On our way from Sydney to Melbourne we stopped also here in Morwell. Though it was such a rainy day, we made a little tour in this park. And got some caches as well. Tftc! Greetings from Finland!
Time for an afternoon walk with a purpose. I managed to find a collection of caches in the area. Thank you for creating a great set of hides. This cache was in good condition.
There is a burn off in the area so have taken offline until can get in and inspect. CJJAHC
This Geocacher reported that the cache is not in the best condition and in need of maintenance
Our third cache on a nice and sunny afternoon. Our next cache after spotting the snake so we were very cautious with our hunt.Cache was quite damp and has been stripped of all swag. Would be best off replaced.Nonetheless, it was a great hunt that we all enjoyed. TFTC Team Loesch TNLNSL TFTC
Found one and the red lid and an old log, last and only visable signature on 16/1/24We put them together.TFTC and entertainment
Looking to stretch my legs after work during this quick overnight visit. It looks like I can get most of the trads in town in one spot. Cool.I found this one easily but it was just a lid with a loose log sheet underneath. TFTC
Grabbing some caches on a the trip to High country. An early morning walk through Crinigan Bushland ReserveThanks Team Loesch
Day two of a short trip into Gippsland with the deadly treadly for some caches. This morning I started in Morwell at the Crinigan Bushland Reserve.I seemed to have most of the park to myself. A nice ride around the parkI didn't see any Kookaburra's in the park today, but I did find the cache. Thanks, Robmc.
11:51Based in Traralgon for a couple of days gave us the opportunity to explore the local area instead of just driving past heading for Bairnsdale. Crinigan Bushland Reserve was a great opportunity for walking and caching. The detailed cache notes gave us the feeling of being in an aviary with the birds - magic!**FEEDBACK TO CO:** We took the liberty of adding the GC ID details to the log, as it was bare. Thanks to Team Loesch for creating this fabulous series. 35767
Came back to have another look as I had to walk pass it anyway.
Found the cache lid so I have bout a new log under the lid
So I calling it a find.
But it does need replacing.
See pic of lid.

Found the lid but the container has gone. Looked everywhere in the bush for it.
Pyruslex found a lid that looks like its been painted and was under a fern in the open. I think this one was muggled. I thought I'd found the hiding spot but it was empty. After much looking couldn't container or anything else.
The kookaburras are around the other side of reserve today! But we found this cache in a nice spot and pays to find the right way in!

Finally I managed a quick find, helps when you approach from a specific direction. TFTC and great little bus lane series - although I’ll be pulling grass seeds out of my socks for hours!!
Had a bit of a break lately from the old geocaching, but had a couple hours to spare in morwell today! So here we go. Tnln TFTC
Out and about with Au.fait with the aim to collect the Crinigan reserve caches.Had to disregard the GPS on this one and just use our Geo senses.
Having a wonderful day caching in the delightful company of Tiz13. We targeted the caches in the Crinigan Reserve and a few others as we do. I really enjoyed walking in this lovely resurrected bushland area and so pleased there is a friends group caring for it. On a roll here TFTC Team Loesch
Out for a new year caching session, despite the heat it was a good day. Good day to be out as there was no else here. Nice cache and a quick find

Tftc Team Loesch. A mild Monday afternoon after boxing day and time for a break from the jigsaw puzzling. What better way than hunt out a few caches in the area and get a run in with geohound in tow. A very successful 6 out of 6 and within a 3.2 k circuit, All quick finds too.
Had to bring my bike to Morwell to get fixed and thought it would be nice to do a little geocaching while I wait. What a gorgeous spot this is. A lovely walk. Thank you for bringing me here.
Another bit of bush bashing to get to but I just followed previous trails. Amazing how those trails stay flattened for so long.
Tftc i had a lovely outing here

Another one I wanted to check today but with a relatively new log in place now, I signed it today out walking with Mummy Short Legs, her Spiderlings and my Cranelets. The boys all took one item each and we replaced with four new ones.
Cache in place and log dry
Nice sunny winters day for a stroll and some cache maintenance

Doing some of this walk on the way home to Melbourne. This was an easy first find with some good views over the valley.
Nice and easy one. Having a good run without getting caught considering the amount of people walking. Tftc
We went the direct route. It was a bit bushy. Cache in good condition. Left another pathtag. TFTC
We came up to Morwell for the Hawthorn/St Kilda match this afternoon and after eating our lunch at the picnic shelter, we headed off to find the caches in this park before the match.
Kookaburra was next after a little bit more of a puff up the hill lol and JMelb found this one
By the way we heard Kookaburras about 6.30am the next morning at our holiday accommodation, was cool to hear then even though very early lol

While spending the day caching in this area, I was driving past this one and had to stop. Took a little while to find, but I got to it in the end.
Currently writing this log already drowned about a kilometer walk from my car, waiting and hoping for the rain to stop, so I can either keep caching or dash back to the car. Not looking hopeful.
Nice new log for me to sign.
Thanks for the cache Team Loesch

A new container in place as it seems someone has the need for a camo container but not the log itself.
Headed to Morwell today for an enjoyable walk around this reserve finding caches, I saw quiet a few birds in the area. I was a little puzzled as to what the photo location points were. Not sure what the go was here, all I found was the log book in a bag.
Thanks Team Loesch for the cache.

TFTC. We had had lunch in Morwell as we explored some of the area. While having coffee we spied this series of caches in the park. We parked at the entrance and then walked around the park, collecting caches as we went. Some bush bashing but not no bad. Found them all without too much difficulty. Thanks for putting these out and maintaining them to enhance our experiences in the area.
Fourth one at the start of a walk. We have previously collected all the ones in the reserve but now we are back to get the new ones.
I saw these caches in town last night, knowing we'd be in town today, so not knowing the area at all well, we found a park at the hospital and off we went.
What a great series these turned out to be, as parking where we did, we had no hill to contend with and enjoyed our walk around the park.
Thanks Team Loesch for the placement.

I great morning has been spent with JamieB12 collecting the caches in this lovely little park. The coords for this one were pretty bang on, so finding the cache was pretty easy. Thanks again for bringing us here.
We decided to cache the Crinigan Road Bushland Reserve today - we are so glad we did as during our 4.7 kilometre walk we found all the caches searched for and we also got to see 17 different species of birds and a possum, but sadly no Koala. We soon found this one once at Ground Zero. We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the cache and for having bought us to this lovely Nature Reserve. Greetings from Zimbabwe
Out caching with gwd.aussie and Sharon14. I started heading down the wrong path plus along with a bit of cache blindness it was thankful that we had 3 sets of eyes for this one.
Thanks Team Loesch
Thanks Team Loesch
didn't you just look here?

Today Mrs Ski had a morning shift at the hospital, and as she knew there was a hole for finds on Dec 6, she decided to grab yet another of Team Loesch's caches in this lovely little reserve. As today was one of the hottest yet for this summer, she wasn't too keen for a long walk in the bush and picked "Kookaburra" as it was the closet one to the hospital. As short walk, a quick look and she was soon signing the log. It wasn't too hot with the shade from the trees helping, but still not a great day for being outside for too long.
A great little series, and another good sized container. Thanks Team Loesch for another one in the series.

After travelling from Tassie overnight on The Spirit of Tasmania, we made our first stop at Morwell. It was good to get out of the car and enjoy walking around and exploring this very pleasant reserve. The most memorable feature were the birds - there were so many different species, all calling as we walked around.
Accurate coordinates led to a quick find of a cache hidden in a common style. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Team Loesch for this cache and the series.

A quick find here. Keeping an eye out for snakes. Might be too early still but it was warm and I had my fingers crossed.
Thanks for the cache

Since moving from New Zealand in 2016 I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches.
So far I’ve knocked off 4 of the states. VIC, SA, NSW and A.C.T all multiple times.
No two areas are the same here and almost every place I go to is stunning. The beauty of caching is that it takes you to so many places you would never usually find.
Thank you to all the cachers out there for hiding and maintaining their caches. Especially to those who put so much effort into creating unique and fun hides.
I enjoy finding well maintained caches in fun and unique cache containers. No one likes finding a mint tin – but a find is a find after all
Well she was an American girl
Raised on promises
She couldn't help thinkin' that there
Was a little more to life
Somewhere else
After all it was a great big world
With lots of places to run to
Yeah, and if she had to die
Tryin' she, had one little promise
She was gonna keep
Oh yeah, all right
Take it easy baby
Make it last all night
She was an American girl
Well, It was kind of cold that night
She stood alone on her balcony
She could hear the cars roll by
Out on 441
Like waves crashin' on the beach
And for one desperate moment there
He crept back in her memory
God it's so painful, when
Something that's so close
And still so far out of reach
Oh yeah, all right
Take it easy baby
Make it last all night
She was an American girl
Well I'm a-runnin' down the road try'n to loosen my load
I've got seven women on my mind
Four that want to own me, two that want to stone me
One says she's a friend of mine
Take it easy, take it easy
Don't let the sound of your own wheels drive you crazy
Lighten up while you still can
Don't even try to understand
Just find a place to make your stand, and take it easy
Well, I'm a standin' on a corner in Winslow, Arizona
Such a fine sight to see
It's a girl, my Lord, in a flat-bed Ford
Slowin' down to take a look at me
Come on, baby, don't say maybe
I gotta know if your sweet love is gonna save me
We may lose and we may win, though we will never be here again
So open up I'm climbin' in, so take it easy
Well, I'm a runnin' down the road tryin' to loosen my load
Got a world of trouble on my mind
Lookin' for a lover who won't blow my cover, she's so hard to find
Take it easy, take it easy
Don't let the sound of your own wheels make you crazy
Come on baby, don't say maybe
I gotta know if your sweet love is gonna save me
Oh, we got it easy
We oughta take it easy
Thanks for the cache

So happy to not have anymorw hills to climb lol after a quick breather we set off and found this snugged away in its hidden place tftc
What was to have been a quick weekend trip to Melbourne to accompany leafotwind on his 3,000th cache find (since I had also recently completed the Victorian Premiers whereigo ) became an 8 day trip because there was a CITO [^] at Traralgon the next day which then led to Mallacoota and the Snowy Mountain Highway [^] since I couldn't legally use the Great Alpine Road as I didn't have snow chains because the boring freeway back to Melbourne and then back to Shepparton didn't sound like fun
The first day, I met my sister in Bendigo as she waited for her semi to be unloaded and reloaded, so we went op shopping in the meantime[:X] From there it was off to Melbourne and the group find of the Victorian Premiers whereigo which had taken me to many spots in Victoria [^] Then the group slogged our way up a slippery, muddy slope [|)][xx(] to get a couple of simple drive by 4 x 4 caches (when the tracks are open) before caching on into the night
I made a find on a previous DNF at Moe then it was off to Clean Up a Creek at Traralgon [^] followed by finding some bloody good caches (both containers and reasons for placement) around the area with leafotwind, NoWorries andAlphaDeltaIndigo [:X], chatting to Crisp image as the group found Wherever I Lay My Hat before Rex and I left the group, walking in the Crinigan Road Bushland Reserve at dusk[^], seeing a huge Dr21 dredger once used for coal mining and now placed at Morwell, finding a tiny grave in the middle of a shopping area , finding my 1st 3D printed cache container and then it was off to the Lakes Entrance area and wandering out on the peninsula[^]
Seeing old RAAF airfields and radio bunkers, seeing tiny country towns and meeting some great people (including an almost muggle woman and her children in Mallacoota where she had previously looked for 1 cache and who may now get into geocaching properly [^]), seeing the sun rise while surrounded by kangaroos and standing on the eastern coast of Vic and chatting with Rollmatrix throughout my time in Mallacoota and Genoa
Spending a few hours chatting with a lovely truckie, Michael [:X], who was on a wood chip run to Canberra as we traversed the countryside in the dark (after I had apologised for slowing down his fully laden rig as Harry crawled his way up a hill ) then I pulled into Cooma for a break and an EC and also found a cache, Southern Cloud, about the aircraft accident and then accidentally ended up at another memorial cache, Southern Comfort, Southern Cloud or Southern Storm, later on in the trip
Seeing brumbies amongst the snow along the edge of the road at night in the mountains in NSW [^], seeing a thermal pool early in the morning with steam rising from it in the cold air and water plants growing up from the sandy bottom [^], seeing the grave of the alleged Man from Snowy River while finding the multi The Man from Snowy River - HCPPP [^] and then chatting to SciFiRulz who I managed to sneak in a quick visit with before heading home and finding The Highest Railway Station on the way
Over the 8 days there was 9 DNFs (although I did manage to find a few on my 2nd attempts ), 1 CITO event attended and a total of 111 cache finds including 3 FTFs
As I am about 8 months behind in logging, I'm resorting to template logs to catch up.
My heartfelt thanks to the COs who have placed some tricky, funny, exercise required, scary, interesting and devious caches in some amazing spots! [^]
Rex and I have had some amazing adventures and enjoyed some incredible moments thanks to this fantastic hobby
