13:44Lunch packed, water on board, ready for our final day of caching with Suscoe before heading back to Victoria. No luck with the $200, a neat cache awaited us with a quick find. Our thanks to 'Bushwalker53' for adding this cache to this series on thegeo-gameboard.37878*This log composed and published using Geocaching Swiss Army Knife (GSAK).*
Well another delightful day around Adealide with our good friends Phetlern. We enjoyed this wander and cache finding having a good chat as we went.Again we were impressed with the range of housing styles that we saw and the delightful street trees that adorn this city. The day was mostly fine with a little drizzle around lunch time, a cool breeze that kicked in after the drizzle but before and after that it was pretty good with some sunshine peeping through. Thanks to Bushwalker53 for this cache.
Out for an amazing 8K hike around Morialta, and now Im struggling through the suburbs, trying to find geocaches. No problem here.
Over this way after getting a nearby FTF, this one was too close to resist. Nice reserve, TFTC
Time for another crazy days caching with the cat, a warmish day enough to keep most parks and playgrounds muggle free and easier for searching, found after a short searchTFTC Bushwalker53
A lovely little walk where I also discovered a beautiful honesty stall!! Tftc! Sabo + JJ
What a lovely find in the suburbs. No idea there are so many hidden treasures. Thanks for the cache.
Found it with IT the Cable Guy. Cache is the same colour as I remember it being from when I first found with my alternate account. But it still it a good hiding spot but I will say this as a hint what barks but it makes no sound
TFTC. Cheeky workday find while on the road All safe and sound with quite a few swaps. Log book was a bit damp but still writeable.
Nice easy hide in a very pretty spot. Considered collecting dinner while here but decided not to risk it. TFTC
Found. Think the neighbour across the stream may of saw me wondering out , probably wondering what I was up to. TFTC
Bit spooky in the dark, but otherwise a nice easy finds to end the night on 5.
Literally found it after one minute of getting out the car was super easy.
Thank you to the geocache creator! I had so much fun hunting for the geocache. Me and My dad decided to sign up for geocaching and this geocache was the perfect one to find for our first geocache! Thank you so much!
I had a mate who lived nearby in my childhood so this little reserve brings back some memories.
Quick find once at GZ.
Thanks for the cache Bushwalker53.

In the neighbourhood, time on my hands.
I’ve been to London many times, and it occurs to me that I have no idea where Vine Street is. So I google it. It looks like a back alley near Piccadilly Circus. Have I found the right one?
The advertised pleasant walk to GZ is sullied by a dead magpie close to the final. The cache appears to be exactly as Cheezel1961 left it. I was expecting smaller, this seems a bit brazen, but it’s lasted almost 4 years, so why not.

Cache was sitting out in the open, so once logged signed, I covered it with some bark as camo

Took the dogs for a walk around the area and dropped into this cache. Found, with accurate coords. Signed the log.
Taking a bit of time for cache maintenance this week and cleaning up the needs maintenance logs. Arrived here tonight to find all’s in order thanks to kind cachers drying the container out. Happy hunting!
Again the advantage of geocaching in that you discover beautiful spots you didn't know were there. Easy find,
Lovely park, had to dodge a few spider webs else all good.
Nice to see swaps inside!

There is a Vine Street not far from home.

Stay safe and enjoy the fruit of the vine
Needing to spend some time at muggle partner's to help with his mum, who'd had a bad fall a while ago, I had planned to go caching with erine14 today
I'd vaguely thought of going South again but my plans were totally derailed by a newly published cache at Wistow
Grabbing erine14, I set Nuvi for Wistow but it decided the freeway was the best option[?] so when I pulled over to argue with it, I saw another new cache at Auldana
Now that sounds like fun, I said. Suffice to say, I suspect erine14 has never before spent almost 2 hours sitting on the side of a gully waitiing to get a FTF Thankfully it was a gorgeous morning and there was a bit of a view between the gum trees[^]
Once ttrogg had come to our rescue, we resumed normal caching[^] until I got 1 last cache about 7.30pm after dropping erine14 back home[|)]
I ended the day with 13 cache finds and 2 DNFs
It is so much fun watching someone go backwards through the bush when they don't have to

Pretty poorly hidden by last finders, wasn't covered. Better hidden and signed *Red Raiders*
After spending a day at the Magill Uni SA campus, I thought I'd come check out this one. TNLN. Thanks for the cache
Found it! Neighbour scared the fuck out of me saying you have found it and he was looking over the fence
I hate dry leaves. Walking slowly only makes you sound more dodgy. Found but felt creepy. Thanks
Me tour of the board took me here today
This street isn't quite what I expected
But a good street to visit if you have a few spare cans or bottles that need recycling
Meanwhile across the road from the industrial sites,
an unexpected bit of bushland and a creek !!
Which is where I found the cache after a bit of scouting around

Quick find here, the bin guy was very interested in us walking out of the bushes and back to our car.
Trip log... GreyHams log says it best, in all its glorious detail... so it really is, 'What he said!'
With GreyHams we set out for another chapter of our caching challenge... To find all the counties in NSW. We flew into Adelaide early Friday morning with a return plane from Melbourne Monday night. Taking advantage of some super cheap car hire driving one way from Adelaide to Melbourne. Of course, as a four day road trip it leads into collecting as many counties as was possible as we pass through SA and Victoria as well, with a few side trips for those that were close enough.
The counties a high priority but many caches of interest, the oldies are always great, about 16 2001 caches found plus many others just as old. Web Cams, virtuals, great DT which would see us complete our fifth loop of the DT grid, large caches and lots of regular sizes too. The trip list also included a cache type of each we were missing for each state as well.
Simply, if we stopped for a cache that had made it onto the list, it was not just any random cache, it was selected for a quality of some type we were seeking.
One of the harder things about caching after flying somewhere is that all the TOTT are left behind...usually! So it just had to be done and we took an esky with us on the plane for all those fabulous cold drinks along the way.
The thing I love the most is that we also took a ladder with us on the plane too!
We had targeted the 'on your bike' wherigo series, so many puzzles, so many hours of them so the ladder was important if we wanted to find all the high DT, up the tree caches... which we did! Later in Ballarat we went 'above and beyond' with the ladder once again. A truly essential item to have, we may now need to invest in that inflatable Kayak for future adventures too!
Perhaps it must be said that our route was the least direct way we could have traveled via the Hay Plains and Griffith, but covered a lot of road, counties and locations leading to yet another great trip. Although a number of park and grabs, made closer by our reliable and tough SUV, we also managed a lot of walks, hills, bush, and just a great variety as we explored the different areas.
We crossed the Murray river many times, a lovely healthy looking river system. After our recent trip from Adelaide to Sydney, via Broken Hill and Bourke the dry rivers out there are a very sad sight compared with the Murray.
With so much achieved that we had set out for it was a very successful trip but also an enjoyable one with many memories made and a new batch of stories too! Thanks to all the CO's for there caches that lead us in our travels.

Nice idea for a series, for such a small back street it saw a lot of action

Aquilus1 and myself are on a mission.... to collect all of the counties in NSW! but how to get to those 'hard to reach' ones from where we are in Canberra? It would be an awfully long round trip. The answer was supplied in the super cheap car rental deals available if you drive one-way from Adelaide to either Sydney or Melbourne... I guess too many cars do it the other way and the cars need to get back somehow. Flying to ADL on points meant fuel was by far the biggest transport cost we paid for.
This trip is actually trip number two.... to drive from ADL to MEL, via Hay & Griffith! Yeah, thats logical! It was fun explaining where we were going to people, we got a lot of strange looks. The first trip was ADL to SYD, via Bourke. The bonus of course is we have also cleaned up a lot of SA & VIC counties as well.
OK, so primary goal is counties but we of course had 5 or 6 goals. Oldies was definitely a priority, I think we picked up 16 hides from 2001 on the trip along with lots of 2002-2006's. D/T of course is never overlooked and we did well there, I think we will almost complete our fifth loop from this trip. Webcams, Virtuals and Wherigo's were all targetted and finally getting all cache types in each state.
Day 1 was us arriving in ADL at sparrows, with a ladder and esky that we checked in and driving as far as Barmera. We cleaned up the 'On Your Bike' series where the ladder really fulfilled its purpose (I never want to see another online jigsaw again!) and even stopped to grab the LBH on the way out.... after 9:30pm, and after I attacked the dirt road with my body and left a lot of skin on it. Note to self: dont lunge at dirt roads! Luckily the hotel in town was open and we obtained fine lodgings. The floor creaked when I looked at it, or breathed, or changed my mind, but the bed was the finest.
Day 2 was driving to Hay, apparently on their biggest day of the year! No motel had rooms but luckily the new hotel that was supposed to open next week was forced into opening on the very day we arrived.... I like fresh sheets but how about a bed that has never been slept in! The crossed the Murray about 5 times and it was always impressive. We saw the country side change hugely from Rivers, Mallee and the Hay plain.
Day 3 was going from Hay, around Griffith and actually turning south towards Melbourne.... it felt like a long way! We cleaned up a bunch of the counties, in fact all of them, west of and including Naranderra. My map on Project-GC is going to look so green! We got as far as the outskirts of Bendigo, stopping at the first Motel we saw.... it was better than it looked!
Day 4 was getting to the airport, which we did with heaps of time to spare. Checkin closed a huge 18 minutes after our arrival. Damn, we could have grabbed another cache in that time. Ladder back in its box and checked in. I love the fact we took our own ladder!
Now safely back at home I am already suffering from caffeine withdrawal, but thats the price you pay for living on Coke for 4 days.
Sorry for the long generic log, but it was a fun trip and I wanted to share.

Found another of these in the fun Monopoly Series. Very impressed with this series after being very stuck on Marlborough Street! This one was a lot easier to find and I was walking very carefully because of hot weather and not wanting to find anything slithering! As is mostly the case caching, haven't been here before. Interesting back street. TFTC
A nice and quick find here.
With daylight savings now in play I decided to head out tonight to grab some trads. A nice night with 11 finds in total.
