Reperio 08:10Day 4 of our tour of Tamworth/Armidale caching trip, and today, Master Vitruvius and I were able to focus on more of the cache closer to the Tamworth area. We had such a great time over the last few days finding plenty of caches. This one was quickly found along the way.Gratias Whitey WiskasAs a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV

Today was a very pleasant day out caching with ilook4geo. The caches we found had good information provided and were where they should be. This made it a fun day. Each log had two more names added to mark our find. Thanks so much to Whitey Wiskas for placing a good variety of caches to be found around the Tamworth area.
Today was a Whitey Whiskas day while caching with goingplaces2. It was a good day and a successful one. TFTC.
Found at 10:28 AM GAFF1.
Nice location - we could have camped here for a few days rather than going down to Woolomin.
Thanks Whitey Wiskas.

Caching with magpiecottage. First outing in a few months as the world changed around us. Lovely to be free to meander and geocache again. TFTC, Whitey Wiskas, SL, My find # 400
Tamworth and Amrmidale Trip March 2020. Day 4. I headed north with Fitzy_1965 along the New England Highway towards Tamworth. Today we decided to stay an extra day around Tamworth and as far away as Uralla. The day was mostly roadside caches, but they were all of differing levels of challenges, especially when you have to deal with Farmers Friends and Stinging Nettles at almost every cache.
Thanks for the cahe Whitey Wiskas

20,549. Found with albida33 during a meander up to and around the Tamworth and Armidale regions.
Day 4 of our trip. Headed out after breakfast for what turned out to be another big days caching. We aimed to hit some more of the trails around the region. Next stop of the day, and we came up with a quick find. Signed the log, replaced the cache, then, after having lunch here in the shade, headed off to the next one.

The recent rain has created some serious regrowth round gz but as it contained only a few stinging nettles I braved the wilderness for a find.
Found during a road trip from Brisbane to Adelaide with five days travelling and four overnight stops, via Ballina, Armidale, Tamworth (staying overnight), Bylong, Sofala, Bathurst (staying overnight), Cowra, Young, Cootamundra, Junee, Wodonga (staying overnight), Echuca (staying overnight), Kerang, Ouyen, Pinnaroo and on to Adelaide. With limited time for stops along the way , we targeted one or two caches in each of the LGA's we traversed, and a few extras at the overnight stops to boost the tally. I had a few hours to spare in the early morning so decided to complete a loop of caches near Tamworth before heading on our way. Thanks for the cache Whitey Wiskas!
Another of many WW caches during our day in and around Tamsworth. At first we stopped on the main road and looked down. we then realised that we could drive down to GZ, which we did. Stopped the car about 15 meters from GZ, but didn;t first know in which direction, We both run around like calves, until Hagar found it. We wonder what the other campes thought ...
This was the last WW cache for today, maybe we will find a few more tomorrow.

On our way to QOGM (Blackall) day 9 of our trip. 28 caches for the day and 348 for the trip. TFTC
Found while on a geocaching holiday with tmann421.
Enjoyed the trip around and all the great hides.
Stamped TM/WW NZ, or if in pen our full names

Nice trail of caches - wouldn't have come this way without them. Thanks for showing us around!
Day 2 of our visit to Tamworth and surrounds with IolantheK and doing a loop of caches to the SE of town.
No one around today so finding the cache was quick and uneventful. Thanks WWs.

The reserve was deserted today so we made an uninterrupted quick find. TFTC, Whitey Wiskas.

There is such a wonderful selection of caches around this area and this was one we targetted and found. We were impressed that caches were not missing and were well maintained. Thanks to Whitey Wiskas for hiding this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Heading inrto Tamworth to work closer to the next milestone. Out with Liz & Bruce who are working on their own milestone. cool start to the day

Lovely spot. Had to wait for a fishing muggle to leave before making a quick find.
Hi there Whitey Wiskas.
We towed the caravan from Armidale to Tamworth today. As it was a quick and uneventful trip, we decided to fill the afternoon by logging a few geocaches. There is some bloke camped here. He looks like he will be here a while!! [:(!]
We had a really fun afternoon driving around some of the nearby country roads. The caches were all well placed, and the for the most part the coordinates were pretty accurate. We can see that a lot of thought has gone into the placement of all the caches we found today.
All up we found 24 caches & DNF'd 0 in this cache run. Thanks for placing the caches. Without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places while we meander around Australia.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found this cache around 3m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Nothing.
Regards
Ian & Penny.

A lovely green and shady spot.
Had to do a bit of digging for the cache, lots of leaf litter and sticks.

Decided to stay in Tamworth for a day and find some of the caches in the area ..
Just as I picked up the cache, a person started to walk towards me, "What the ?!!" ..
He then introduced himself as a fellow cacher - IF ..
It was great meeting him and having a chat.
All Good .. TFTC ..

This reserve had a-Peel
And just after I stopped and began to wander over to GZ,
somebody drove in and parked their car next to GZ [:o]
i wandered closer and saw that the 'muggle' was exhibiting all the signs of actually looking for a cache
So I wandered over to say hello
Great to meet 'geoff511' and have a chat [^]
I had half expected to catch up,
as I had seen his name in the previous dozen caches I had found

Geo hubby used to bring the geo pup out here and go fishing when she was little. That would be six years ago. Never caught any fish but geo pup rescued a lot of leaves from the river. Always liked this area, peaceful spot. TFTC
This Reserve seems to a popular spot for fishing /swimming/camping.. Thanks Whitey Wiskas for the visit. Cache was located and signed..
Having a couple of nights at a farm stay, saw these new caches at Tamworth so decided to head south into Whitey Whiskers territory to dind them. The land is about as dry as I have ever seen it , the occassional green paddock certainly is a rare thing at the moment.
All were good quick finds that led us on a tour of the farming area.
Thanks for placing this cache Whitey Wiskas

Wow! what a great spot for overnight camping......beside the river with lots of shade in summer. Today there wasn't anyone here, it was also the least windy place we'd been all day. Even though the cache was easily found, unless you're looking for it you'd never notice it. TFTC Whitey Wiskas.
