Out for a country drive on a lovely sunny morning to collect some rocket fuel for the Cosmic Quest. Tftc
Park, find, log, drive, park, find, log, drive. Not a bad way to spend a charming April afternoon! Not a bad way at all...thank you!
During this spot I saw a bird sunbathing while there were some small fires at the back.I celebrate small fires. I rather them, than big fires in the middle of summer like we had in 2020Thanks all7 for the series
Geobash Easter Mega - Day #5 (Easter Monday 1/4)For day five of my trip, I decided on power trailing my way to and from my third and final (pre-booked) tour at the Deep Space Tracking Station. This makes my four tours total. The power was a mixture of two joined into one. The two main PTs were, Beautiful View PT and the Drive Trip PT. There were also a couple of others along the way which needed to be added to the mix to break it up a little. It was great fun but very hard going as not all of them were at GZ given on the cache page or were in prickly bushes. Many battle scars were earned but it certainly was fun though. Once at the Deep Space Tracking Station it was a great tour. I learnt lots and got to the radio telescopes up close. I also got to find the caches around the area before heading off. After leaving, I power tailed my way back via the other way to get back to Canberra and then had a very late lunch. After that, I headed off to the CITO to finish the day off. TB visit. If the cache wasnt signed as JohnoMawbs, it was signed as JM or as the tour group name. A big thanks to the CO for adding this cache to game for the Geocaching community to enjoy. TFTEs & TFTCs Continuing along the PT towards the 'Deep Space Tracking Station'. This cache was one of them along the way. A nice quick find here and now off to the next one.
Over here for Canberra Mega from Western Australia picking up caches and meeting like persons. TFTC signed as WA3 (Geotrakka Burns345 neva2old)
Another early start after a crazy 5am event. Members of our team slowly starting to head different directions. Out this morning for a few hours while others are on a tour. Signing as a team - WA3Some logs are delayed - Apologies for that- its been hectic trying to keep up! Many thanks ALL7 for placing this hide for me to find and adding to my adventures.
Day 8 of my Canberra Mega adventure. Out caching with the members of the WA3 crew. The day looks to be another sunny day, so a great day for geocaching . Very happy to claim a smiley here. logs signed as WA3Team members ,Geotrakka, Burns345 and Neva2oldThis is my 13173 find Thankyou ALL7for placing and maintaining this cache.
We are enjoying the drive along this windy road. Lots of others are too! *The generic bit*Travelled up form Northern Victoria to attend the GeoBash Mega in Canberra. We started geocaching just before the Easter Mega event in Rutherglen last year and will celebrate our 1000th find at this Mega. Thanks to the organisers, sponsors, volunteers and all the COs who make these events a great success.
On my way home from the TTT for the mega I stopped by a few caches along the road once I got reception.TFTC
Travelling back from Gibraltar Falls and noticed there are caches lining the road! Thank you for the find! Enjoying all the green around this year. Cute container.
Spending the workday out in the area it was time to collect some caches on the way home while out here. Nice and empty on the roads at this our of last light.
Quick find, nice cache, all in good order.
Thank you ALL7 for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

I need some numbers as I edge towards a milestone, so convinced Nibletricecakes to join me in chipping away at a trail. This was one of the many we found this afternoon. TFTC.
A cold winters day in canberra just begging for a Sunday Afternoon Drive in the Country… instead GLISS! and I opted for tackling a power trail out the back blocks of Canberra. Thankfully the car is warm! And the sky is dry. Thanks for the trail. Thanks for the cache.
A quick find. We have tried to search for most of the 55 caches in this series with a few DNF and one or two did not attempts. Thanks for the gorgeous series. Collecting these as we head back into Canberra for dinner. Thanks for all the caches!
Fun, adventure, travel, history, geology, mental stimulation, social gatherings, support and friendship are just some of the elements of geocaching.
Out and about enjoying the opportunity to grab a few caches, yours being one of those I targeted on my journey today. Thanks ??
Thanks ALL7 (F=18985 H=1365) for placing this cache and adding to our game.

We stamped the logs as "The Mob" - today I cached with teams: micaparamedic and The Drovers. An early, drizzly morning, but a nice area to explore.
Most of the caches were straight forward, yet a couple stumped us. A few were located where it was difficult to safely pull the car off of the road, but we made it work with some creative maneuvers.
2020 was not a great year, and the beginnings of 2021 have also been tricky - so when it looked like the various borders would be open again (without quarantine restrictions), a trip that was planned at the Clear Waters mega was able to occur.
Adelaide, Victoria, NSW and Canberra - a decent drive, filled with various caching activities including Adventure Labs.
Several days caching with the awesome Team Crackers, gorgeous The Drovers, fab Phetlern, cool Alansee, and the lovely micaparamedic.
We laughed, sang to a vast variety of songs and chatted, non-stop. We piled into cars and had such a fun time. Despite the light showers and windy conditions at times, the sun certainly peaked out from behind the clouds a number of times.
A sincere thanks to ALL7 for placing these caches, it was an enjoyable little series.

Day 5 of our trip to Queanbeyan, and surrounding areas.
Today we are caching with Micaparamedic & GoodLook, as the other teams in our group have headed toward the Mega. Using the stamp that we had made for group caching trips, we signed as 'The Mob' to save space on the logs.
We decided to do the Beautiful View series, and a few others in the area.
Loved the drive, and enjoyed the peaceful surrounding. The road was not too busy.
Many thanks for placing this cache, ALL7, for us and others to find.

Enjoying our time back in the ACT, our meetings and catch ups are finished for the day so now it’s time for more geocaching. We have chosen the trails around Tidbinbilla, one because it’s beautiful country around here and secondly because these are nicely placed park and grab caches allowing us to cover a lot in a short space of time.

Found on my way home from Tidbinbilla. I only managed a few of the many caches along the route - it would have taken me far too long to stop at them all! TFTC.
A few hours to spare so headed off to do a few of this series, mostly in good condition, but the recent rain has resulted in a few damp logs. TFTC ALL7
Being fair weather cachers it was great to head out today and find this cache. Lovely scenery, very green. Thanks for hiding this cache.
I had a day when I needed some caches to meet one of the caches per day of the year challenges going around at the moment. I did nine caches, most along Point Hut road on a very warm afternoon.
Thanks.

A quick find and off to the next one.

Found on a smokey, but nice caching run in the afternoon before work. Pulled up near GZ for a quick find. Nice views. There was quite a bit of smelly roadkill on this road, but all was fine in the end. TFTC ALL7!
Headed out for a caching run with steeba and Hoojar that had a bit of everything. These caching runs are planned months in advance and to-date have been perfect. This trip was no different – except for the influence of the WEATHER. A weekend in the Canberra hills that had howling winds, driving rain, sleet, hail, snow, frozen body parts slippery icy tracks, closed roads and temps that never got higher than 6 deg by day and were subzero all night, but alas we had a great boys weekend caching.
Apologises for the generic log but it doesn’t detract from the caching fun, except for the WEATHER which played a major part in our weekend. Thanks to all the CO’s for the hides.

On a trip southwards with The Rats and Hoojar- a tad cold in the late evening! TFTC!
A few days caching in the ACT and surrounds with Steeba and The Rats, another trip away like countless others that we have done before. We got the dates, we did the planning, we worked out a route. But there was one thing that we could not plan for; the weather.
The caches were excellent. The company faultless. The weather; atrocious. High winds, cold, sleet, rain, mush, icy, snow, we had it all! But we endured, and had a fantastic time regardless. Did I mention that it was cold? Bone chillingly cold. I am not sure my fingers have as yet recovered! Some roads were even closed due to snow, curtailing our route and resulting in some last-minute changes.
Please forgive the boiler-plate log, I assure you it is no reflection on the caching experience of our few days away. Thank you to all cache owners for their hides.
Cheers

Found 11:47 4/8/19 with Knightech. We enjoyed the views. Thank you ALL7 for the cache and bringing me to this location.
I'm not usually one for these roadside, smash-and-grab sort of caches... But with the museum mystery to resolve, it seemed the time to finally clear this route, or at least a section of it. Tharwa via Point Hut is one of my favourite cycling routes, and it has been amusing to find caches at so many familiar points!
Out and about on another lovely day for a geomission to nab more ALL7 caches and a few other randoms along the roads to Tidbinbilla
All caches were quick finds apart from a couple of tricky ones and a couple of DNFs. Really enjoyed the drive and the wanders around this beautiful area!
Thanks for the cache and the series, ALL7

Day eight in Queanbeyan. BettyBoo3747 and I decided to go visit the Tidbinbilla Deep Space Complex. Strangely enough, we found a few cache before we got there, while we were there, and after we left. We followed the Tourist Drive No.5.
We didn't mean to do any extras along the road, but they just kept popping up!
We did two on the way then decided we really should get to Tidbinbilla.
Not so restrained on the way south after the Space Complex.
We stopped when there were good pull-offs or when we weren't being tailgated, etc.
We ended up collecting quite a few.
Thanks for this series.
Thanks, Robmc.

#15631. Day 8 of our 2 weeks holiday in the ACT and surrounds. We are staying at Carwoola.
Robmc was keen to visit The Tidbinbilla Deep Space Centre today and what a glorious day it was to be out in this lovely Autumn-coloured countryside. The poplars are so golden at present and such a lovely feature of the landscape. A bit of a different day to yesterday - clear blue skies and a mild temperature. It was certainly the most scenic day we have had so far. Total smilies for the day - 36.
I did love this drive along here today - I think we were travelling in the wrong direction but the views were still wonderful.
Thanks ALL7

Attending the Clear Water 2019 mega this Easter in Queanbeyan. Apologies for the generic log but we have found too many to compose individual logs. Many thanks to all the cache owners for their caches, which have been exceptional in their maintenance I have had only 1 dnf and that was only because I was not going to make a tree climb without seeing where the cache was. The vast majority of caches have had very good coordinates. Along with useful hints. TFTC
Found while out and about with a group of cachers. We decided to cache in this area and were rewarded with good views and some good caching.
After a morning spent in pursuit of an alien figure on our geo-map we chose an Aussie afternoon drive to the country with Alansee, Gonefishen07 and Zobo04. A variety of hides put an interesting line of smiley tokens on our map between Canberra and Tharwa.
Thanks to 'ALL7' for another country cache drive.

We signed many logbooks with either our names or HDMG to save space

At the Queanbeyan Clearwater event so my wife HippyDonna and I thought we would attack the Beautiful View series, a very testing day. Thanks for doing this series, greatly appreciated & with people like you it makes caching fun.
Having a beautiful drive in the countryside today. How wonderful it is out here. So picturesque. Caching is ALMOST second to the views. We stopped for your cache here and gladly signed the log Team JARP. Many thanks ALL7 for placing the cache here for us and others to find.
Cheers and happy caching!

Venturing around Canberra while attending the Mega. A days caching with caching friends and the log signed as Team JARP. Due to the numbers I am doing a generic log, however I do appreciate each individual cacher for their caches and the locations. Well done. TFTC

A few hours to spare this afternoon, so decided to do part of this trail (minus the Corin road section). Quite hot and steamy in the beginning, but after a while a storm moved in and I was doing caches in the thunder and light rain. Thankfully it didn't rain heavily, so all caches were found and logged.
Thanks,
Thanks,
