Geosis too quick for me nice hide and easy to find. Enjoyed this track thanks for bringing me here TFTC
Great, I was after fridge magnets traded and left somethingThanks for the CacheFind#224Search/SL Time=Today Found/DNF=5/1
Thanks for the cache 2y'stassies.On the way back to Hobart, we decided to stop here so the GeoGSP's could take another stroll along the walking track here beside the river. It was another sunny day, but much cooler this afternoon. This was an nice quick find at GZ. Cache is in good condition.
We are finally getting around to walking this track with all the newer recent caches placed quickly found the cache has it wasnt very well covered and then a car drove past me! I wasnt aware cars come on the path Thanks for the find Phil and sue!
After going Bells Oarade park run I decided to do a cheeky 5 caches on the way back to Spreyton. Well it wasnt really on the way back but still who needs an excuse.Decided this was the furthest I could justify walking to on this little detour. nice quick find and sign. TFTC 2ystassies
Nice bit of dappled sun where this one was nestled- had to dodge two muggles and one dog
Out this morning with daughter (who has just upgraded to premium membership) and Mrs rhubarbroad for a few caches. Very cool start, but we fixed that by having coffees in Latrobe before hand. First search was a bust. Obviously (now) swept away in the floods and not replaced. This MTM is one of several in the series which has been waiting a long time for us to visit. Vartisor did the honours and we both signed the log. All in good nick and dry. TFTC 2y'stassies.
Cache was in plain sight and container open. Have covered it up a bit but not sure if in correct location
Hi 2y'stassies
After finding the previous cache we must have been absorbed in the surroundings as when I checked the gpsr we had overshot gz a tad.
When I saw the cache location it was hard to fathom how it could have got 14m away as per previous log unless someone had picked it up.
Anyhow, the cache was in good nick...it had a torn ziploc inside but the log was in another ziploc but it was left undone.
As I had a couple of ziplocs with me, I double bagged both this cache and the previous cache as well.
Both Murder and myself thoroughly enjoyed the trek in and out....many thanks for another top MTM cache....very much appreciated....cheers ST.

Wow, this place has certainly changed since we were here last, about 20 years ago.
Luckiy we approached this cache from the upstream side as the cache was actually just out in the open on the side of the road about 14m from GZ.
Found a cache size depression at GZ that we returned it to

Easy to find once we found the tree
With a candle swap inside it gave a nice scented vibe to the cache experience

Today we completed some more of the MTM series that we found with whitewebbs. We have been in this area before and great to revisit again.
Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

After staying in Sheffield for a very quiet New Year's Eve we headed off with Tassie Trekkers to find a few more caches on the way to and in the forestry area around Railton and Latrobe and this was one of them. A lovely spot for a cache and a walk. TFTC
come through this morning with the hubby who was going exploring nearby with mates. While they explored i went caching. everything in excellent condition
A lovely walk out to this cache. No platypus were spotted but we had the place to ourselves and could walk along in peace. It was a very pretty spot indeed to visit. TFTC. .. .. eatmorchikin from Brisbane
Being such a nice day I decided to catch up on caches yet to be found in the Latrobe area. This was another bit of Tasmanian history that I was not aware of so thank you for placing this cache that brought me here. I would have liked to have visited the area prior to the 1916 floods.
Riding along quick find
Today gridge98 and I headed to the North west to do the moorland trail, another trail in Devonport and a few around Latrobe. A great day out, this cache was found along the way.
Apologies for the late and generic log.

A long way down the track to this cache but such a nice area, cache was a nice and easy find
Today nettieknows and myself headed to the Mersey/Devonport area to collect some new and unfound caches in the area. We tackled the new moorland series, Victoria bridge to town series and a few around Latrobe. It’s great to get out and about in such a time we live in.

Easy find with Lekker_Ding.
Nice walk. Saw a tiger snake down the track but no platypus today. Thanks 2y'stassies

Odd style of caching trip and run with code 1, not done this before with two cars and the partners in toe. Still was not long before a happy routine was established and away we went, chasing caches as we travelled the TT towards Dover.
We covered a fair way one day one staying at Liffey falls, followed by Jones river at Hamilton and then onto white, beach.
OK so we got a little side tracked.

This cache was found on our tour along part of the TT from Devonport to New Norfolk.
Lots of backroads were travelled and some great vistas and campsites found along the way.
As Tassie does turn on the weather at times we encountered all 4 seasons in a day on 2 of the days and enjoyed every moment of it.
Thanks to all the CO's for placing the caches we found.

After a walk with the extended family to try to see a platypus (futile really with 2yo and 4yo nephews along) I continued solo as the boys had had enough walking and we did see a platypus, unfortunately it was motionelss in a stagnant pool. Cache was located and signed where we returned to the local town for lunch and a coffee where we actually spotted a live platypus
A quick easy find. We haven’t been up here since the 2016 floods. Your caches never disappoint. Thanks
Continuing our short walk alongside the river we soon came to this cache. A nice area for a stroll.
We walked on to this cache and turned around here as we were off to lunch at the Chocolate factory nearby. I thoroughly enjoyed the the short walk along this beautiful part of the river.

Just finishing a mornings ride around the tracks here and thought there would have to be a cache in the vicinity somewhere I could find before I leave, and surely enough here it is.
A beautiful spot along the river here, not only many people making use of the mountain bike park but also plenty of fisherman about trying their luck. Personally I would have thought the sun would be too high up and warm in the day to catch anything, maybe they know better.
TNLN , TFTC , Cheers.

Ron Hilditch introduced us to this area in 2014 and to the amazing platypus. It was one of those life changing moments, up there with watching turtle hatchlings return to the sea in Qld. We spent hours watching these platypus at dawn and dusk, and revisited soon after the 2016 floods to see the devastation. Fortunately the platypus still showed themselves and entertained us until dark. We arrived a bit later than planned this morning. Such a peaceful and special place, but no platypus sightings at the Billabong this morning. We were surprised at the health of the water, even though the mess has been cleaned up.
Thanks for including the history of the area in your cache description. This is a truly remarkable place with very treasured memories.
As we walked towards the car along the river walking tracks we spotted a platypus. We were so encouraged. We will be back. Thanks for the cache.

Coordinates a little off, but could just be the hill and tree cover, and the fact that we use Cachebot app on mobile. But found fairly quickly. TFTC.
After finding River Transport we continued walking along the road till we reached this cache. It too was quickly found and then we continued to the end of the road where the geomutts had a drink and one of them a swim. Such a great area still. Pity dogs have to be on leads but then it is a nature reserve.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Yah first person to find this cache in a beautiful spot. Nice morning for a walk. Great hide. Thanks
