Early start today walking around Chifley, ACT, which is #68 in our Walk Canberras Suburbs series. Cache all good, Thanks mushroomandmoss for the new log sheet. Doesnt look like much practising taking place any more.
My target today was to visit and get caches in as many Canberra suburbs as I could. This was one of my finds. Thank you for placing and maintaining this cache. A muggle free find.
Not exactly a late-night find, but definitely after dark now that we're running on standard time.I still haven't amassed a mental collection of "definitely doable and vaguely in this corner of Canberra" caches that I can dip into on a whim, although this one would've been categorised into its "probably only if it's nighttime" subsection.Instead, it was identified following a hasty and haphazard zoom around the map where I initially thought the structure here on satview was a drain entrance upon first glance, demonstrating how well I've been conditioned by [@Loci612](https://coord.info/PRC234K), [@EthisEthat](https://coord.info/PRZ5YEW) et al.Instead, it was actually far more convenient for tonight's escapades given the high likelihood that gz would be empty. With no one out around the nearby houses, it was a quick stroll over where I initially inspected the wrong side and was surprised to not find the container I'd anticipated to be searching for.Adjusting to the other side hoping for a better angle of it, I soon discovered a material I should've anticipated in the first place, as well as the cache attached to it.The logbook was extracted and my name added to it before everything was replaced and tucked away. Thanks to GreyHams for this hide!
well hidden with some foliage! missed it the first few look arounds but eventually spotted. thanks!
Another day spent Pre-Mega geocaching. We spent the morning planning a Suburb Attack, some of which we completed today. We also started one of those horrible Sequential Adventure Labs that are so prevalent down here. Good hint - quick find. Log signed and cache replaced as found on March 20, 2024. TFTC, GreyHams
In Canberra now and today concentrating on the suburbs challenge.Caching with and signing with RoddyC hatzofff Imbunda.TFTCache GreyHams
This is quite a cool structure, in a way. I like how on one side there is a big hole torn into the metal fence, as if someone really, REALLY, didnt want to step two paces around the fence. Thanks for the cache!
Such cute hide! Thanks for brining us here! Chilly arvo but good excuse to leave the car!
That is rather a bizarre sporting structure! Not sure exactly what the wings are all about Found with Baristayan after a social gathering nearby. Thanks!
In Canberra for a few days after hubby had a fallen on some oysters, trying for a cache (obviously), needing some medical attention. It was a quick find with the hint but found container without a log. Replaced log. Thanks GreyHams for placing the cache and doing the maintenance needed, so we can find this cache.
Bringing back the cricket practice days of my youth. Really nice, quiet part of the Territory, leafy green and deserted today.
I found myself arriving at my hairdresser rather early, so I looked around to see what would be a quick find. How fortunate that I am in search of some 1.5/1.5 rated caches. This will do as it fills both requirements. It was indeed an easy find and the log now carries my name. And I still arrived early for my appointment. TFTC GreyHams
With nice weather, it was a good opportunity to grab a few caches.
We found a nice variety of hides, and all in good condition.
Signed and replaced as found.
Many thanks for placing this cache, GreyHams, and for us and others to find.

With a chance to collect two souvenirs, The Drovers and I decided on teaming up for a trip to Canberra. This was a great idea as there wasn’t any ‘Magic Marker’ events near us and for me personally to find at least 21 caches for the ‘Winter Solstice’ souvenir. We manly focused on caches which were meant to be quick and easy finds to maximize our numbers for the day. The event was great fun too. Most caches found were quick and easy to find. However, there was a few which took a little longer to find. All found caches were **signed as 'JM&TD'**. We decided on mixing and matching the caches and this means a few revisits for either them or me. They ended up with 28 finds and I ended up with 31 finds plus a couple of DNF’s. TB visit on all found caches. I would like to thank all CO’s of the caches I found and for allowing them to bring the Geocaching community enjoyment. TFTE and TFTC’s!
Didn't have much time for geocaching today, so this was a nice quick find on my way through to other errands, allowing me to keep my streak going!
TFTC!

After leaving Canberra a year ago we came back for a weekend visit. Couldnt resist getting some more smiley faces! Got this one at 10pm so was easy to find without being spotted. Great little hide TFTC!
Out on a run with LuckyL10n and this was our next stop. No issues here and the cache was soon spotted. Once signed we replaced the hide a little better to ensure anyone playing nearby wouldn't see it.
Thanks again GreyHams...

A nice easy find for a needed hidden date for me. The log book is chock-a block but squeezed my name in. TFTC.
This cache is located next to a lovely mural that has the words ‘COVID is a lie’ situated nearby
Very bold hide. But it appears to have lasted. Covered up a bit of departure.
Thanks for the cache.

Easy find. Cache has had some water ingress and the log is pretty soggy though…
