Decided to escape town for a few days to do some exploring and get off the couch after a lazy weekend. Packed the car and headed north!
Golly gosh I believe this goodie is the last in the great alphabet trail. Unfortunately it looks as though a few of the letters have succumbed over the years but a good chunk of the alphabet still to find. Thanks for a great series.
The log on this cache was soaked.
Thanks msbergz for the cache.

Found easily enough but the container was full of water which I tipped out. But the log was useless. Made a blue smudge on it Definitely needs maintenance msbergz

Nice little walk in the bush to an easy find. However log is so wet and disintegrating that only a few letters of our log will show up. In desperate need of maintenence
i thought i logged this last year did someone delete my log grr tftc however with catherinec19
Cache is damp/wet and needs new log as it’s all wet and mouldy. Couldn’t find a spot without playing in it to much to sign log
Today was a bit different as I had to drop the rig off for warranty work and this series was nearby Highlights included getting locked out of the car (Hello RACV), snagging a heap of caches , exploring some rough dirt tracks, discovering the Eaglehawk Bakery (mentioned in another cacher’s log) ️ and having a Yes I can! moment later in the day as a new skill came to fruition. Surprised there are no hints but all of the coords were bang on GZ Didn’t stop me spinning around sometimes

I was in town and decided to tackle this series as I was not far from it. This one was soaked and I could not write on the logbook. Just a bit from the car to have a replacement on me.
Last find for the day on my search for this series. Nice big cache. Shame I didn't bring any path tags or swaps today. TFTC msbergz
Found by Mary and David at 15:45. Concerned about caching friends impacted by fires. Our thanks to msbergz.
After a wonderful time at St Arnaud Mega on our way home we decided that a night or two in bendigo would be a nice spot to stop and after deciding to grab a few cache we decided on the alphabet series just to say it is done and the series was completed and a report to the police provided after finding an abandon car in the bush whilst caching this series.
We started this and soon had the feeling of this series all the cache were found in good condition and with one exception are ready for the next finder the only one is in need of a new log however there is room for the next finder to place a new piece of paper in the container.
There were some interesting containers and great placement of the caches.

After a last minute cancellation of my SES plans for the weekend, I jumped in with steeba who was heading to the Victorian Mega for the weekend. With little planning we managed to pack in a whole lot of caching and driving for our 3-day trip.
Driving by night and caching by day we visited Bendigo, St Arnaud, Echuca and Wagga, just to name a few places. Thanks to all the cache owners and event organisers for a fun filled weekend.

found this about a week ago with tytaylor19!! our last cache of the alphabet series!! thank you so much for this wonderful series, we had such a great adventure finding them all
On our way to attend The St Arnaud Event 2019, stopped in Bendigo for the night.
With an early start to the day, we managed to pick up 37 caches, before lunch.
We really enjoyed this series, and a favourite point given.
Many thanks for placing this cache, msbergz, for us and others to find.

I finally had a spare moment to come and find the last two letters of this Alphabet series today after dropping my son at school. After a bit of artful dodging of ruts and puddles I drove within 74m of the cache and it was a nice quick find after that. Thank you msbergz for bringing me here and for the cache!

On the hunt for caches this arvo, made a start on this cache series, found most caches easily, before needing to get back home! Thankyou for making and maintaining this series, looking forward to finding the rest before we leave bendigo!
Heading to St. Arnaud for the mega event next month. Day 62 of our trip. Caching along the way. A total of 24 for the day and 1772 for the trip. TFTC
In town for a family wedding and with plenty of time before the ceremony, I decided to try and fit in some caching. After completing the milestone series a little further away and still some time on my hands, I decided to make a start on the alphabet series and some other nearby caches. This was an enjoyable area to explore before my time ran out, an area I would not have come to if it were not for caching.

It has been a while since Neville_devil, AusFox; and myself have been out for a big caching trip but today was the day that would change as we headed up the Calder for some caching in the Bendigo direction.
Ausfox's Ford Mondeo being so low to the ground, probably wasn't the best vehicle to work our way along some the roads around here but with careful wheel positioning we made our way to all the spots we attempted.
Thank you msberz for the cache and sorry for the late logging time gets away sometime when life gets busy

It had been a while since our last caching trip, so Simsfamily, Neville Devil and I headed up to Bendigo to tick a few boxes and visit new locations with perfect weather.
We started at A then Z, then to G. Zigzagging between letters to find the best routes.
Log signed and replaced as found.
Thanks for the cache msbergz

An excuse to go caching with omegaman, Snap Happy and the Empire while finding some of the lost jewels from the museum, up here around Bendigo. Picking up some great gems and different hides along the way. Most of the logs were signed Team Happy. We had some fun and laughs while doing this series. Some were more of a challenge than others but all achieved in the end.
Thanks msbergz for all the effort of placing the cache for us to find and doing the maintenance to keep it in play

Cheers for the awesome series and a day full of laughs and great caching.
Log sighed as Team Happy!

In Bendigo to hang out with Snap Happy, Happy Pants and OmegaMan to finish this Mystery at the Museum promotion. Some of the caches were stamped but most were signed as Team Happy! We were Team Happy as we finished the promotion and collected the final souvenir, before lunch, that's for sure! The Alphabet series was good to complete as a group - some of the tracks were fun and some of the caches were challenging to find. Thanks for the cache, and the series msbergz.

I'm finding it hard to remember each of these caches, even though we only did them today. We really enjoyed our time wandering around the bush before heading back to Melbourne at the end of the day. Please excuse the generic logs, and thanks very much for creating this series.
Find No. 2594. Found at 3.35pm.
A days outing in the ute with Geodog Penny on board, who loves walking in the bush areas.
First up we called into the Wedderburn Swap Meet for a look around then it was onto Bendigo to complete the Burger Series and the Alphabet Series.
With the Berger Series completed it is now off to do the remaining Alphabet Series we have left.
After completing four up in the bush area it was back onto a dirt road to find the next six along this road, which were all quick and easy to find.
Now we backtrack to J and find the last 8 we have left in the series.
Heading to J meant we had to cross a steep creek so Mr Tyred n Cranky checked it out to see if it was suitable for the ute - all was okay today so back into the ute and off we went.
At G being up in the bush a bit further it meant Penny could get a longer walk and sniff at more things. Another hide, being creative with the way it was covered up and also the log book was different to all the others.
We are giving this cache a fav point for three reasons:- Size, camoflague and log book. We loved it.

Toady we moved to Bendigo stopping at the caravan park for a few days.
We decided to do the Alphabet series being the closest caches to where we are staying.
We loved our drive through the bush, glad there had not been too much more rain.
Thanks for placing this cache msbergz

After spending the night camping at Notley Campground we set off early (for us) to tackle a couple of local series. With our Burger now complete and consumed it was time to learn our alphabet all over again!
We had a Great time finding your Geocaches today, Good hides in a Great hidey holes.
Thanks msbergz for the effort put into this series, we had an enjoyable time working through the alphabet. A favourite for the series.

Found while in Bendigo for the day with my Clarmensma family (becca85, GemmaSistema, boo09, Ad & Luke). TFTC!
I have now officially completed the series.
Thanks for the time and effort in placing these.
School holidays yet again, Team Clarmensma (myself, GemmaSistema, boo09, neisha07 & the Sistema boys) jumped in the Prado for some adventures in Bendigo.
An event to start us off, we caches the day away until event #2 and dinner time then decided to keep going by torchlight, not getting home until midnight.
An enjoyable day spend with good company. TFTC

Quick find here and we navigated our way in.
With the school holidays upon us becca85 and I teamed up with our posse of geokids (AdamSistema, LukeSistema, neisha07 & boo09) to form TeamClarmensma (which we signed the logbook as). We could only manage a day trip so decided to meet in Bendigo and cache up a storm. We started in town before heading out of town towards Whipstick then coming back in. A great day was had with only a few DNFs and some amazing clever containers. Thanks to all the cache owners for their efforts - we really appreciate it.

A little spider made my hubby throw the contents everywhere. Collected & trackable left.
Gee, that’s a nice size cache. Just right for leaving a green grasshopper inside. SL at 8.40am #5917 TFTC msbergz
Found it. Caching while I wait until I can see my dad in hospital. Getting terrible hot tho!
I've had my eye on these geocaches for a little while, just had to find some time to go get them. Wanted to try out my new mountain bike so what better way to spend the cooler day than riding and geocaching! A short ride from home had me in the thick of the caches, found all I was looking for today, quality geocaches. Left a couple to find another day. TFTC

We are heading north towards the Barcaldine event and decided to stop in Bendigo last night and then grab a few caches here today and this series fitted the bill nicely.
We are glad that we are still not going to school because although we started at "A" we certainly didn't follow through in alphabetical order.
We can say that we really did enjoy driving through the bush picking up the caches, a lot of the times just guessing what track to take that might get us close. The spring growth is happening and we saw plenty of small but vivid colored flowers, some bight green patches which you don't often see around this area and the yellow wattle brightening up the bush in every direction.
We appreciate the effort, time and expense gone into placing this series but doing so many so quickly they get a bit mixed up but we will do our best to write something about the ones we remember.
"G" is for Good Golly and that's what we thought when we found this cache in the first palce we looked.
Many thanks msbergz for a very enjoyable series in a very nice part of the world.

With the beautiful weather we had today, we decided to what better way to spend it and team up with Taaralee and all our geokids. After finishing off the Berger Series we thought we would see how far we could get on the A-Z challenge. Unfortunately we ran out of day light and time, so we will be back to finish off the last few of the A-Z series. TFTC and helping us have a fun and adventurous day
