Nice new containers and log. Not sure how secure it will be in that position so I tried to clip it into place. Noted that the church gardens are really nicely kept. TFTC
One of a last couple of caches found before departing New Plymouth. Quickly found thanks to good coordinates and a helpful hint. Was rather exposed so hid a little better in the vegetation but will still be easy to find. Thanks Phronimos for this smiley.
Staying not far away. Decided to go a grab this in the dark. Is probably the coldest night for the year, the air is icy cold. Placed my hand on it in the dark and thought well that was easier than I thought it was going to be. A hurried walk back to the motel before hypothermia set in. TFTC
Sorry the DNF was a slip! Firstly I was looking at the wrong crack on the wrong corner. Cos its been a long day lol. Made me look extra dodgy lurking on the corner like a creep Catching a couple of caches after work, wanting around the Lights of Matariki around town. Great little hide, mihi ki a koe mo te keteroki Phronimos
Geocache replaced to where it should be... with a replacement log. Thank you Juty Bug
A quick find, but time was added waiting for a moment to grab it lol log book is missing though, so I couldn't sign.
After grabbing some fuel for the car, and some (Maccas) for me I headed her for a quick find. Right, no more stops until Paritutu reserve Multi final (not up for the climb today)It's head home today after a couple of nights at Urenui beach. A nice long weekend in Taranaki was just what I wanted, too many times previously it's just been a time-constrained day visit and have never really scratched beyond the surface of the area, or the caching. I was keen to head home via SH45 surf highway and a couple of other caches. Also keen to up my cache finds by the CO Phronimos, and this was a Pheeding Phrenzy as I got a few of his, as a CO I'm aiming to get finds by him up to triple figures, today will help with that aim. Phanks very much to all regional COs for their placements and maintenance/choices of awesome places to get people to visit.
Thank goodness for the hint but we got there, after looking like creeps for awhile. Fun find! Signed the book and swapped out the thingy
Such a good find. Right where clue says. If lights a red, everyone looks though wondering what ya doing lol
Dieser Cache konnte heute erfolgreich geloggt werden.Danke an den owner fr's legen und pflegen TFTC Schmerzbefreit
As traveling through New Zealand this month, I'm trying to find a few caches along the way.Stroling up and down Devon Street we found a GC was just around the corner! Quick find. Afterwards we headed to The Three Sisters Brewery to have dinner! What a neat place! You should definitely taste their beers!
Overnight visit to New Plymouth to see the TSB FOL excellent must see and why not pick up a cache at the same time.
Day 17: Farewell to TaranakiTodays trip was the journey back to Auckland from New Plymouth, along SH 3 and SH 1, picking up whatever caches that was convenient along the very long drive back. There were a few fun finds (especially around Piopio and interesting stops in small towns that we would have other missed on the road back. Thanks for all the fun!(End of the cut and paste bit)Heres the specific log for this cache: First find of the day as we were leaving New Plymouth. The early hour meant that there was a convenient parking spot nearby, and some poking around in the ivy revealed the cache after a little bit of trouble. Nice big cache for an urban area here. TFTC!
One last one in the cold, wet, windy rain. My choice which and I found this one first . Now time for ice cream because ... holidays!
Accio 19:29:45Nearing the end of our fantastic North NZ touring holiday, T4mmmy and I are now heading from south to north for our flight tomorrow. Quick find here following the hint. Thanks Phronimos for entertaining me at this location. *{Overall find #11866}*
This geocache container IS A 150ml Sistema BOX as originally placed. I could not find any bison. And it now contains a log. No idea why it didn't.
It's no longer a box, but a camoed bison. Well done OceanMediterane on finding the original cache. So it was there all the time, as I suspected.
Find it but the box is empty and not precisely around the crack corner be careful about the hint MPLC 358
Moved to the corner by the crack. Should be easier to find here.
Stealth very much required. Camoed bison

The obvious spot, judging by signs of other searchers was empty. Tried a couple of other options, but no luck,
A quick find for the cache but the cupboard was bare - no logbook. Have popped in a waterproof replacement until the CO can do a maintenance run. TFTC.
It’s been recommended by GCHQ this cache “might need some attention”.
As per the hint... this should be an easy find as attested by previous finders.
Because of the GPS bounce off the buildings and bank I thought I made the hint pretty explicit... "Stay on footpath beneath the Phoenix palms. Reach in. Last Agapanthus."
As I’ve also stated in the hint you have to be stealthy due to the traffic at this location.
Incidentally the cache was placed here as it's the only location in Taranaki of Phoenix palms, not on private property.
Regards, Phronimos"
