I have looked for this before with no luck. However today armed with a clue and a bit more patience and time I found it. TFTC
Find number 14503 at 4:59:00pm on Monday the 21 October 2024We're on our way to WA Goes Big, travelling from Croydon (Melbourne, Victoria) with a caravan in tow and making a leisurely caching holiday across the Nullarbor and back.Well, WA Goes Big is done for another year and we are on our way home again now, via Perth, Kalgoorlie and the Nullarbor but slowly over the next five weeks Today we headed off from Whyalla on our way to Peterborough via Port Augusta grabbing a few more local geocaches as we go.Another quick find before going to the pub for dinner.**Thanks for placing this cache froghoppin**---*WOW, so much happening at home in Victoria*Dont forget to log your will attend for Victorias first ever Block Party in March 2025, the [**The Sunbury Event**](https://coord.info/GCAP417).Theres also all those lists of amazing geocaches at [Geocaching Victorias List webpage]( https://geocachingvictoria.com.au/information/great-caching-lists), go check them out.
Continuing our journey east from WA and home to Vic. Had a great weekend at WAGB and now seeing the sights and ticking off LGA's.Ticking off unvisited LGA's after staying at Quorn overnight. Accidentally flicked the cache to the ground without much effort.TFTC TB's visited
Good day for some caching. Sunny, windy and very dry. Very happy to find another nano! Found with Lead n Lace. TFTC
After crossing the border from NSW we stopped here to stretch our legs. Our first SA cache! TFTCThe geokids found this pretty quickly.
A lazy day touring around Peterborough and the backstreets admiring a few kangaroos Lizards and Goats on our travles searching for these hidden boxes and the nasty (Blow up the factory) Nano's.All caches were in good condition unless stated otherwise. Thanks for the cache froghoppinFind Number 10812
This was difficult till we realised we were looking for a tiny cache! Thank you
Yay! Thank you for the hide. On my way from the Barossa Valley to Wilpena Pound on a stop for lunch. Good to find my number 101 find.
#5626 Our third "Express" cache for the day! toot toot! Getting quite late in the day so this was our last find in near on darkness. Fortunately the clue led us into the right area, although as we found out you still need to pick the correct side of the train. Thanks again froghoppin.
With a good hint the tiny cache was found. Staying the night in town after a long drive from flinders ranges. Tftc
Had an opportunity to stop by for a second time and happy to say we turned that frown upside down. Thanks for updating and replacing very happy to now have this as a fight.TFTC
Have to agree that with this much detail on where to find I do not think it is here anymore
We had a good look and the hint didn't help. Unfortunately we couldn't find it today.
Searched for way too long, given the hint, information and description and found nothing. So am positive it is gone as others have indicated.
Awesome! Heading to QLD from WA picking up a few LGAs on the way. Thanks COs for placing and maintaining late log
Hmmm last found over a month ago, difficulty rating and a clear hint. I think this one is gone unfortunately. Neither my son or I could find it
It's so easy to miss these caches.. Found after poking my eye in a place I didn't think was possible. TFTC froghoppin.
Stopped in Peterborough on the way to Port Augusta from Broken Hill.Used the nearby facilities and then checked to see if there were any caches nearby. 18m away! Was a quick search thanks to the hint. Never would have found it otherwise.SL TFTC
Well the sun had almost set but I thought I'd try for just one more cache as it wasn't far from the last one.Another beautifully restored historic train. Well done Peterborough District Council for restoring these trains and placing them on display and allowing the public to look around. Wish I'd had more time to do that. Another nano, and the hint well that didn't make sense. Except it did when I got to GZ, it was a perfect hint and made for a really quick find! What interesting data about the specifications of this train!TFTC # 5962
Took a few checks around and had to resort to the hint. Nice you can climb aboard this one.
The best thing about going on the occasional work field trip is that you can do some caching when you finish for the day. This was done at night, along with a few others. Cache was found quickly thanks to the clue and torch light. TNLN. Cheers.
A quick stop in Peterborough on our way to the Flinders to change drivers and have a short rest. Thankfully there was a hint, otherwise we probably wouldn't have found this one. TFTC
#800 ~ I agree with the last cacher about nanos but I did manage to find the right tiny little bit of metal on such a large engine TFTC froghoppin!!
Bloody Nanos! Spawn of satan. Burn down the Nano factory, and exterminate anyone who sells Nanos.Quick find here. We took the liberty of replacing the log roll so it's good to do now. Tftc
Needs a new log, so I took a photo instead. Second go to find it. Thanks for the cache.
Boston my geohound and I are on a huge adventure from Canberra to Port Augusta for my Dad's 80th birthday and today was the trek back via Peterborough where my Dad use to live 20 odd years ago and I was keen to grab a cache and this one was across the road from the pub he use to run so I had to grab it. I got to gz and read the hint and found quite easily. The log book was full so I squeezed my initials (DD) between a log and took photo and sent to CO. This is a great spot with lots of history .... dn hot today .... 45 degrees so was happy to get back to the air-conditioned car. Tftc Frighoppin
This one was an easy find find. Having a look around Peterborough and enjoying the history. TFTC
Another completely full log. squeezed my name at the beginning over the geocaching logo. tftc
I had a lovely walk around this beautiful town this afternoon and collected a handful of caches in the process. Fascinating buildings and architecture some in great condition others not so.Made a quick find here.SL TFTC
Quick find although these ones usually elude us. Probably just got lucky using a bit of experience. Nice area.
Travelling with richlink from Perth to Darwin up along the west coast and home again through the centre and the Nullarbor, picking up caches as we go. Based in Peterborough, we are exploring some of the surrounding area. Thanks foghoppin.
Travelling with iluvtrekking up the WA coast to Darwin, down the Centre and in the Flinders. Basing ourselves in Peterborough for a few days to grab finds in the surrounds. Thanks froghoppin
TFTC such an interesting town. Nice to see the rail heritage is being kept alive.
While staying in Jamestown we enjoyed today caching in Peterborough and Yongala. Peterborough seems to be ‘Nano Central’ and as these types of hides are definitely our nemesis, and not our favourites we weren’t surprised to end up with a few DNF’s….even with comprehensive hints
Hop aboard the Frog express no 82, we actually did hop aboard this one, thanks froghoppin for this series tftc
TFTC and a nice quick find thank goodness before some muggles started walking around it. A lovely old train.

Found with Coybear2000. We'd come to Peterborough to visit the Steam Train Museum. We stopped here to get our bearings and decided to try for the cache. C read the hint and soon had CIH. Log signed and all replaced and as we headed back to the car we noticed a couple of rind necked parrots in a tree. Then it was off to the museum. TFTC.
Stopped in Peterborough to find the train museum. Parked nearby and after a short search had CIH. Log signed and returned. Saw some ring necked parrots in a tree on the way back to the car. TFTC
