Brrr. What a cold start I had several hours before I needed to move on to catch up with some friends and what better way to use that time than geocache. I chose the alphabet series to explore and thoroughly enjoyed finding many of them. While I found this one the lid was extremely tight and despite a solid struggle was unable to open the cache. Took photo of proof TFTC msbergz
After our quick trip home we arrived back in Bendigo, looking forward to a bit more relaxed time with a mixture of caching and sightseeing. It was raining overnight again but fine this morning so we took the opportunity to get out in the afternoon once things had dried out a bit. That was very optimistic as most of the caches we sought were on bush tracks and quite muddy.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache bushaa88.**SKI Pair****
Found with Grubbs1337 and ITWimdy. ??A great day out with Dad and his mate. Thanks for the cache ??
I collected some in this series so years ago on a previous visit. Decided to get some more today. This was one we got to. TFTC.
Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. In Bendigo for a very brief visit as we wend our way towards Canberra for the Mega.TFTC msbergz [^]
TFTL SL - In Bendigo for a few days on a girls golf trip. Im injured so Im caching while the other girls play Whos having more fun?Cache log is a bit damaged due to getting wet but its dry now and in pretty good nic considering
We have business in Bendigo today and as the weather is attempting to be fine we decided to head out to where the Alphabet Series are. Some of the roads in the area are pretty good while others are downright yuk. The co-ords on the caches are mainly OK and the cache containers are in reasonable condition. SL TFTC
Yesterday, I made a start on the A - Z Series on my mtb but ran out of time logging......
This was my #10 in the series & I was back on a roll. I might make my coffee date afterall......
Many thanks

A cool morning and the beginning of my attempt to get all letters of the alphabet in one day.
The JAMS team (JJ52 allister w, mogni and sir_spectre) were on a road trip heading to the Rutherglen Mega event (staying in Corowa) for 3 days then winding our way home via Albury, Wangaratta, Bendigo and various other places in between. It was a great week with many more caches found than we expected. There were targeted caches, challenge caches, Ad Labs, events and various others to fulfill various statistics for the four of us. We were lucky with the weather, it rained a bit on our way over on Friday, then half a day after we left Wangaratta but on the whole it was great caching weather. We did drive a few slippery muddy roads, but nothing too bad. We also caught up with lots of people either at events or out in the field and enjoyed many great chats. All in all a fun time with lots of Victoria explored and then very tired when I arrived home. [^]
Today was our last full day before heading home and we concentrated on finding caches for the Bendigo A-Z Challenge. Did lots of driving and found a few others along the way.
Thanks for the cache msbergz.

Stamped as JAMS - JJ52, alllister w, mogni, sir_spectre. All of these teams are from South Australia and after some major planning we managed to find approx 700 caches while being away for a week. Also qualifiied for a variety of challenges, found LGA's and had lots of laughs. Found while attending the Victorian Mega in Rutherglen.
Thanks
Thanks
Came down for the letter N. Stopped and stamped when we passed this cache. We had to walk 890 meters down the road to the letter N since the road was really wet and only open to locals.
Found with JAMS (( JJ52, Allister w, Mogni, plus sir_spectre ) Mitchell&hound wasn't with us this trip) crew. All logs stamped as JAMS to save log space. This trip we are off to the Rutherglen Mega and then slowly coming back to S.A. for a total of 8 dys and 7 nights. The targets of this trip are for JJ52 to get 11 more multi to get to 1000 multi's and a few more Victorian LGA's, Allister W was targeting 17 virtuals ( or as many as he could get ) a few more Victorian LGA's Mogni to make the Rutherglen Mega her 20, 000 find and also for her to complete all Victoria LGA's, sir_spectre needs 1 more multi to get to 1000 multi's and get his Victoria LGS's down to 2 LGA's left. We got 20 or more finds in a LGA if we stayed in there over night. We also detoured to stamp any challenge caches that we were " in the general area off " and to complete that challenge before we came back to S.A. This meant that some times dirt road (s) had to be walked down because they were to wet to drive down and/or haven't been repaired since last years flooding. We started off the holiday in the rain and then that cleared up only to start raining and a overnight thunder storm but most of the trip was dry. Over 600 caches found for the trip including over 120 lab stages in that total. Got to complete the GPS Maze at the Rutherglen Mega for a 2nd time. Allister w was the team driver for all of the Victorian part of the trip. I think this was the first trip ever to Victoria that the extension pole didn't get used but the 6.2 meter ladder did get a work out.

The JAMS (JJ52, allister w, mogni and sir_spectre) go mega... We came, we cached, we laughed, we hugged and we had a great time. All caches were replaced better than found. But like all good things it must come to an end and so we started our way home, it only took 5 days....
Thanks to msbergz from mogni

I had been thinking about a trip to Bendigo for over a month so that I could find My centroid cache and with an event in town this weekend plans were made to do a few days caching with My good mate Omegaman1971.There are always plenty of laughs while we are turning caches into smiles.
This is one of the caches found today.

Quick find, roads very dry now, log is soggy and growing mold, we left the lid off to let it dry out. Tftc
A short walk from the last cache down a very muddy road and I arrived at the next cache! A nice little find.
The road heading towards this cache was flooded and rutted so I decided to walk. Quite a few Rainbow Lorikeets and Musk Lorikeets to be seen. I found the container very quickly. It looks like the others in this series will have to wait. Thanks to msbergz for the cache.
TFTC- walking along a dirt road with lots of big puddles due to recent rain. Helped by team Spunkyspunk
Arrive in Bendigo today for a few days caching. Completed what we could of this series that was still alive. Nice to be out in the bush areas. Lots of different types of caches found. TFTC
A birthday caching trip to celebrate another trip around the sun! Thanks for the adventure and range of caches!
A couple of hours spare time on an astronomy weekend, so I went into Bendigo and had a go at the Alphabet Series.
Seems to be only 22 letters left in this alphabet, and I missed finding only one.
Parked the car and downloaded the deadly treadly and it made a really nice ride to all the caches.
Thanks for this series.
Thanks, Robmc.

A fabulous day of caching with Posums around Bendigo saw us at this cache. Nice to tick off this series. Lots of Bush tracks but easy enough finds. Thanks for the cache and the effort in placing.
Staying up at Castlemaine for the weekend and I mentioned to GemmaSistema that I would be staying up this way, so Gemma made a trip up to here and we met up in the morning and then spent a fantastic day around the outer suburbs of Bendigo.
Plenty of laughs, Bush tracks, a couple of Lab caches thrown in and of course lots of other caches found along the way, ending with a couple of pizzas for tea in the Castlemaine Botanical Gardens
A great day out was had.
My copilot and navigator suggested that we should have a look at the alphabet series around here so off we went.
Lots of bush tracks were used to get to a lot of these, a bit of fun along the way.
Letter R was soon located so 14 off the list.
Thanks msbergz TFTC.

Out for a day's caching with my muggle friend who's showing me up all day by finding the caches first.
This was a great series for us as we both love walking through the bush, and actually observing the wildlife around us. Plenty of roos and a couple of hawks kept us entertained between searching for some very creative and clever hides.
Thanks for a great series msbergz, this one was another good hide

Decided to escape town for a few days to do some exploring and get off the couch after a lazy weekend. Packed the car and headed north!
Raced to this cache which revealed itself really quickly. Ready and raring to go to recover the next one.
Thanks msbergz for the cache.

On a family getaway to Bendigo and surrounds. On the way back from finding a nearby large cache, and some of the alphabet series could be made to be on the way. The road was marked as closed at the previous cache, so we left the car and found it and walked here.
A nice quick find in the obvious location.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache msbergz

Tftc! Bit tricky cuz it was very far down. We put it in a bit of an easier spot to get to.
We all played the nose game for who had to retrieve this one Hahahah but a good cache!!!
A bit wet today. Don’t attempt in the wet weather if you like a clean car or don’t like big puddles. TFTC
Our third find for the series. Three words that start with r reptile rhinoceros rabbit.
Good to be driving on this nice quiet track that is has some potholes in it due to the wet weather. Cache found.
