Down the coast for a weekend, weather was very warm and so we did spend a fair amount of time at the beach and in the water. Some walking around the headland was not to be missed. Overall a nice and shady walk.
After a DNF on the previous one we were not keen to trample too many plants without knowing where we were aiming for. Luckily cache was spotted after a short way in. So back out and in somewhere else and around we went to retrieve and sign. Took a TB and left a TB.
Thank you dghoffy for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

visiting the area and out for a bike ride and this was nearby road pretty close to GZ and a short bush bash to GZ.. nice spot it seem a bit exposed but off the beaten track , Wet logbook so had trouble signing log.
thanks
thanks
I found this cache, but, as noticed by previous finders, the log book was missing. I wrote my name on a piece of paper and left it in the nice sized container.
Ocw the Bebes to clear a few on this lovely Xmas day. Long grass on warm day so watching out for bitey sticks! Found no problem once at GZ but no log inside. Tftc
OCW PelDroedGwin and geodog Peppa
After a Christmas morning brekkie we decided to take a walk and work up an appetite for a feast later.
Followed a geotrail straight to to this one.
Logbook was missing and we didn’t have spares with us today so logged on a piece of bark as TB + PDG

Easy find, it helped that there had been other cachers to day leaving me a clear path in the high grass.
Quick little side mission into the greeney found us this cache, log was unfortunately wet so we signed a 'M' into the lid of cache. TFTC
Log checked, no surprises with this weather log was slightly damp but ok to keep on signing.
Quick find o our walk to the point, wifes a bit jumpy here. Thinking the spiders are aftr her, lots of jumping and some squeals.
Thanks for maintaining the cache

Venture with geo hubby to the cache but trembling with freight because of the spiders. Even my phone vibrating in my hand made me jumped TFTC
We are on holidays from Wagga and really enjoying the areas around Merimbula. Thanks for placing these caches!
The GPS was jumpy for this but regardless,2 of the geo kids repeatedly walked past this with geo hubby finding this without the gps. Love it! Tftc
Out finding some caches on the this dreary morning, getting absolutely soaked! As per usual, took the difficult path in but but an easy path out! Easy find once inside, tftc!
Found log to be a bit on the damp side
Had to wait for some walkers to pass before returning to the track

So many blown down tea trees around here. Makes for a challenging bush bash.
Nice little hide. Thanks for the cache.
Nice little hide. Thanks for the cache.
A bit of bush bash was required but soon saw the cache, not 100% sure it is in the correct location but still replaced as found. TFTC!
Found in the open and the log sheet quite wet signed and placed where it maybe should have been Thanks for the cache Cheers
Second find for the day. Thanks for the cache. Such a lovely day for a walk by the coast.
We are continuing our walk. We got to this one, and, with multiple searchers, soon found it. I don't reckon it's in the right spot, and there is no scribing instrument here either, so another photo is coming your way.
This one was easier to get to, and food it in the open on the ground.
Replaced it very close to where it was found, hopefully where it originally was.
Its been a while since we have made it up to the southern New South Wales coast but we are back for a week or so. Haven't chosen our time well with all the wind an rain that is about but it is still great to be away. But this has been of benefit to the local cafes as we have visited a few!
With a bit of a break in the weather we thought it was time to head out and look for a few local caches. There is quite a bit of new activity in the area since we were last here and with most of it by D G Hoffy, we knew there would be good and varied hides on the agenda. We weren't disappointed!
We managed to dodge most of the heavy showers during our time out and were treated to some magnificent scenery. All in all a great day.

Took family on a fat busting walk but failed to mention the geocaches on the way. Nice quick find just off the track.TFTC:)
Visiting Merimbula for couple days. We parked our van in Rotary park and went for nice little walk. We are not fans of bush caching so after some looking around we gave up and moved on, thank you anyways.
A nice series to do. A lot of places in Merimbula are closed due to the corona virus and we had some spare time on our hands.
Couldn't get the GPS to settle. Took a few minutes before spotted. Beautiful day. TFTC dghoffy.
Found with GrimRaider on a trip to the coast. Lovely walk along this nice flat track
Condition Report:. Good and dry
Log Status:. Lots of room

#16917. A little side trip today up to Merimbula for just a few caches with Robmc. Took the long drive there and the extremely short way back to Pambula for lunch and then back to Twofold Bay.
More off-track searching and thankfully Rob found this one fairly quickly. I am over walking and bush-bashing for the day. Time to head back to my favourite little deli in Pambula for lunch and supplies.
Thanks dghoffy

Day six of Xmas in Eden with BettyBoo3747.
A short trip up to Merimbula, and a short walk along the Boardwalk. Popular place that!
It was a nice walk although it was windy away from the track.
An easier find here than the last one.
Thanks, Robmc.

Morning walk to the point. Quick find, cache in good order, thanks for placing.
After quickly logging noted that the list of finders in the notebook and other features suggested something amiss. Went back and found another container nearby. Seems I found the original! Signed the new one as well!

Drove all the way down to the far south for the park run in Merimbula. Left straight after work Friday and arrived late last night. This morning up early to do some caches before running and then a massive day of caching after that, doing a big loop in the area and ending up in Merimbula again. Good caches everywhere, thanks to the CO for placing them.

#5519 15th for today
I headed down the far south coast of NSW on a very last minute couple of days away. A recent injury (tennis elbow) has rendered me a bit bored, so a getaway was required. My usual geo-partner CC is slumming it up in Paris, so it was just me today. I found some last-minute accommodation at Merimbula and hit the road. I made a few stops on the way to break up the journey, but I have been down this way numerous times, so only a few new caches along the way. All in all, a very pleasant day, the breeze was a bit cool at times, but the variety and creativity of the caches made it well worth while.
I wasn't looking forward to another trip into the scrub, but it was much more successful this time.
Thanks dghoffy

Nice little weekend away with fitzy_1965 catching up with friends in Merimbula.
Spent a lovely night in Merimbula visiting (caching) friends...stayed up way too late but was worth it! LOL
This was a lovely walk out to the point with a few side steps along the way.

18,697. Found with minniek on a caching run down to Merimbula and region.
Heading down to Merimbula with minniek for some caching and to catch up with some good friends. After staying with some local cachers for a fun night of relaxing and talking all things
cashing we headed out this morning with a few goals in mind, mainly 2 walks - around Long Point and the bushland next to the Pambula Merimbula Country Club. This was the next find of the day. We really enjoyed this walk, although the many trees down made finding a few of the caches a challenge - especially this one.
Thanks dghoffy !!

Very nice trip around Merimbula. We started in the morning with the walk to Long Point. Thanks for several caches as the bonus to the nice walk. TFTC
Found 15/8/19 @ 2:34 pm.
Watching my steep a bit here, the weather has been amazing for the last couple of days and I've seen a couple of snakes about. Fortunately, none in this series.
Thanks dghoffy for the fantastic series.

Of course seeing that we completed the last one this was the next logical one to do.

Found by Mary and David at 09:05. A cold start to the morning, but the temperature is now up to 11 degrees. A lovely walk with the wind whispering in the tea tree. Gnarled and twisted branches reaching for the sky and, here and there, there were orange fungi. A FP. Dropped off "$20" TB. Our thanks to dghoffy.
