What a great walk-through the bush. Found with Goldberry17 and Kaz444. We came in from his one 1.1 km walk and just passed a couple of piles of litter. TFTC.
Lovely bush walk. Its a shame someone has dumped their rubbish on the way. Great rusty structure - Ill be interested researching its history. Thanks for placing a cache here.
Found #1 so off for a nice bush walk to find this one. Nice day to be caching with 2pods and Goldberry17. Interesting rusty structure. Shame people have used this lovely area as a dumping ground. TFTC
Mr Minion and I are out enjoying the sunshine, its a bit cold but nice to be out. Well we got to GZ for this cache and spotted the cache instantly, it was laying on the ground out in the open . I was unsure of where it actually belonged, I placed it a little further in , closer to where the hint said. I hope thats ok.Thanks for the cache tnln sl
#10273 (1 of 11 today - including 2 Adventure Labs)I was after some calendar finds today and had decided a few days ago that a trip north would be just the ticket. There are still a number of caches to snaffle around Kurri Kurri so thought to make that my target. And then the weather decided to have a say. But when I looked on the BOM Radar, Kurri Kurri was a few kilometres north of the rain band. I just need to get there. The rain as I approached the Mooney Mooney Bridge was horrific! And the traffic slowed as I went past a jackknifed semi - must have got there only a few minutes after it happened as there was no sign of any emergency vehicles. Finally I reached my target, and had pleasant weather for the whole of my caching day. Perfect.Well it would have been if not for a number of DNFs I racked up on a P&G powertrail.###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###I'd noticed two disabled caches near one of my targets. A quick check of the logs indicated that they should be there - barring bushfire damage. Might as well check one out. So I did, this one.Pleasant walk in, accompanied by the soothing sounds of the Trail Bikes!Got to GZ and made an immediate find.No issues here. No fire damage and both the cache and log were in top condition.Made the grab, signed and replaced. No reason this can't be re-enabled. I'll check the other one shortly...SLTNLNTFTC
im disabling this cache for the time being due to a harsh bush fire that has spread through the bush surrounding HEZ. please keep away from the area for the time being. i will either re enable the cache or archive once i am able to access the area and assess the situation.
took my 10 year old sister and neither of us could find anything? found the old rusty from the hint but no container
4th cache of the day. Tried driving from #1 to here, without using any tar, but did not succeed. But only travelled about 100 meters on the black stuff, before back in the bush. Another park and grab for us. Interesting structure here, not real sure what its purpose may have been. More than likely mine related. Plenty of new bush pin stripes from this one. the track is a little overgrown. TFTC.
Temporarily disabling this one due to COVID-19 to ensure all stay safe and follow the new restrictions that have been put in place. will be back up once restrictions have been lifted. Stay safe everyone

With the day off work today, I decided to take a nice walk in the bush and track down this one. I parked along the main road and walked in through the nearest access point via the footpath, and followed the trail straight in to GZ. As I approached, I wasn’t expecting to see the object that was there (expected something smaller), but soon spotted the cache just in front of me. Enjoyed the walk.

TFTC,
We ran an experiment and were able to get to GZ in the 4x4 walker. Added a favourite.
Came up here today with the idea of achieving more than we did. After a while, the numbers didn't matter and rain stopped us from doing some walking caches at a critcal time.
Great to have a chance to do a variety of caches placed by different cachers, thanks for providing and continuing to maintain your caches.

Dusted off the old Geocaching shoes today and heading out for a couple of local ones.

Out grabbing some caches in the area. We somehow lost our pen on the way to this one so a bit of charcoal did the trick. TFTC
A nice walk and after we looked at the back of the Richmond Vale Railway Museum. Excellent
Found today while coming out here to do some caches on our Mountain Bikes, nice spot to come for a ride to get some caches, 7 to be exact. Nice little spot even though the hint doesn't really relate to the hide, FP for the help.

We came on mountain bikes today for the puzzles, after a couple of nudges at some recent events made me look at the trio here again. With a few trads in the area we had a plan. Parking at the hospital we rode a loop in and out of the bush, probably pedalling out about 7km on a beautiful day that was really warming up a lot by the time we were done. Surprisingly didn't see any mosquitoes, maybe they could smell us (TeamDEET) coming??
We struggled here as the hint threw us off. After a PAF to the CO's Dad, we were on target, and followed the GPS to where Samuel made the find. TFTC beary_unicorns.... FP for a cool little spot.

We have set up camp at the Kurri Kurri sports club.
Todays trip was with snakepiters & Liz and Bruce, I was along for the ride as hubby went into Newcastle to look for a e-bike. In the afternoon hubby took his new bike along the bush tracks to find a couple.
He's a very happy chappy.
A variety of cache types & hides found.
Thanks for placing this cache beary_unicorns

Found while cycling around the mountain bike track this end of the Trail is much better than the start it’s nice without all the rubbish where are enjoying ourselves testing out our new mountain bikes in the environment they are meant to be ridden in. We loved the windy trails and the occasional obstacles added to the enjoyment.
Thanks
Thanks
out and about the greater maitland area, picking up a few of our solved caches and traditionals. Thanks all for bringing us here to the area. TFTC beary_unicorns

Hi all, I'm temporarily disabling this so we can go out and check on it due to the recent fires
We parked at the bottom of the trail near the main road and walked in for this one. We had to leave the trail at about 40m from GZ to do some easy bush bashing, only to (for the second time today) end up at 0m, adjacent to another similar trail. An easy find - TFTC!
Found, as previously mentioned, cache isn't actually on the rusty structure but about 6 or 7 metres from it. My gps seems to be about 3 or 4 metres out today. Tftc
Took the littlest geokid for a drive this morning.
This was our fourth stop. We drove back around from the other one in this series and parked at the 4WD track entrance. A bit of a stretch for the Camry!
Walked another half a km each way to GZ. Got thrown by the clue initially but expanded my search area and got there in the end. TNLN TFTC

Aussieben and I after hearing the email go off we tore out the door skulling a freshly made Coffee and Geowife intow with her geoslippers on headed to this familiar area hoping to beat the Roo all was going to plan till I noticed some fresh tyre marks in the sand and not long after the noise of a familiar 4X4 hope of a FTF was lost again settling for STF all good in the end as the geolux made the trek back easy thanks for the cache
Kingfisher_au and i attempted to get a first to find on this cache as we believed our only contender would have gone off to do the other nearby new cache. But upon walking up the track to gz we hear a the sound of a 4wd coming towards us, it was chippyroo who had already beaten us to the cache but were more than happy to point us in the right direct and offer a ride on the geolux back to the road. An interesting structure that i would not have known about if it wasn't for geocaching, thanks for another cache beary_unicorns.

We were at home when the notification came through. We jumped in the Geolux and off we went. We found the structure easily enough and were searching around not finding anything so we resorted to the GPS and soon had the cache in hand. The clue is a bit deceiving as it’s not on the structure (which is a water bore).
As we were leaving the track to GZ we spotted a couple of familiar people on foot - Aussie Ben and KingfisherAU.
