Back home in Cairns for a little while, thought we had better get a few, 21 August 2021 11:42 am Tyfc MandyLou25 total caches now 2267 another quickie.

We feel a bit like we’re in Groundhog Day! The GPS was a bit all over the place, but when we looked around we realised where the cache was probably hidden. After that it was a quick find.

Yesterday we traveled north for the day from where we are staying our nieces place at Kewarra, so today we decided to go south, picking up caches on the way. We really understand why people up here say they live in paradise. We have seen beautiful parks and magnificent beaches with some amazing houses on are drives around northern Cairns. It really is a slice of heaven.
Thanks to all the local CO’s who have taken us on this journey. We appreciate your efforts in placing and maintaining all of your caches, and we have loved the journey.

I went on a week long trip to Cairns to escape the Canberra region and do a little diving and some exploration with caching to keep me busy. The warm weather was refreshing after the Canberra winter. As usual after flying up there was lots of walking but it was great to be out. Day 10. This was my last day around Cairns and I went South for a bit of caching, after lunch I went back up north for another round before calling it a day.

Found on brief tour of some northern suburbs this afternoon, thanks for another cache

Rolled into a small carpark that has been repurposed as a basketball court Perhaps that’s a hint from local residents to the shire council

Mobi pointed at the only other object here and I located the cache easily. Clean and dry.

I did some CITO whilst here as well. I wish people didn’t have to be grubs. Maybe CO could organise a CITO in this park?
