Headed out to this one today, and fortunately the area was nice and dry, but with all the floods…would the cache still be there! After a first pass through, it wasn’t looking too good, however, a second closer look found the cache buried a little deeper under sticks and leaves. Great little spot for the hide.

*ALL CACHES signed as " **AB!** " for Adventure Boys! which today included Loci612, DSD and Sui_001 to save time and space in logs, and also dated 21/6 at minimum.*
With a day off work, myself, DSD and Sui_001 decided on a daytrip to tackle a small section of the "TRLT" series, and surrounding caches. We left Canberra at 6am and got back at 6pm sharp making it a 12 hour round trip! I managed to bag 70 finds for the day, a huge amount can't remember the last time I got that many without being at a mega event anyway!
It was a very successful day, with only one DNF from memory and a couple others skipped due to having along strings of them. My favourite part was driving up Mount Macquarie with spectacular views! We visited towns such as Cowra, Woodstock, Lyndhurst, Carcoar, Blayney, Barry and Neville.

There were no serviettes to clean up the mess created by the explosion the bad wrapping created. There was too much garlic sauce that made it even messier to clean up. I felt that the burrito artist had very little idea what an actual burrito looks like and how it's meant to function in the whole fast-food convenience world. The one saving grace was that it actually tasted like a burrito. I will not be ordering from this store again for quite some time."

Today I managed to find 75 Caches for the day with my friend Sui_001 & Loci612. It was an amazing day of caching. We had 2x DNFs for the day. We spent a total of 12 hours caching before I had to head home to do daddy duties. One of the highlights for the day was finding some Persons Tree Frogs near one of the caches that we found. Lots of driving to find the caches today. In fact it was 636 kms in total. I love geocaching so much and the friends I have made along the way make it all worthwhile. Thanks for all the caches and sorry for the generic log for this cache, but with 75 finds today it is hard to write a different one for each cache.

I am currently writing more detailed logs than usual. This is because of a challenge provided by Project-GC called "The Author" Badge. "The Author" Badge challenges geocachers to write an average of one hundred words or more in each Found It log. As of 9th November 2020 my average was 160 words per log, which seems close to the 200 words per log target. However given that I have found so many GC caches, I have to write many logs with well over 100 words for a long period of time to get my average to the target. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that I can strive to attain this challenge. After 7600 plus caches (which includes all cache finds up and including yesterday), the average log length is just over 160 words. I am now entertaining the possibility that I might be able to achieve my task before this year ends. Progress has been better than anticipated.

My to boys and I found this one on a very cold and wet day but still good fun walking around the rocks.
Staying for a few days in Millthorpe, this was our first opportunity to attempt some of this impressive trail. All attempted today were found, some after a bit of a hunt. All were in good conditon.

Final day of our long weekend to try and finish off the remaining TRLT series with Rapidlywild. Probably not the best time to go with rain and snow forecast, but we have never let the weather stop us before. So packed all the winter woollies, thermals, gloves and beanies and off we went.
We nearly got all the elements over the weekend even in one day snow, rain, fog, sun and wind but there was also some pleasant weather thrown in there for good measure. Roads in some places were a little hair raising but the trusty 4WD got us through safe and sound.
With permission from some of the cache owners we replaced saturated logs and on a few occasions caches.
All in all a good and successful long weekend away, lovely looking countryside and views along the way.

Last month, FFLL and I begun the tackle against the TRLT series and managed to get a huge chunk done. Well, we decided we wanted to get it finished so with snow on the forecast, we bit the bullet and packed the thermals and set off to have some fun. We had rain, fog, frost and even snow but it was an awesome weekend for sure 
We reached out to the cache owners of the ones we had to complete to inform them of our intentions and also advise that we were happy to complete replacement maintenance if required, so we came across a few that after extensive searches, we didnt locate, so we replaced as approved by the CO. A large number of replacement log sheets left along the way also to assist with the caches with soggy log books.
Lots of places visited across the weekend, including lots of old churches and old cemeteries across the land.

Camped at Lyndhurst for a few days. Out today to do some of TRLT series that have gone down since we were here last. Ten for the day, quick find, cache and contents all good, good coordinates. Took nothing, left nothing. TFTC

OCW frazerdaze and marj01. House sitting at White Rock for a week has provided an opportunity to do some geocaching runs around Bathurst - mainly TRLT series indispersed with a number of trads and puzzle caches. During the day we saw lovely scenery, lots of sheep and cattle, a few foxes and one deer in the forestry area. We even encountered fire persons doing a burn off which included two of the caches we were chasing. Please excuse the generic logs and thanks to all the CO's for placing the caches and adding to our enjoyment. For expediency all logs were signed OMF.
Decided to take an afternoon drive along TRLT.
All caches were quick finds and in good condition.
The dirt section was very corrigated and gave the suspension a workout.

Thank you so very very much for this awesome series that is showing us around with minimal bitumen. Absolutely loving it. Great to see some large rocks again. Thank you for the cache.
It was time for a big weekend caching, so I was joined by Fitzy_1965 and MinnieK for two days to tackle the new TRLT caches just East of Bathurst, This part of the trip went smoothly. I also managed to squeeze in a few more on the day after whilst traveling between the rain on Monday.

Headed out for a weekend of caching with fitzy_1965 and Albida33 to collect all the new sections of TRLT series and a few caches in-between. Signed as AMF for the weekend.
Made Trunkey Creek showground our base camp for two nights and cached our way around the area from there. A bit of a sleep in this morning and pack up camp before heading off for the day.

When we saw the new sections of TRLT Series published we made them a priority to do asap. Having cached around the region many times and knowing how beautiful it is we were really looking forward to it. Drove up Friday night and we camped at the Trunkey Creek Showground. Yesterday we found over 80 of the new ones then went back to camp. This morning after packing up we headed off to try for the rest of them. This was the next of many caches. Quick find once at GZ. Found with Justjessie on a "History of", "Road less traveled" and all the other caches in between four day blitz. Had a great time and saw some awesome countryside. TFTC.
On a road trip with EverestHigh and MaxAdventurer grabbing these new TRLT caches. This was an enjoyable trail with good hides and decent containers at GZ. Thanks to all the COs for going to the effort of placing these caches.
At GZ MA tried to climb the slippery surface without success.

Maybe not as big as the Devils Marbles, but we had our marbles about us, jumping out and finding it in 10 seconds. TFTC
Mrs Hancock was on this like a robust child on a sugar laden sweetie. An easy find at the first marble she examined.
One of over 200 caches found this long weekend whilst enjoying a fantastic few days away camping and caching with friends. Big thanks to all the CO's for placing the caches and adding to our enjoyment of what turned out to be an awesome weekend! TFTC!

It was time to go caching again and hunt for another section of TRLT caches. These ones were all quite easy to find and there were lots of different trade items to interest kids. The cache titles were also most appropriate for each one. The log book for each one soon had our name added and each cache was returned to its position before we moved on. Our thanks go to WaywardWoman for this part of the series.
Completed the Mount Macquarie to Tallwood section of the TRLT. Good day for it. All quiet out here on the roads. Signed and replaced. Caches all good. Thanks for all the new caches in the area.
