thanks for another quality cache!

Eldest son still had uni close by today, even on a public holiday, so I drove down with him on his 'L's.
Decided to take a little walk before heading home, and was keen to have a look at this cache.
At the posted coordinates, the tank was on the ground, quite exposed. Many muggles about, so I took it to a nice patch of lawn out of the way.
Generous application of aquatic medium and a good shoogle (good word, that) and presto! a set of coordinates appeared thanks to relative density.
As I was unsure where exactly the tank should be replaced, I placed it back pretty much where it was, but placed some natural camo to make it less obvious.
I was pleased to note that the location of GZ was back towards where I'd parked given the warm humid afternoon.
After a minute or two of searching, a quite high density, well camouflaged hide was found, and the log signed.
TFTC Mister Doctor, and for the very clever execution.
The best multi I've seen
A well deserved favourite point awarded.

We were in the area today with a short window for some caching and this one piqued our interest on the map. Being a Sunday we were able to park in the nearby University carpark but on reflection probably could have got closer. Had come prepared with a 1.5L container and took a moment at GZ to see what we had to do. A short drive to GZ initially had us thinking we might need some water again for the retrieval but then an inspection of the area soon revealed the cache camo. TFTC, another well deserved fav.

17-Jan-22
Had set out to find a few of the caches along this beautiful creek trail. Seeing that this cache was placed by Mister Doctor, we were excited to give this one a go. Our high expectations were exceeded and we thoroughly enjoyed this clever cache!!!

14-Jan-22
Found and solved the first location, was really cool! Unfortunately wasn't able to find anything at the final location, and there were too many muggles around to stay for too long.
TFTC, the fish was a great idea.

10-Jan-22
Initially planned on getting this cache 4th but needed to come back and get it last as a neighbour was raking leaves at listed coords. This cache really reminded me of how dumb I can be. After pouring water into cache and sitting looking at it dumbfounded for a good 5 minutes I decided to pour more water in and only after overflowing the container with more than enough water that Yeet came to the conclusion of the coordinates. It really was that simple and yet again overthinking and complication made it more hard when really all you need to do it think about the theme and follow the instructions and don’t be afraid to add as much water as you need!

After getting to gz found the cache fairly easily and logged. I’ve always wanted to build a cache container like this but I don’t really have the right equipment and am not very crafty. Very cool to see a cache idea of mine be brought to life . Thanks Mister Doctor for making this cache I can imagine it would have been quite time consuming. Thanks for the last cache of the day, a very successful day of all 8 caches found!!! yay

27-Dec-21
Great cache! Haven't seen anything like this before and what an inventive way to re-use those little things. It actually took quite some time to find the container at the listed coordinates - I think Julesc21 and I thought we were looking for something bigger. I liked the fact that the instructions were fairly vague, and we had only an inkling of what might happen, but it all became clear once followed. Once we had the coordinates we had to backtrack the way we had come, but we thought it would be worth it so headed over to GZ. Then we had another long search - even with the hint it took some time, but coords were spot on so I stood there and rechecked a spot I'd already checked (but clearly not closely enough) and voila! TFTC +1fp

20-Oct-21
I found this cache today on my Nothing is Easy Today - Eastern Suburbs Tour. I came past the start of this one quite a while back but did not have the required water so I had it on the list today. Armed with the required H2O, I had just gotten into the park and onto the path, when I realised that I had left my mask in the car, so I had to retreat and fetch it. It the very short time that it took me to do that, a gardener had come up, parked next to the start of the path and put up a "keep out, spraying in progress" sign. I am just flabbergasted as to how many times I strike something like this. In order to get what I needed, I took the back fence way in, loved what I saw, completed the task and made my way out before the spray man had even returned to his ute for the spray gun. Once at GZ, I had a quick look around before resorting to the hint. Without my glasses on, one of the words I read as "Thigh" which I did not really understand, especially when accompanied with the other word. I searched all sorts of areas at thigh height, things that were about thigh width all to no avail. I read a lot of previous logs and finally after about 20 minutes of poking around, I re-read the hint and found it to be "(High", Yes, ha, ha, I thought that the bracket was a "T". Now the hint made perfect sense and I had the cache in hand in under a minute. A great cache, nonetheless. Thanks from D B-A

Caches like this are why I love geocaching! Well deserved winner in the 2018 awards!

We originally found the 'Fish Tank' a few weeks ago, but didn't have a water bottle so decided to come back another time. Today Finding.Sarah and I brought the geokid and geodog down for a walk and to have a crack at this and the other caches in the park. We had just enough water in our bottle to give us the result we needed and mapped the location of GZ. We continued our walk and after finding all the other caches in the park approached GZ.

I had a look around for a while without luck while Finding.Sarah looked after the little ones before we swapped and she found the hiding place without much trouble! I was a bit hasty in my search and actually had the right spot but clearly Finding.Sarah better at thoroughly searching. TFTC

Favourite point added for this one.

Hubby spent a good while looking for this one whilst I watched the little one (gz is not pram friendly), being unsuccessful in his search he suggested we just leave unless I wanted to have a look too, of course I did! less than 5 mins later the cache was in hand, typical boy vision missing what was in plain sight - TFTC

Woohoo - Milestone cache #6000 for us!!

We made specific plans to target this cache as our #6000, carefully watching our numbers earlier in the week on a day caching trip around Maryborough. We had a couple of family engagements booked for this weekend, but sadly Chunk was unwell this morning and was unable to make the trip in. So Chook grabbed her son Lazyade and the forecast bad weather held off just for us!

Not wanting to empty out our drinking water, we grabbed a spare cache that was in the back of the geo-truck and made our way to one of the water taps. We thoroughly enjoyed the science and the work that went into waypoint one, and soon had the final coords in hand. Passing many families and dog walkers along the way, we enjoyed a smidgeon of sunchine as we walked to GZ. At GZ we were focussed on the wrong spot and initially couldn't find the cache. Being such a special cache we reached out to the CO who answered pretty much immediately, however we had already found the cache as soon as we had hit the SEND button - isn't that often the way.

A definite favourite point from us for this cache-of-the-year worthy multi. Thank you so much Mister Doctor. Love your work.

A few weeks ago I was pleasantly surprised to see I'd hit 999 finds and, having mentioned this to the family, Corvius (aka Geoson the Younger) said he was keen to come along and find #1000 with me.

We decided a milestone like this deserved something a step or two above "yet another mint tin jammed under a random bush/somewhere unremarkable". With that in mind, the criteria we set, to "winnow out the chaff", as it were, was that the cache had to have at least 50 favourite points awarded, and Sink or Swim was the closest unfound that fit the bill.

At the first stage we easily located the container, and after I'd retrieved it Corvius did the H2O honours, then we swapped again so I could read out the coords for him to jot down.

Checksums checked out, we headed off to the final GZ and the simply but effectively concealed container was located in the second place searched.

Signed the log, thanks for creating a great cache for find #1000, Mister Doctor - it thoroughly deserves all those fave points, so we'd like to add another to mark the occasion. Smile

Found at 12:23. What a great cache this is. A few weeks ago, on our way to Deakin Uni we stopped by and did the first stage of the Multi. We were going to collect the final on the way back but we got too hot and ran out of time. Today we came back to collect the final. Once we worked out the clever hint we found it easily. Thanks Mister Doctor for this ingenious cache and well done for making it work so well. A definite favourite point here.

I'm on a mission this month to qualify for the **Multicache Month Challenge Cache**... which means finding 31 Multis in January... and although the month started well, the numbers are tightening up with 26 Multi Smile's on the 26th... so I figured it would be a good idea to go out this afternoon and find some more... possibly even 5 to finish off the challenge. As I am almost out of Multis near home, I made a trek over to Surrey Hills /Burwood / Box Hill for a number of Multis reasonably close together that looked like they *wouldn't take all day!*

Having had a successful afternoon I only needed one more Multi to complete the challenge... and what could be better than this one. I arrived at the published location duly armed with plenty of water... and was soon sloshing little fish about. Eventually the answer I needed floated into my mind and I was able to head off to GZ. Once there I wandered about for while wondering where the cache could be... until I *stumbled* over it leaving me with the feeling that I had been *highly dense* not to pick it up sooner!

Thanks **Mister Doctor** for a very clever... and different... cache. It's worth all the Favourite Points it has... and I will give it another one some day... but first I have to go out and earn it!

What a great cache this is. On our way to Deakin Uni we stopped by and did the first stage of the Multi. We were going to collect the final on the way back but we got too hot and ran out of time. We will be back to collect the final before too long hopefully and will save a favourite point for the ingenious multi. Thanks Mister Doctor.

some dogs were barking after the art-filled wander but others were fresh
and with this tasty-looking treasure nearby, the expedition was extended
to the sound of the last bells

since this treasure was found on gravy day
we have some additional data for those who bring their pantry with them:

* flour (0.59 g/cm³)
* salt (2.17 g/cm³)
* a little red wine (0.99 g/mL)
* a dollop of tomato sauce (1.15 g/mL)

and overall:

* gravy (density = 0.96 g/mL)

we tried it with gravy first but it made it a little hard to progress
so we licked everything out, sanitised our tongues and tried anew

cheers doctor, love your work as usual
thanks for adding that extra tang
praise the baby jesus, have a merry christmas

As of Monday 9 November, the publication of new caches is set to recommence in metropolitan Melbourne. For details see: [https://wiki.groundspeak.com/display/GEO/Victoria](https://wiki.groundspeak.com/display/GEO/Victoria)

I’m following that lead and finally re-enabling my caches too!

I have checked in on each of them to see that containers and logbooks are present, and that all are ready and eager to have visitors again.

Let’s play! Smile

I am taking my lead from the planned recommencement of cache publications in metropolitan Melbourne on 9 November, and so will also be waiting until that date to re-enable my caches.

Sadly, metropolitan Melbourne is now back under Stage 3 COVID-19 restrictions. As a result, I am disabling this cache during this heightened period of risk.

.. after a DNF last time I wasn’t sure if my coords were correct .. So after confirmation of the coords and a generous hint from the CO I returned to find this cache. ... a quick find indeed .. how did I miss that last time.. and I wasn’t even close!! Thanks Mister Doctor .. a favourite point from me

Out and about last night with Trailstevo on an evening Winter stomp. Was good to get back here, last time I was doing the parkrun and having to run past all the hides. Not easy, i could hear them calling me! A great variety of hides and lots of run had. Also a much needed distraction from Master 13 who has been pushing my buttons this past few weeks. As always MrDoctor, a special cache, a Fav for sure, a great contribution to our game.

Dada - really fun again. as usual took a nice circuitous route. Apologies for very late log. Just happen to be in another LOCKDOWN and have some DOWNTIME and discovered a list of DRAFTS! TFTC and the fun.

We are now entering a phased exiting of COVID-19 lockdown in Victoria. As of Wednesday 13 May, cache publication is recommencing, and so I am also re-enabling my caches once more.

Enjoy geocaching, but please remember to stay safe!

Used my isolation exercise walk today to take a stroll along by the creek near here and try a few caches. On my way back to the car I was able to come past this one and give it a go. No problem finding what was needed at the posted coordinates but the working out where I needed to go next was the fun part. Very nicely done here and I can see what this was a worthy winner in the yearly awards. Headed off to GZ where a short search yielded the cache and allowed me to add my name to the log book. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for a great multi cache Mister Doctor and for making my walk a little more interesting. This is a very clever concept and earns a favourite point from me.

The best way to flatten the curve of COVID-19 is to stay at home. From what we know about the virus, it is able to survive on plastic for 3 days and steel for 2-3 days. Given that publication of new geocaches is now halted in Victoria, it seems sensible to also take a step back from those out in the field.

As a result, I am disabling this cache during this heightened period of risk.

"There is no social occasion or celebration that’s worth more than a human life. For Victorians that means if you can stay home, you must stay home. We are all being asked to make sacrifices. Because if we don’t, people will die." Premier of Victoria, Daniel Andrews.

The last great caching day with ilukaperi before the COVID-19 lockdown took hold. It would be 8 weeks before we headed out again. At the time we weren't aware af this , but by now we knew the seriousness of what was likely to happen. So, today we just enjoyed finding caches, whilst keeping our distance from each other.

Loved WP1, a very clever idea. A FAV point from me. TFTC!

This being my last week of holidays I had just been camping and then today day1976 and I did a whole lot of caches around the area.
Little did I know this would be our last big caching day for quite some time.
This cache was a worthy one for our last day, and we did end up driving to the final location after having walked around this whole park. Then we struggled to find the cache due to the confusing hint of high density. Day1976 ended up calling ahomburg and he gave us the help we needed to find it.

Out for the day with ahomburg targeting some caches we both hadn’t found. Thanks for placing the cache Mister Doctor, a favourite point.

Find #10995

Some more Thursday afternoon and into evening fun with beckNmonts, with today the focus being Multi's, a couple of puzzles and avenging a DNF.

Couldnt possibly go past this award winning cache and not give it a go. Fortunately I had the required TOTT in the back of the car. VERY well done! Razz

Many thanks to Mister Doctor for the cache. TNLN.

Big things are continuing to happen! *Are you joining the fun again in 2020?*

Taking a study break I decided to look for a cache on campus, which is how I came across this brilliant cache.

At first I was worried if I would be able to understand it, but upon adding water the answer became immediately clear. Upon arriving at the coordinates at walking in a few circles I soon found the cache. TFTC

Pretty sure I was in the right place after reading other logs, but couldn't find it. Will keep an eye on the next logs.

Our geomuggle friends are definitely interested now.

This was a great cache to show off the marvellous creativity and ingenious design that CO’s can come up with.

With the successful application of the method we had some nearby co-ordinates in hand. Thankfully quite close to our original parking spot. Have to get lucky sooner or later...

Ground zero had us all doubting our figures until newbie Geomum put us all to shame and made the remarkable discovery.

Thanks Mister Doctor for bringing us to a new part of town. We will be back another day to tackle a few of your others nearby.

Favourite added.

Caching buddies: Muggle Anshi

What a crafty idea for sushi fish!! Simply genius! Through this geocache, i explained the co-ordinate system to Anshi and how the numbers, we gathered, lead us to gz. I must say, Anshi is picking up geolingo very quickly!
This FP is from both of us!

Thank you Mister Doctor, for creating, placing and maintaining this cache. I have enjoyed finding it and visiting this spot.

Strolling around Deakin doing the Art Lover Whereigo and thought I would explore Gardiners Creek Reserve and pick up a few more caches. What a clever idea. Loved this one. TFTC

Before approaching GZ I had to grab some water, so I headed for the creek nearby. Back at posted coords I soon found the container and inspected it before adding the Di-hydrogen oxide. I wasnt sure what was going to happen so there was nothing for it but to pour away! Then I saw the beauty of this cache and the numbers were revealed - awesome! Just as I was finishing up an old lady walked past with her dog - what was she doing back here? Oh well, she didnt seem to care! At GZ I surprisingly made a very quick find - that could/should have taken a lot longer! Great fun Mr Dr, fave from me!

What an interesting idea. We read a few of the posts prior to starting this one and arrived at GZ sort of knowing what to expect. Cool idea and soon we had the information needed. We arrived at GZ and had to wander around a bit before understanding the hint and putting it to use. Ah...there it is as the geoson found it. Thanks,

In an attempt to piece together a caching streak of 7 days for a souvenir I attempted this cache...this is day 65...only 1 more to go.

After parking I mage my way to the posted coordinates. Although the sun was shining the nip in the air had curtailed the muggle activity so I was able to do what I had to...I followed the title advice and BYO water.

With the GZ now identified I made my way there. After walking in circles for a few minutes I honed in on one spot. SL TFTC.

Back in the Deakin area and this superb park for the geodog. I came to see why this multi was awarded as on verge of releasing another myself. The Off lead area is great for my girl but for the start I found a half hour park close to published coordinates. I left dog in cool car and went to find the first stage. Had a sinking feeling for 5 mins as I could not locate it - then common sense came in and I found what was meant to be found. Armed with my water I created the magic on density , closed the contraption and gave it a small shake. On opening again the coordinates revealed themselves quite cleverly. Mister Doctor what a concept. Back to the car and moved close to GZ, I parked in a familiar car park and set off to find the final. Geodog helped me this time. A bit of wandering around and thinking where a cache would be Then I realised the hint and soon found a dry log. Fav from me Mister Doctor again and another jewel to me.

Brilliantly crafted for a simple but effective puzzle, worthy of an FP. Had got GZ coords a week ago and decided to collect the prize today. Using GPS, coords were spot on for an instant find despite the camo. Then checked using my phone and it was 6 metres off. Another lesson learned. TFTC

Escaped from home on my own today after a day of housework. Had a couple close to home that was to clear out. This is my second go at this one and still needed to PAF. Such a busy place at starting point it was like a dog mega. Getting late so drove to GZ. Thanks for your continued effort Mister Doctor.

This was an awesome cache, well deserving of its status as Best Multi Cache of 2018. One of the fish objected to all the water, but after a bit of a shoggle he did co-operate and we were soon on our way to GZ. Thanks for the cache, a favourite for us.

Another eastern suburbs appointment; another cache find outside my immediate 'hood. This orange icon just around the corner seemed promising enough and it turned out to be a variant I've not seen before. Which is always cool. I momentarily wondered whether I'd transcribed the coordinates correctly upon reaching what I hoped was GZ. But... It really was GZ, I was happy to discover. Hopefully I got away with all my loitering in the vicinity of residences. Smile Thanks once again Mister Doctor!

Out and about putting some smiles on the map, I can understand why this cache received a award in the 2018 cache awards.
Absolutely love the process of finding the required numbers, this Co is certainly raising the bar in hides latley.
Favorite point for sure.

*10 Mar 2019, Found @ 5:32 pm, Find # 9013.*

I was back in the area again today, this time with jascat to find a few more caches along the Gardeners creek trail, this being one of them.
I have been wanting to give this one ago for sometime now but I haven’t really been near it until today but even then I didn’t realise it was in this group of caches that we were finding today so we weren’t prepared with the required tool to complete the task.
I was just about to head back to the car to get something but a quick scan of the area and I soon had a carrier for the tool.
We had now completed the task at hand which showed as the coordinates for the final GZ so off we went.
Once there, we started looking around and shortly after I had unturned a very nice hide.

**Thanks to Mister Doctor for placing this cache.**
