Gayndah to MundubberaCamping overnight at the showgroundsIt's so nice to be caching in the country side. Some lovely scenery in the area.Passed many different types of fruit growing in the area. Thanks for hiding this cache.
Heading out to seek the Auburn cache and enjoying a few stops along the way with each of the Hawkwood trail caches. Thanks
Hi there coral.sea.cat, we found your cache Hawkwood Trail #1 today. Were camping at Eidsvold Showgrounds for a few days with a caravanning group from RV Homebase, and have taken the opportunity to duck out and find a few caches while we are here. The horizontal broke into 1 million pieces. The geocache is now at the junction of horizontal and vertical.Coordinate Accuracy: We found this cache near where our GPS said we should be looking. Cache Condition: Good. Regards Ian & Penny (Found and logged using Cachly).
On the way to home (Melbourne) via stop some of the town Here's one to find today.Thank you for placing the cache coral.sea.cat.
Today was all about efficiency as i embarked on a park and grab drive-by cache adventure along the power trail. The caches were lined up, waiting for eager geocachers like me to log my find. I stopped by this cache as part of a power trail adventure, and it was a quick and easy find. The cache was exactly where I expected it to be, thanks to the accurate coordinates. Thanks to the cache owner for placing this cache along the trail. It's a great addition to the power trail and made for a convenient stop on our geocaching journey. Trade: We didn't make a trade at this particular cache since it was more about the quick find and go. Trackable: We didn't find any trackables in this cache, but we'll keep an eye out for them as we continue our journey along the power trail. Quick Stop: This cache made for a perfect quick stop while on the power trail. We appreciate the convenience and the chance to add another find to our geocaching stats. Thanks to the cache owner for maintaining this cache. We're off to the next one along the power trail. Happy caching!
Nice and crisp morning. Plenty of low laying fog. Roos bouncing around and citrus workers jammed into hiace vans off to work the farms. TFTC
Tftc coral sea cat, on our recent trip to Mundubbera area we had a look for this cache
No trouble finding it
The cache and log sheet are in good condition.
Thanks

Found it after a wet visit to the auburn river to see a rare event it flowing but we couldn’t cross the river to get the cache there so we are doing this hawkwood trail on the way back
A quick find on the way to Auburn Falls. Lots of burs from the long weeds / grass.

Taking our time to take a longer road home than usual. We don't normally do trails but decided to do this one and pop in for a look at Auburn Gorge.
#1 was a fairly find. Cache and log in good condition.
Left a dinosaur sticker and dropped off a travel bug.

While visiting my grandparents farm, my Mum mnance101 and myself decided to do this cache. TFTC!
I hadn’t been back to my parent’s farm near Mundubbera for 2 years. While we were here, my daughter Pinkypie05 and myself decided to do some of the caches we still hadn’t done. We had been to Auburn Falls years ago and done that cache but this trail wasn’t there then. TFTC!
Sort of vertical actually! Looking forward to our night at the Auburn gorge.....
Found whie staying in MUndubba for a couple of day trying to avoid maor population centers for a while. An easy find.
After camping overnight in Kilkivan I headed north today and stopped to grab some caches allong the way. No problems finding the caches and once the logs were signed all were returned as found.
If a cache needed attention that was done too.
Thanks to the CO's for placing these cache for me and others to find.

Another grass seed fest here. Of course finding the cache is far more important than the uncomfortable socks full of these monster seeds. Fortunately the cache was found quickly in the expected location.
Ants have started to build a holiday home around the cache. Grass was very high but we got it. TFTC
An extremely weird place for a cache. If you need to stretch your legs on your road way this is a good idea. Packed with prizes. Tftc.
Weary of long grass, we ventured in feet stomping. Geo kids found, we signed and were on our way to the next one. TFTC!
A sudden and unexpected trip into the whoop whoops saw me coming along this road this morning.
I pulled up and and made my way to GZ. It was a little awkward getting to GZ - trying to avoid various plants and such. I soon had the beast in hand and was signing the log.
A good little excuse for a stop. TFTC coral.sea.cat

Great cache. Thanks for arranging the hide and interesting placement. Our thanks to coral.sea.cat for placing this cache and enhancing our enjoyment of the area.
Last one today before heading for a nice cold drink. Another quick find. Signed the log and returned to where I found it. Thanks coral.sea.cat. All good with this cache and a favourite for the series.
Last one for us. That is enough sun and dirt for one day. Made a quick find. Thanks for the cache and placing this series.
Decided to do some caches out from Mundubbera. Left a pathtag and collected travel bug. TFTC
Catching up on logs from our four day caching trip. It’s been a while since we have been out and about. We found a variety of different hide, most of them quick finds . Cobblers peg were everywhere. Thanks to all the co,s for hiding the caches for us to find.
If I'm following a geocache series, I like to mark it by verse. I wouldn't dignify it as poetry, but I hope it makes you smile.
Number one is guarded close
By cobbler's peg or nail,
My sleeve and front are spiked with them!
So starts the Hawkwood Trail.

On a road trip to visit grandson, checking caches on the way and dipping TBs for mileage.
Gps was a little off, but with some detailed instructions, we had it by torchlight. Last cache for the day and of the series, of which it was nice to see a little cache design variety over the series.. Thanks coral.sea.cat. for some great light entertainment for the afternoon.
S25 40.039 E151 14.152 was where I found it but it was very overcast and inclement.
Time to head back up this way. Should only be about 6 hours up and find and home. Left Nanango at 0500 and home again at 12noon. Drove up to Gayndah about 1.45 hours then up the back way to Mundubbera to Hawkwood Road then home via town and the Burnett Highway.
Arrived close to GZ and saw what was the obvious spot but GPSr wanted me 15 meters away. Looked in the obvious spot and used the horizontal and not the vertical and soon had my name on the log. TNLNSL TFTC coral.sea.cat

We saw this series of and headed down this way. Each of the caches was very easy to find, especially as the info on the cache page was very specific and clear.
We were happy with being the 2TF here and added our name to the list of finders. All was replaced in the position as found before we headed off to continue the hunt.
Thanks go to coral.sea.cat for placing this series along a quiet road with good parking opportunities.

TFTC {FTF}. We had left Jandowae this morning heading for Munduberra. Looking at what caches were available noticed that these had been recently published. We do not chase FTF but if the opportunity arises, why not. We detoured off the highway and headed for #1 and #2. Quick find and name is in a nice clean log.
