Loved the ease of finding the cache. A surprise to see it was full of ants and their nest! A slight negotiation with the ants, and log soon signed.We stayed at the Finch Hatten Show grounds last night. A busy campground not realising they had a country music festival going on in the hall there. All good as room to set up and entertainment as a bonus. A pretty location in the hills and that iconic NQ scenery. A late start to the morning with some puzzle solving and collection of them before we left. Pinnacle was a great stop advertising Australia's best pies, well... is it really? Only one way to find out, and yes, they are a treat to try!Fueled up and ready to cache it was into Mackay for a black sand earthcache and coastal scenery. A strange yet fascinating sight but good to understand this black sand more.Caching along the way of different types as we passed, pulling into a busy rest stop half way between Mackay and Rockhampton after dark. Thanks for your cache to enjoy on our travels!
Finished another long trip around Australia. The 6th. Next up to Townsville to grab the Palm Island LGA. Only 2 LGAs to complete Australia.Firstly heading back south for some Canberra time.TFTC. Camped at the showground of Finch Hatton for the night. There happen to be a country music festival on right there. Bands played late into the night.A slow start in the morning getting some Jigidies done. Then it was back into Mackay to finish the last Earth Cache. Now heading south to Rockhampton to find lots of ECs, Virtuals and Ad Labs... and of course any other type that looks interesting, or not.Yikes. So many ants.
Mirani staying at the caravan parkA day out caching with Mrs Snakepitter, we had wanted to revist Seaforth as we had camped here many years ago. The campground was crowded with campers.We found a few caches here then continued onto the other bays beforw caching our way home.Thanks geocaching_mackay for hiding this cache.
Caching in the area we pick up a few caches along the way and this was one of them.
Enjoyed exploring the area, cache and contents were in good condition.

Out doing some touring around with ewokkowe thought we'd grab a cache for the day, turns out I already found this one on the 26/7/18 and forgot to log it.

TFTC. Making our way north for the Townsville Mega. We left Mackay this morning heading for our overnight stop in Bowen. A lovely day for a drive. Along the way we stopped to find the odd cache, we do not have a plan to target any. We did a detour to complete this little loop.
Another easy find while sight seeing.
Had been dislodged from it home so replaced after signing my name and collecting another smile.
Out with the muggle mother and sister revisiting the old times.
All in good condition

Today we thought we would head out to try and log a FTF and the Adventure Lab point at The Leap. Of course we also had to find all the other caches we passed on our route as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip, but missed out on a couple because they didn't pop up on our (stupid) Drive Smart until we were heading somewhere else..
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found this cache pretty close to where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Dropped Trackable:** "Racing to be amazing".

I took a drive out along Northumberland Road today 
I was interested in buying an hotel out this way

Found on way back to Mackay from seaforth weekend. Found this one but have no scribble stick... I will be back lol.
Found the cache on the ground, as the duct tape had let go. replaced with cable ties. Cheers. T4T$
Quick find today with the geo family as we headed west for the day to Finch Hatton Gorge and beyond. Many thanks for the cache.
