Found TFTC, didn't see a rugby player anywhere, but seams to have left his pants behind
Knowing cococlay123 enjoys rugby I asked if he knew what the title might stand for, he did narrow down where he had seen it and I explained after he had found the cache at the prominent location.T F T C Phronimos.A teachers only day and pretty good, if a little cold, weather saw us head out to find a few caches. The original plan was three and maybe a forth but at the first cache we discovered I had not updated my list in a while so after the first find I updated it and found the third and forth caches we had planned on were now archived - thankfully they were the last and not the first caches to be found! So the plan changed to two for me and three for cococlay123 before a playground and an extra cache.
Geocache is missing so I've replaced it entirely. **You don't need to go anywhere near any 'cliff',** even though there's no cliff as such nearby.Good to go again.
Great little treasures - kids like the bunny- was a little wet inside, so tried to seal it up right.
Seems I have reached the end of this neat trail, but not without finding one last cache while I'm here. Thanks for bringing me down this way, cheers
Didn't spot anyone doing any secret training today although there was someone's t-shirt on the ground near GZ so they could have been being ultra secret and hiding
The log as mentioned was a little damp but we had no issue's signing it.
Thanks for putting this here for us to find

Walking down the Waiwakaiho walkway searching for geocaches. Cool hide. Second find of the day. #186. TFTC.
Okay, that's just a little odd.... Plotted out the track and have since added it to the map.
Day fourteen of Taybeedragon's and my big 3 week circumnavicaching trip around Mt Taranaki, starting from Palmerston North. Today is wandering about New Plymouth. It's Boxing Day! Merry Christmas everyone!!
Highlights:
* 3 weeks, 536 caches
* Mt Taranaki had been removed for washing, which was a bit of a shame. Even after it had been returned we were only allowed to see it for it was less than half an hour a day.
* High percentage of caches with crappy coordinates
* Amazing Pukekura Park
* AMAZING Pukekura Park light show!
* Pukeiti Gardens
* Lots of cache maintenance!
***[======== NZ Mega 2020 ========](http://nzmega.com)***
Planning for the [NZ Mega 2020](http://nzmega.com) event is well underway. It will be held in Auckland over Labour Weekend, 23 to 26 October 2020. It's going to be a massive celebration of geocaching:
* 20 years of geocaching worldwide.
* 20 years since New Zealand had the very first geocache hidden outside of USA.
* And it's 2020 - all the 20s!
Talk to your geo-friends and start planning to be part of [this event](https://coord.info/GC87777) - you won't want to miss it!

Enjoying walking along this track beside the river. Another one snagged and tagged. Cheers
Day 14 - Boxing Day, Thursday 26 December. Around New Plymouth again today then started moving north. .
The Seagnoid, Zara, Toby and I are spending Christmas exploring Taranaki via geocaching. Its been an amazing 3 week adventure. Rattls BBQ was a great event, meeting many other cachers. But also managed to fit in a few more events, especially New Years Day celebrating the start of 2020. Lots of caches - over 500. Lots of cache maintenance. Lots and lots of kilometers. And lots of amazing places visited along our journey. Mt Taranaki remained elusive for much of our travels and the caches on it at the top. Loved Pukekura Park Night Lights Show and the the Wooden Mechanical toy exhibition at NP Info centre.

Not quite sure what I was going to find here but it was pretty obvious from a distance, what a neat little spot I would never have known about if it were not for geocaching.
What a neat little outing today was, well worth the pain I am sure I will get later from my ongoing foot issue. Fav point awarded for the neat spot.

Out and about on a rainy Saturday, doing the local round to complete the gem series of the Mystery of the Museum Challenge, All good at GZ, cache dry. Not sure I would cross the river today.. Many thanks for the cache. Blenheim Bear
Super Quick and easy. Knew where to look straight away. Nice and dry.
Took the TB cos it was here when Juliusfamily found this one in March. TFTC

Arrived in New Plymouth this afternoon and located three caches on our river walk late in the day. This was the last of of them. I got sent down to the river to look for it, only to hear a call from Mrs tbird – at the upper level – that she’d found it. Only at that point did the TRFU aspect make some sort of sense! #2214. TFTC.
Yes, the title did make sense, but the reason for it is still a mystery. Easy find. Cache is all good. TFTC
Quick trip away with tmann421
Container found after a lovely short walk along this track

A Sunday walk along the river bank, not a bad way to pick up a few caches and populate another empty calender day in my stats.
Straight forward find.
Cheers

as the weather sunny and warm i decided today was a good day to go for a little walk along this part of the walkway which i had never been.
I am very unsure what they train for her at this spot but the dogs certainly liked it . there is alot of water in the river .
the cache was soon in hand signed and replaced with out the muggles being aware of my actions.
thank you for this cache, another smiley face and another cache for the magical creatures souvenir.

The river was running well after heavy rain. Frost lay on the ground so gloves would have been of use to thaw the fingers out. A straightforward find. tftc
Quick find with the mini cachers. Swapped a travel bug. Then spent a pleasant hour nearby throwing rocks into the river. Tftc
Training needed so went hard to get this to get my regular trek in thanks TFTC nice easy find and must remember to bring a TB if I'm this way again
Luckily there was still some daylight! Must return in better weather - I would be able to appreciate the trees and birdsong a whole lot more - even today it was a great walk. Thanks, Phronimos, for making me go to another new bit of NP. A fave
{FTF} So we used our common sense and attempted this find on a terrible rainy day A break in the weather and a nice walk past all the horses soon found us at GZ. River was raging but no where near cache site so a quick find by the girls. TFTC
A joint {FTF} with trayc.g. Wasn’t too keen for a hunt today because of the weather but the promise of a frozen slushie from McD’s after won me over. TFTC
