Thanks for the cache 2y'stassies.I've been keen to explore this area since the MTB development, and now there is a lovely series of caches as well. With an hour or so to spare, the two GeoGSP's and I headed off to see how many we could find before it was time to head to our accommodation. This was a nice quick find at GZ. Really enjoyed the walk in this area. We have a few more to do, so will be back.
After going Bells Oarade park run I decided to do a cheeky 5 caches on the way back to Spreyton. Well it wasnt really on the way back but still who needs an excuse.Found this one on the path side of tree it was filled with water but log book dry. Emptied water and then rehid as per the hint TFTC 2ystassies

This will be my last cache in Tasmania before I sail back to the mainland later tonight.
I arrived here in the middle of March and have successfully found over 600 caches all over Tassie.
I have walked through ancient forests, visited even old remnants of glaciers, climbed mountains, looked at calm lakes, listened to bubbling brooks, seen all sorts of cute fluffy creatures, met some new friends and spent time with old friends, all up, it has been a most magical adventure.
There is still more to see, visit and caches to find, so I will have to come back

Went the hard way up a wallaby trail to find the nest, crispy morning out with rhubarbroad
Four of us spent 20mins searching. I feel silly not finding it when everyone else has
Another fun find in the bush...found with TieDyeSmileys.

Hi 2y'stassies
Slowing rounding up the MTM series with a trek out to the Warrawee area to find the 2 caches required for todays souvenir.
Wasn't long before arriving at the first cache.
The cache was all ok and still totally dry.
Quite a pleasant walk along the road with dappled shade and the Mersey river so close.
Murder was itching to get going again as he hasn't been out here before.
Many thanks for another cache in the lovely MTM series, thoroughly appreciated.....cheers ST.

This was strange. The container and all the contents were dry and in good condition. The logbook was in a sealed plastic bag and was quite damp - still signable on pages that could be opened. However, having gone there, we replaced the logbook and the cache is already again.
On my lunch break while in Devonport for work. I popped out to this cache and found it. The log book was wet through and unsignable. I made a mark the best I could

After staying in Sheffield for a very quiet New Year's Eve we headed off with Tassie Trekkers to find a few more caches on the way to and in the forestry area around Railton and Latrobe and this was one of them. Lots of muggles around today. A great spot for a cache. TFTC
Meandering up the Mersey today, and grabbed this one as a last log for the morning. We realise now we still have 6 or 7 MTM's still to log which will require a more protracted sortie another day. TFTC 2y'stassies.
TaurusSix and the came to try our luck spotting platypus. We spotted this cache easily enough.
Afterwards we managed to see two or three (the jury's still out) platypus.

come through this morning with the hubby who was going exploring nearby with mates. While they explored i went caching. Found at 08.30. everything in excellent condition.
Our first cache in Tassie this trip. We had driven from Launceston to have lunch with someone in Ulverstone and they suggested we visit this area to try and spot platypus. We didn't manage to see any but we did enjoy the walk beside the river. Of course an added bonus was getting a couple of caches. Thanks for placing this here. Eatmorchikin from Brisbane
Being such a nice day I decided to catch up on caches yet to be found in the Latrobe area. This was another bit of Tasmanian history that I was not aware of so thank you for placing this cache that brought me here.
Today gridge98 and I headed to the North west to do the moorland trail, another trail in Devonport and a few around Latrobe. A great day out, this cache was found along the way.
Apologies for the late and generic log.
Thanks for the cache

A long way down the track to this cache but such a nice area, cache was a nice and easy find
Today nettieknows and myself headed to the Mersey/Devonport area to collect some new and unfound caches in the area. We tackled the new moorland series, Victoria bridge to town series and a few around Latrobe. It’s great to get out and about in such a time we live in.

Odd style of caching trip and run with code 1, not done this before with two cars and the partners in toe. Still was not long before a happy routine was established and away we went, chasing caches as we travelled the TT towards Dover.
We covered a fair way one day one staying at Liffey falls, followed by Jones river at Hamilton and then onto white, beach.
OK so we got a little side tracked.

This cache was found on our tour along part of the TT from Devonport to New Norfolk.
Lots of backroads were travelled and some great vistas and campsites found along the way.
As Tassie does turn on the weather at times we encountered all 4 seasons in a day on 2 of the days and enjoyed every moment of it.
Thanks to all the CO's for placing the caches we found.

I found this cache with chickenman21 on the 11th. The hint was helpful and cache was in good condition. TFTC
The hint was a good and helpful hint. Easy to find as well but a bit steep to get up.
After a walk with the extended family to try to see a platypus (futile really with 2yo and 4yo nephews along) we found this one. The 4yo was so excited about the treasure (we made sure) he found. Cache is in good condition.
We were debating what the flying fox was actually for. After reading your description we know a bit more. Lots of mountain bikers round on this long Australia Day weekend A great stroll to collect the caches in the area. Thank you.
In the area with Tronador and we had some time to pay a visit to this reserve. Nice stroll along the river on this rather muggy day. Pleasant spot.
Beautiful walk along the river after a trip to Latrobe. Sir Altaire found this one
We just arrived by Spirit of Tasmania after a very bumpy crossing. The first place we visit is always Warawee Reserve to visit the platypus. Found your cache at 7am. Very pleased to have some new caches here to find. Thanks for the cache
Cool find in an area I’ve started working in. Master Geo kid on the find today.

Always looking for somewhere to walk the geomutts and today we decided to revisit this track that we have walked on many occasions previously. We have also cached up here before and we were wondering when some caches would reappear in the area after the previous ones disappeared - probably in the 1916 floods.
The cache was quickly found after a very short bush bash. There is no geotrail to this one yet!!!
Thanks.
