Quick find of container, no sheet there. Placed a log sheet in container , after stamping and replaced. Thanks to CO

No idea what the title was so I googled it while I was walking. Still took the cache in hand before I realised just what it meant.THanks for the hunt greytiger
Very brief Melbourne interlude - The First Day.Weather - perfect. One of six caches found within walking distance of Thomastown Station.I lived in Germany briefly as a child, and although I never really learned German, I have enough for a head start here. I was pretty sure what I was looking for and it didnt take long to find. Where I live was heavily settled by German Lutheran migrants in the mid 1800s. Thanks for the cache greytiger.
Coordinates changed from:S 37 40.635 E 145 0.442Coordinates changed to:S 37 40.642 E 145 0.445Distance from original: 45.0 feet or 13.7 meters.Due to the cache going missing, Iv'e changed the location slightly, it's still a bison tube camouflaged to suit new hiding place.Greytiger
The container has gone, so I'll replace it in a couple of days, I may shift it very close to original site.Greytiger
A need for a walk plus school holidays saw me travel up to Thomastown. Normally traffic is utterly atrocious and whilst it wasn't as good as Easter proper I managed to make it up here in less than an hour. I consider that a win when travelling the south-north, north-south corridor. Once I had arrived and put on some sunscreen (best not to spend over 2 hours in the sun without it) I began searching out caches placed near and along the creek. My logs will include this standard blurb and then a comment or two about each cache separated from this blurb by a dividing line. Many thanks to the CO for placing these, even the ones that were a DNF - they're there but defeated me this time. I'll be back for a closer look at the DNFs and the last couple along the path another time - potentially the next school holidays.___I needed the translation and the benefit of a log to have the penny drop re the altitude. Once that had been adjusted it was a fairly quick find in a logical spot. Loving the belt and braces approach when it comes to keeping the cache container attached to the camo. I've never seen that arrangement.
Went caching out the in the northern 'burbs this morning trying to beat the extreme heat forecast later on this afternoon. Had a fair idea what I was looking for from the hint. After the GPS settled it didn't take too long to spot the very camoed cache.
I found this cache today on my Mega Walk #15 - a 36,600 step walk from Lalor, through Thomastown and on to Fawkner. On the way back from the previous cache, I asked Siri to translate "Kleiner Stein", which she tried to do from English into Spanish. Then it took me ages to finally get what I really wanted. At GZ, the cricket match nearby did not disturb my lengthy search. Thanks from D B-A
Our gps was still on holiday, after a bit of poking around there was and the all too familiar, here you are!
No luck with this one as there are limits to how far I will put my hand into dark holes...
A little chilly and wet today but thankfully a quick find was had here. Thanks greytiger for the cache.

Second of a Thomastown trio for me today. It took a good hard look at the hint but after that, I was finally signing the log at 16:05.
TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks greytiger.

I must be getting old, the cache was there all the time it was pushed in a little further (a hint).
All good to go again.

Kleiner Stein has been muggled after all this time. I will replace it in a couple of days and maybe shift it a couple of meters so I/ll get new co-ordinates.

Out on a whim with miss 9 and 8 trying for FTF on sitting on the bench. Decided to try our luck with this one while muggles moved on. Drove as close as we could and realised how much of a hop it would be for miss 9 but she was up for the challenge and miss 8 wanted to give the ace slide a go. After a bit of investigation and lining myself up with where I thought it might be miss 8 was down the hill in a flash. I contemplated whether it was too much to scale the slope and miss 9 decided the faceplant was not worth it. So she sat on the footpath and I joined miss 8. After a scope around for a decent 10 minutes I realised I was about 20m off GZ. Miss 8 was at the playground and we had fielded 2 sixes from the nearby cricket match. One I found out later missed miss 9 by millimetres as it whooshed past her head and landed in the creek. I found what I thought might be G.Z and had a bit of a search but was a bit wary of wiggly sticks. I got up the incline with more ease than I anticipated just as six number 3 headed our way! After a quick dose of static at the playground we headed back to the safety of the car. And back to sitting on the bench. How long does it take to look unsuccessfully for this cache and have a quick play?
8 overs, 2 wickets 54 runs or 35 minutes. Will be back for this one. TFTC in a spot we had never been on our doorstep. Must walk doggos here. Also enjoyed the chat with local young lady who will be 81 next week and looked closer to my age rather than nearly double.

Did this one with Geo hubby. So glad he was here. We spend about 15-20 minutes searching high and low. Was almost at give up point when he found it. Even now I think if it was just me I would have missed it. Thank you!
Suscoe was having a day out in Melbourne before heading to a music concert this evening.
The weather was still in this cold and rainy Summer mode.
It was an enjoyable day to be out and about with reasonable traffic to deal with.
Thanks to greytiger for this hide. the creek was flowing well today.

On the way home and noticed a couple of caches I had yet to find. I like how you have attached the container to its camo. Thank you greytiger for placing and maintaining Kleiner Stein for us to find today.

So we actually found this one on Sunday but as we were headed back to the car I stacked it pretty good and injured myself. We were in the area looking for drive to caches when we noticed j forgot to log this one. So sorry!
I hate camo bisons but this was a surprise. Firstly you must use the hint or like me you will be searching high and low for the wrong container. TFTC
Another cache with three months since the last find.
A short stroll from the 'Hole In The Wall' and guess what?
This could almost use the same title. lol
A few muggles up in the playground and the local footy team training on the oval but very quiet and secluded at GZ. Cache found in the second place that I looked.
All in good order here greytiger. Thank you.

Out and about today with echidna44 escaping for our first time since lock down. Ventured North to continue our clear out of the area. Very chilly morning today. Parked at the library and just completed one and made the nice walk to make the easy find. Thanks for the cache greytiger
Out with xambo4u for our first day of caching since the covid lockdown, we felt free again.
A walk in the wind, and a short search, soon found the well hidden cache. Thanks greytiger.

A trickier geocache that the first as this one we found about 9m from where the GPS was saying that we should look, but we found it and that's what counts.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for placing these geocaches here for us to find today.

I enjoyed the walk tonight to find this cache. The footy players were in a huddle to one side of the ground. Families were in the playground with granddad having their own meeting near the play ground. A lady walking back and forth between two points - she must know how many laps make up her dsily steps as she was on the phone the whole time! The phones GPS was playing up a bit but finally settled so I could do d the cache.

After finding the new cache that was published just yesterday I decided to find a couple more newer ones since I was last over this way.
I made my way into here and noticed that pre season training for the local footy has already started lucky them.
I googled the translation of the cache name and it all made sense to me then.
Just had to wait out a couple of muggles who were out enjoying the afternoon sun and going for a walk.
Soon added my name to the log and I was on my way.
Thanks greytiger TFTC.

Haven't had a chance to log this until now. Out with Gunks a few weeks ago. Went for a wander along the trail and back by road. Didn't find everything we searched for but found this one. Bumped into some other cachers at GZ. TFTC
Out and about last night finding a few cache. Covered just over 10km in total and a variety of finds plus a bunch of dnfs! Bumped int a couple of geocachers too which is always fun. Thanks for the little adventure.
Bumped into some fellow catchers while out on a nighttime change adventure. TFTC
And here I thought stein was to do with beer. Good lesson out on a balmy night.
After sorting out my family and work issues that have occupied my time over the past few months I had a free day today and so exercise and geocaching was my aim.
I parked at the library (mainly to make use of their toilets) and then walked along the path to this cache. It was a quick find without attracting the attention of the many muggles who were enjoying the nearby playground and paths.
Thank you greytiger for this cache.

Looked this one up on Google on our approach to the gz to get some idea what l was in for. With that sorted it was a case of getting on the right angle to spot this sneaky little hide, my co-ord's were off a little but there were only so many spots to hide it. Thanks again greytiger for the hide and for bringing us out this way.
Found @08:20 after a quick brush up on my high school German and a pleasant walk from the hole in wall where it was nice to see a well flowing drain free of the rubbish that usually seems to clog these kinds of areas. A quick find when approached from the right angle. TFTC!
Nice quite area, only other person around the man mowing the oval,
Soon found the cache, and signed log, good hide.

Nice camo. The cache was stuck in its spot pretty well. But with a bit of wiggling it was set free!.. thanks for the cache!
I had a fair idea what I was looking for, and it did not disappoint me. Good hide in the middle of suburbia.
This cache was not quite what I expected but good nonetheless. A bit of a hunt around was had before the find. TFTC.

Another lovely night for a ride on the trails after a lazy day. This time, those trails took me almost past the back of the house my grandmother owned... though a few streets have been added since being able to see the creek from her back fence when we were kids, and some of the descendents of those original German settlers were members of our local Youth Club when I was a leader there.
We still visit the library here, as it has a better range of books than our local municipality.
Getting to the cache coordinates was a nice easy ride, though there was that small hurdle at the end.
Another cleverly placed cache and choice of container, greytiger. Cheers.

Another county under our belt and a cool little international cache. SS3325 always a fan of all things German was keen to have been out hunting for this Tftc
Down in Melbourne for the Parkville Mega. After a detour to Geelong for a wedding yesterday I am back for some caching fun today! Travelling with Minniek, fitzy_1965, B0tmun, Lovetherabbitohs, death killer & my_name_jeff_1 & sneakysquirrel3326 out to Mt Disappointment with a few little extras to get me mine and sneakysquirral3326’s first 100 in a day! And I reached my 2000th cache - what a day! Tftc.

I'll be coming back for this one. I reckon I'm in the right spot, but just can't seem to locate it with the impatient kids!
I have no idea what Kleiner Stein meant and no smart device to find out. So I looked instead the old fashioned way and there it was.
Thanks greytiger

Studied German at school so know what it means, didnt make the search any easier.
Fortunately I learnt, sort of, a certain language at school Once at GZ the cache was soon found.
Finally had time to come and sign this Cache after finding it a few weeks back. Today is another typical Melbourne day with blue sky and poring rain. We managed to time our find and stayed dry. TFTC
A nice wander and search with the geodog. One of the geokids went off the the nearby park while we searched. It took a little before we spotted it. We were tempted to google the name but didn't need to. Signed and returned, cache in good order. Thanks,
It was a long day of getting a number of caches in the area in out for a run attempting to get the 100 caches for the hidden creatures souvenir.

Lovely bit of sunshine after the thick fog this morning so thought I’d have a short walk out this way and gather some caches. No trouble with the translation or find. Nicely hidden and camouflaged. TFTC
Found on a lovely morning while walking a few tracks around Thomastown, I was looking a bit higher than where the hide is, but soon had the level needed, and the clever disguise soon appeared, log signed and returned to resting place, Thanks greytiger, another great day in the sun and outdoors
A nice little hide. I think the East coords may still be out a little but located the spot okay.
