Chewbacca72 and I are traveling during 4 months through Singapore, Australia and New Zealand. A few caches that are on our way should not be missing. This cache is one of them. Many thanks to HRH54 for this very cool hide.+ 1 FavoBest regards, searchersab
Bloody awesome . Had fun locating this one. Can't sign paper as it's now stuck in cache.
During our cacher tour we also stopped here and looked for this cache. Thanks for the nice cacheTeam sissifalke
Sneaky one, didn't take too long to find definitely a cool little cache, replaced and signed today with my partner ( New_Age_God ) Tftc
Sneaky little hide !! we had a good little laugh once we spotted it !! found and returned today ( 18/8/24 w/ my partner ( selfnegligent ) ) Tftc !!
Ah Ha!! We know what that is and that it shouldn't be here. Very Funny!!! Another Fav Point for your Creativity!!!
I was able to spot something that didn't belong very quickly here, and grabbed the cache within a minute of reaching the GZ. Another great hide. Tftc
Heading towards Lake Somerset with BM75, Peppa and wayn0 and had some time to stop and grab a few caches on the way. Another clever hide, thanks for the fun HRH54Find #5051
There was a plan Im not sure who first suggested the plan, but it involved Beardman75, Davinells, wayn0 and I aboard the recently renamed Karicka attempting to collect as many Lake Somerset caches as possibleAnother quick find before starting the main eventThanks HRH54
Found at the end of a mum and son camping trip. We had overnight rain so I had the joy of packing up a wet campsite. Then we spent the morning kayaking and swimming and after lunch we headed back to Brisbane. We stopped along the way to look for caches and thankfully they were all quick finds today as it was super hot and muggy.GeoM quickly found this cache then raced back to the car aircon while I signed the log. It was super hot here today. Thanks HRH54! I had no trouble with my Optus reception here so maybe things are improving.
Another good hide from this CO and another favourite from us. How do you think of these great hides? We enjoyed your caches found today. Thanks HRH54
HRH54 I found your cache O'Sheas Crossing on 12/7/2023, 1:40 pm. This is my find 5888 and find # 3 today. Found it after a brief search. Cleverly camouflaged. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Another incredible hide! We were sidetracked by something else out of place, but once we checked that out, it was on to the cache!
So creative once again!
Thank you for all your efforts. Best caches we’ve ever seen!

Cache back in place and ready to find. Good luck we hope you enjoy the adventure of discovery. Please replace as found.
Sorry folks just checked our cache and it’s been muggled …very disappointing as Geohubbie had put a lot of work into its construction. It’s into the workshop for him and hopefully won’t be too long before it’s back.
Today, I joined E_Smiley with our plan to hike at Crows Nest National Park, targeting a few Q100 oldies that included Perseverance Pays No 1 and 2.
We had arranged to meet at Toogoolawah, and I elected to take the drive north of Lake Wivenhoe via Wivenhoe Outlook and Red Cedar. We took a few stops at the small cluster of geocaches north of Lake Perseverance that took longer than I had anticipated, and so we eventually arrived at Crows Nest National Park for our walk. The river and pools were great, but I hadn't anticipated the mapped track to essentially be non-existent, so it was a much tougher slog than I had thought. If that challenge wasn't tough enough, we thought we had just enough time to take a drive south to another Crows Nest National Park section, where we then hiked up to Perseverance Pays No 1. A friendly walk along fire tracks, but the last scramble section was challenging, but the views were terrific. We made it back to Toogoolawah well after our planned end time, but it was a fantastic day nevertheless.
After parking along Cooeeimbardi Road, I took a quick walk to GZ, initially searching around the trees, before then following my GPS. It wasn't long before I spotted a very well-camouflaged cache container - nice work! The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks HRH54 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Driving from Gatton to Sunshine Coast through Kilroy was the plan today. Hopefully collecting a few of the rose caches as well as some high favourite caches on the way.
I didn’t get as many of the rose caches as I would have liked but certainly made up for that with a number of other caches. Some very very cleaver caches that have given inspiration.
Tftc.
Quick stop for this cache. What a brilliant cache. Dont want to give anything away but it’s a top cache

What a lovely little spot, there were a few people fishing, even though the weather wasn’t the greatest. A nice hide here, thanks for the cache.
A very sneaky little hide. I spent far too long looking where I shouldn't but combining a previous photo and one word feoma previous log and bi go - success.
Thanks for giving us something else to do on our toilet stop.

Monday. Today was a day to finally get out to the Somerset / Wivenhoe area and check out how full the dams are now. Along the way, we collected some caches and this was our first one. Have to award a FP to this one for the creativity! Nice quick find and only a geocacher would recognise it as a cache. Well executed container and fun to find. Lovely area that we didn’t know was here as we must have driven past it so many times before.
This was the 1st of 5 caches found on this outing.
Thanks ***HRH54*** for showing us this place

I parked nearby, jumped the fence and made a quick find between passing showers. Thanks for the cache
Today's big plan was a hike around Wivenhoe Hill, but after just 2km of that, the heat and humidity made it all very un-fun, so I bailed and jumped in the car for an air-conditioned explore instead. My new "Plan B" was to circumnavigate Lake Wivenhoe. When I stopped in Esk for reception, I scrolled around the map and found four up north here with massive favourite points and deemed them worthy of adding to my day. Offline list updated and downloaded!
Years ago I had looked at O'Sheas Crossing for a possible launch to kayak and explore the top of the lake, but that was the extent of my investigation. Very happy today to have a reason to stop in and see what I missed.
As I exited the highway, I watched where the app was pointing, and opted to drive into the day use area, and a little bit across the grass (hooray for having borrowed an AWD vehicle!) right to GZ. I parked just metres away and hopped out to hunt. It wouldn't take long and I quickly spotted something *just* not-right enough to be maybe a geocache. Sure enough, inside I found a logbook and signed it at around 12:30.
With it all replaced as found, I carefully drove back to the gravel to check out the lakeside views. I can happily say I am glad I never made plans to hoof my kayak down that hill to the water, nor need to paddle it against the flow of the creek to come home. Yeah, this geocache and a small detour will do. Thanks for this bonus smiley today, HRH54

Holey moley, there is one angry bird in this park. Yowsers.
Rolling in here today, i was looking forward to the respite, so it was with shock when i was angrily and incessantly swooped, even walking.
Crikey.
Stick flailing about i came upon gz for a quick, yet amazingly created hide.
By the looks of the favourites on other caches ahead of me, looks like i'm in for a treat at somerset.
Another easy favourite.
Thanks HRH54 for taking the geocaching bar and raising it high.

My husband wanted to go to Esk races today and i had a look at what caches were nearby and i remembered finding one of this co's caches and so was very excited to come out here and find a few more. so i dropped my husband at the races and headed here/ this was my second find today and after finding the super great damn wall i wondered what would be here and once again i had read alot of logs this morning and once at GZ i soon spotted another great cache. Will give it a FP when i get one to give. Thanks once again for a great cache and another lovely spot.
Did a maintenance run after reading the previous log. Actual cache still in place. Removed the cache that was found in the toilet block ...unfortunately it had no markings to see where it had come from.
Found it... sort of. We pulled in to look for this one and thought we would use the amenities first. Lucky because the cache had been placed on top of the wall in the men's toilet. Sanitised it, then (hopefully) returned it to its proper place.
I stopped by here on the way to the camping grounds to see if I could make the find here.
I was rewarded with another very clever cache.
Thanks for the cache HRH54

We are lucky to still be here with all the Covid lockdowns and chaos happening. Thanks for a nice quick find and for placing this cache for us to find.
Pleased that this was a nice quick find and a couple of muggles although not sure what they are doing. Not caching that's for sure. Thanks for the cache.
Catching up on late logs.
We were up here to attend the Daybro Mega event but the weather was not very kind to us so we decided to concentrate on Adventure Labs and any thing else that was near by.
The weather had turned quite nice so we joined forces with Geoturle and Pappie to try our luck at some local caches.
We walked past this one at first but when the GPSr kept insisting we look there we were quite happy to locate a well hidden cache. Again we added out names to the log and another favorite point to the cache page.
Many thanks once more HRH54 for great hide.

Found by Mary and David at 14:00. Again, more great cache notes. Just a lovely area despite spots of rain. Good camo, and a FP from us. Our thanks to HRH54.
The foggy hills on a wet day look picturesque. Luckily it wasn't raining when we stopped for the cache but it wasn't long after it started again. A quick find by MrG who seems to know what is and what isn't. Me on the other hand... DNF... TFTC HRH54.
Took the opportunity to do some geocaching while staying at Toogoolawah. Last find before heading to Esk to do some shopping. And easy find after the homestead one. Lots of butterflies about on my visit. TFTC.
Spending the weekend with our son and daughter in law and had a picnic lunch at the park, had a stroll around and made the find . Thanks HRH54 for the cache.
Puzzles were solved and a plan was hatched. We were going boating! It didn't take long for the enormity of the task ahead to become clear and so we parked the idea and the second half of the puzzles for another day. A week ago some geocaching friends invited us along for a weekend of camping and caching. An opportunity we couldn't possibly refuse! A quick scramble over a few days and the final touches were made and puzzles solved that had been neglected. We arrived the night before and made a plan of attack allowing for changes as required based on the flavour of the wind. An early start by kayak followed by the SS Slow Boat resulted in 11.5 hours on the water after first launching before the final cache was signed. We couldn't possibly have achieved this task without the help, support, entertainment, laughs and all round fun of Chamad, Willis007 and Team Tyrell. The scenery was stunning and the bird life abundant. Views from some of the hills were magic and we couldn't help but stare in awe up at the bright stars from the campsite of an evening. Mrs Simber15's irrational fear of cows was overcome on a few occasions and a brief encounter with magpies completed. A few times we found ourselves beached or engine stalled and then Chamad would remind us "I know boats" and it wasn't long before we were up and running again. This was a weekend of caching we won't soon forget! Thankyou for adding to the enjoyment of our adventure HRH54!
Staying at Esk for a few days. Today we travelled from Esk to Kilcoy via Toogoolawah then back to Esk via Somerset. We found 21 caches in total, they were a great variety of Traditionals, Puzzles and a Multi.
Sneaky sneaky. A FP from us
Thanks to all the COs that have hidden caches in this area for us to enjoy.

Nice, clever little hide here... We're staying in Esk Caravan Park for the weekend and decided to grab a few smiles around Somerset Dam area after setting up. TFTC.
Sneaky little hide at a lovely park by the river, we'll be sure to come back here with a picnic in the future. TFTC
COs- Currently in the process of catching up on my logging backlog- some of it, I'm embarrassed to say extends back a number of years.
I'm logging each cache on the date that I actually visited it, not the day I'm logging. Cheers??
??????????
We'd been busy beavers solving the dark side puzzle series and could finally come and collect the goodies here. It took us 3 days in a slow boat but we had a great time out on the water and being away from home.
As Ratty?? said to Mole??...
“Believe me, my young friend, there is nothing–absolutely nothing–half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats.”
We didn't mess about too much though or we wouldn't have found them all in the time we had the boat.
The logs were signed as either team GERSH or sometimes GRESH, depending on the memory of the signee and the caches were where our coords led us and no issues were encountered.
The team consisted of...
GS1947, RoddyC, echocage1, Snickersallan and hatzofff.
We've finished our maritime activities and are going after some land based caches.

Out for a drive today and picked this one as the cache to find on the way. Nice and quiet here today and the cache is placed well away from where others are likely to be. As we wandered over Mrs CF quickly spotted the likely hide - which was soon confirmed. Thanks! Great spot and we must go back for a picnic and further explore one day.
Clever hide. Good to sea the river flowing again. Large group of pelicans seen. TFTC.
After stopping at the last COs Clever hide back a couple of kilometres, we decided to take a short detour to visit this one. Another simple but effective hide in a lovely location. It is also a beautiful rest area here although at the moment the water levels are all quite low. Thanks HRH54

Another creative cache hide. We loved your first one so much we've set a goal to find all of them before we leave Somerset this weekend. Thanks for placing these!

Today I had to drive from Toowoomba to a remote spot in the countryside near Somerset Dam. I did have time to stop and find a few caches along the way. Last cache for me today. Pulled into the picnic area here and parked near GZ. Coordinates spot on so the cleverly camo'd cache was found in the first place I checked. TFTC, Biggles.
Great spot for free campers. We staying at Esk & decided to do a tourist drive. Well z very protective magpie swooped us so had to take evasive action (held sticks above our heads. Mother Maggie still swooped though but protection helped). Another well constructed hide. Tftc
. After observing a very dry Brisbane River from a well maintained and used picnic area .The cache was located ..Thanks HRH54 Well Done !!! + FP
Pulled in to this nice little park and drove down to the water before looking for this cache. There were a few muggles coming and going but the cache location took us to a muggle free spot.
While I was wandering around getting the GPS to settle Mr Beetle spotted this one. Perhaps being a technician in his past life [now he's a geocacher] helped with him spotting the anomaly here.
Thanks and a favourite point from us. We're sure using up a lot of them in this area.

Found with Touchstone7 on a trip out west of Brisvegas. We were up visiting my father and decided that a little side trip around an area I haven't really been to could be fun.
And of course, there were caches.
Thanks for the cache and sorry for the late log. Sometimes life gets a little hectic

Yes very clever indeed! Needs new log paper as we signed the last spot. We were at this spot September last year and can’t believe how low the water is now.
TFTC. teaming up with snakepiters for the next lot of geo art that we had solved together after completing roses today we were both so close to next milestones we had to keep going!
Completed the Roses Geoart at Kilcoy and needed a few more for us to meet our next milestone, so we came here to pickup the Coat of Arms series that we have solved. With Cheekybum_15.

On a rainy wander around the countryside, we found ourselves out here to discover a great bunch of tricky slightly "hazardous" caches.
After figuring out the last one fairly quickly, once at gz, I just went for the most dangerous looking thing in sight. Luckily, it was the cache and I had a rethink not to just assume this again as it might be a problem down the track.
Got pretty close in the car as the rain seemed to want to burst out at any moment.
Clever construction - I like it! Very ingenious, but a bit scary...
