Our plan today was to head to Richmond and while in that area find as many caches as we could while enjoying the historical ambience. This walking trail was high on our target list of caches Walked right beyond this one so stopped on the return journey A very enjoyable series TFTC 63ROOS
Quick find after missing it on way forward, so picked up on way back. Broke up the wall back to car. Thanks for the cache 63ROOS
Today we headed to Richmond for a gander. We think we came here back in 2009 but have hazy memories . We enjoyed a thorough walk around today, it was freezing cold and skies were grey. We may need to come back again before we leave Tassie.Had a fab coffee and cake at the bakery and enjoyed a pack lunch. Left camp at 9am and back home at 5.30pm so it was certainly a full day. Thank you to all the kindly CO for placing and maintaining caches for us to enjoy.Good walk up the hill. TFTC
TFTC. This is a beautiful place and such a beautiful day I decided to do the walk.Cache and contents are in excellent condition.
Keeping my stats in order.I have run out of time to do full logs.FLTF.Thanks 63ROOS TFTC.
Another one where the clue is very much not true for Stricep, but we did indeed find it, also with aadi_is_the_best, TFTC )
Located rather quickly, but this has the potential to blend and be missed.Cheers
GPS was a little jumpy, and when youre tall, its below head height:). But found!
Fourteenth find for the day. I picked up Benjigirl65 after the event and we headed to Richmond, hoping the rain would stay away whilst we cached. Some more precipitation on the walk here from the last. Another quick find. Thanks for the cache
Viking family packed lunch and a coffee and hit the road! Richmond was our destination.
Because it was such a lovely day we thought we would start with The Richmond walking trail. A very pleasant walk, with a beautiful autumn veiw along the track. Cache found fairly quick with not much trouble at all

We are visiting Australia from Florida, USA for a multi-week vacation which will have us visiting two states in Australia (Tasmania and the ACT) we missed in 2014 followed by 28 days on the Ovation of the Seas including New Zealand and a Transpacific to Honolulu, Hawaii, USA.
Today was our fifth day of the trip and with a decent forecast until later in the day we headed to Sorrell and Richmond for a day of caching and sightseeing. We also had our "13 Years of Caching" event scheduled at the Hobart Brewery at 5:30 pm. We had five Multicaches, three Virtual caches, 30+ Unknown caches, two sets of Adventure Lab and even some traditional caches on our to-do list.
With our time to head back to Hobart for our event was getting close, we decided to divide and conquer. I dropped Mrs. Seadog off by #9 and I headed back to a parking spot near #1. Thanks for a nice walk along the trail. tftc!!

We had hoped to do the Richmond Walking Trail when we were staing nearby, but in the end did not have the time. So we decided that once we had finished the things that we wanted to do today we would come back to Richmond to find these caches. As it happenes it was a lovely evening to do this walk, and we had just enough time to complete it in one direction before dark. We walked to the first one together, then one of us headed back up to the car, drove to the far end, then walked up the trail to meet in the middle.
No problems making the find here. Thanks.

Staying in Richmond for four nights to clean up on some of the caches in and around here. Beautiful day to be out and about, even if rain is forecast for this afternoon/evening. Parked on the bend in the road, watched the workforce planting thousands of grapes, and stringing wires for the rows on these massive acres of new vineyards. Hopped the fence to go downhill for four caches yet to log. All good at #8. Next please !
A great little walking track not far from my accomodation. After a day of cheese tasting and chocolate indulgence this stretch of caches was asking to be found. I really enjoyed the variety of caches; traditional, multi and puzzle (which I solved last night). All caches found in great condition. Thank you for placing these caches.
On the way through this series I looked for this one but couldn't find it. The wind was picking up so decided to leave it and have another look on the way back down the track.. Found it straight away second time around. Thanks for the series 63Roos - its been a lovely walk. Only one muggle on the track, so have had the time to look for each cache without being disturbed.
While caching in the area we found your cache along the way. A great trail to be done, an enjoyable walk down the track
Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks 63ROOS for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

In the Richmond area today and so we thought we would bring the kids bikes and do the walking trail. This one took some time. We searched a number of likely places but no luck. Took some more time to search and once we were looking in the right angle, we spotted it. TFTC
Now THAT one is a good hide! Had me searching for a bit there. I had to disturb some tiny furry cache guardians, and I don't think I would have been able to remove the cache and log the find without my "always carried" TOTT.
Hoping to knock Richmond over, but the day soon got away. So with a new cacher with me I started to teach him as much as possible in a day. So great caches in this area thanks for the cache owners for placing them.
Easy find Thanks for this cache

Just completed the last geoart trail that had been our primary targets of an impromptu trip to Tassie, found enough energy to grab a few more smileys as we headed back to a muggle friend’s for the night. Was getting late and to save some time, I kept the engine running, staying in the car to plot the next stop as J+J jumped the fence at each hide. Luckily contraflow traffic due to roadworks nearby, made pulling over easier. Timed well for all 9 and only once back in NSW did I realise we could have figured out #10 in the field to complete the set. Next time.
Great our enjoyed journey along around the Hobart and few countries. Lovely and relax walk the trail. Found your cache today. 63ROOS, thank you so much for placing it.
Grabbed this one after getting #9 and again it was a quick find.
Our second attempt at these and while at the local caravan park last night we solved the 2 mystery ones, thus completing the series.
Thanks.

Found with Mtrax on our mini holiday in Tassie! A nice cache here, but the continuous jumping of the fence was a little tiring - thanks 63ROOS.
On our tour through Tassie we visit Richmond. After the big event yesterday is it today more quite. So we walk the track from cache to cache. The wind is a little bit cold, but the cache are fine.
Thank you and greetings from Germany send Moorhelmi

Out for a quick cache run with FWBs, so this was the first of 20. Taking us through Richmond, Sorell and Midway Point before heading home. The long and winding trail, be interesting to know how much other foot traffic it gets besides geocaches.

We’ve visited historic Richmond today.
We have visited these caches far away from all the tourists.
Thank you

Despite only living 15 odd kilometres away and travelling this road on many occasions we had no idea this walking trail existed until these caches were placed by 63ROOS. Thank you for bringing our eyes back into the area we live and we really enjoyed picking up and logging these caches today. Finished the series and enjoyed the exercise. TFTC.
A morning at the mountain with wonderful weather and best views.
And in the afternoon we visited Richmond with this super walking track. We solved all the puzzles and so we could find all the boxes, all in best condition.

After lunch we decided we would go and complete the walking trail. A nice and easy walk with all quick finds.
Today I got mum our and took her caching, after missing some caches in Richmond the other week with JLROCKSTAR I thought we would come back down and clean up the area. A nice couple of multis and a great walking trail was thoroughly enjoy with some local ice cream at the end. Total of 21 finds with no DNFs.
I am currently writing detailed logs because of a challenge provided by Project-GC. "The Author" Badge challenges geocachers to average one hundred words or more in each log. Given that I have found so many GC caches, I have to write many logs with well over 100 words for a long period of time to get my average to the target. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that I can strive to attain this challenge. After over 5000 plus caches (which includes all cache finds up and including yesterday), the average log length is just over 70 words. I am now entertaining the possibility that I might be able to achieve my task before the end of next year. It's surprising how much is has increase since doing this.

Parking at S 42° 44.048 E 147° 28.194 we wandered down the hill collecting caches on the way this one is very well camouflaged and a nice hide again. Thanks 63Roos
Today marked our second trip to Richmond over the summer break. As with last time, the plan was simple: stop by the lolly shop, then set out to find a few of the caches in the Richmond Walking Trail series that we didn't make it to last time.
This was our second find of five along the trail today. It was an uncomfortably hot day, but putting that aside we definitely had some fun exploring a little further along the trail than last time!

Tassie Trip Day 85 - Today was a day to just grab something local to begin and try to catch up on the logs for the past couple of day however the caching was done but then it was a trip to the shops for something that got left behind when we left home. These things happen but hey thats life.
This was a great series to do so 10 caches and of those a great mix some traditionals some multi's and mysteries it was a nice day and a good day to get the bicycle back on the ground as not many places to ride and cache for some time.
It was a very nice spot and the cache was retrieved and that log signed and returned to its place of hiding.
Thanks 63ROOS for placing this series.

After getting a first to find on your new cache Ring RING we headed over to Richmond to do your Richmond Walking Trail of caches. We enjoyed solving the puzzles, the walk, albeit a bit cool, and working out the multis. There was a good variety of hides and the coords were spot on. A lovely trail of caches! TFTC
Had a spare day with nothing to do, so decided to get out and do some caching and these caches fitted the bill perfectly.
Great Series which was well worth the walk
