Logs
Found at 12:59 pm during a ride around North AdelaideThere's at least one muggle log in the book
today I went to North Adelaide for a hit of tennis, you wouldn't believe it but the council has remove all the nets on the grass courts. So I ended up doing a Game Set and Match geocache instead. Today out and about on 149 of 183 days to get my daily cacher Sapphire Using my Garmin Etrex 22X and MacBook Air!Thanks for the cacheTFTC
I think I've CAUGHT the geocaching bug.Had a couple of hours to spare before attending TAFE.Let's go caching I said to myself.TNLNSL TFTC Jeffjulie
Out for a bit of a stroll around the CBD and surrounding area. And trying to find a few geocaches. And then in for some dinner.Seems like this would almost be a nice place to bring a date while youre in that courtin phase. Anyway, found And signed.
Last day of my Mega experience in Adelaide I decided to stay local and pick up some urban caches before returning the car and heading back to Brisbane.Upon arriving at a suitable spot to park the car I made my way quickly to ground zero whereupon it did not take long to locate the prize. Log extracted and mark made, I was quickly back to the car and off on the next geocaching adventure.A big thanks to the cache owner for placing this cache and making it available to be found.Cheers

Then depending on the time that we will have left at each of our stages, all caches allowing usto visit a nice new place. We only visited a tiny part of this beautiful country which makes us want to come back although it is not next door and I would also remember the warm welcome of Australians and their kindness.I sincerely thank all the poseurs without whom the exploration of all theseplaces known or much more discreet would not have been possible. The third day in Adelaide with The Morris. Today was a hot one so the Morris went to do some other stuff and I rode around North Adelaide. Back early for a swim, then we did some caching after dinner. No tennis muggles at night made for a quick find. Thanks, Robmc.
Finally time to be in Adelaide and we arrived a few days early. We set up camp in Walkerville and settled in for a few days.Today we opted to stay home and out of the heat but after an early tea it was still pretty hot so we headed out for some night caching - not something we usually do but it made for an interesting experience. Our last for the evening - hopefully we can get some sleep nowThanks for contributing to our holiday.
6 months ago, during a frenzy, we said to ourselves "why not going to the mega in Adelaide for the leapday". From scratch we moved on to preparing an 18-day project in Australia. Our objectives are simple, visit a small part of this immense continent while validating a few caches. There are so many caches (impossible to do everything) that we will select. Our plan will allow us to visit Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Mount Gambier and finish in Adelaide for the famous Mega.During our stay we will log PestiHoot for Pestinette and Blackhoot.During our 5 days in Adlade, we visited the centre and around while following the caches and labs. We resolved some mysteries before our trip. We made some great discoveries and great experiences.Easy to find when we go ton the good spot. But the neighbor's dog barked a lot, fortunately no moggles in the area. Thanks to the caches we visited many sites evoking Australian culture and history. Thanks for the cache and the discovery of beautiful or original spots
Found it in the quiet hidey hole. Didn't make much of a 'racquet' finding it.
Found it another trip in to North Adelaide, that’s 3 in a row, this time for business though. Quickly added this one to my daily streak. Stamped as The Brown Family aka “the coloured mint tin by the sea people”

Clocking up cache finds for the May Wheel of Challenges on this lovely Saturday afternoon!

Found quickly after waiting for a muggle to pass, they didn't seem interested in volleying with me. Nice size container, you don't see many that are this big so close to the CBD. TFTC!
Found whilst out caching with a group from Adelaide Social Events - this cache was full of hundreds of ants!!!!
I decided to stop slacking off and get some more caches in and around the city area.
A quick find here today. Nice to find an early GSM cache!
Cache retrieved and signed with stamp.
Thanks OZGrumpy for this cache.
This cache brings Goldy's total find count to 1873 on the 21st of October 2022.

A late arvo walk with my Geokids. They were happy to find the extra surprise.
I hope we serve an ace on the next one.

I used to spend a lot of time chasing a ball around a tennis court. These days I'm more likely to be found walking, rather than running and chasing. Thanks for the quick find OzGrumpy. A nice place to come and sit and watch. The city gardens guys are watering and mowing near the other cache, so I'll just have to leave that one for another day.
Another clever cache, first to use the new log book. Old tennis court surrounded by a fence not far away.
TFTC! Easy find, great hide, managed to net that one quickly! Log sheets are full, apologies didn't have any on me to add️
Down in Adelaide today doing some caching and also to go to the Van Gogh Alive event with the family. 11 cache finds today and a couple DNFs due to muggles.
Nice easy find once at GZ, all in good condition here. TFTC!

I think this court or one close by was nabbed by locals and turned into a private club court, that was very hard to join (get the key from). They were outted by the local newspaper. No wonder with the hoards of westerners just down the hill, a bit scary !!!! TCTF
I was enjoying my nocturnal stroll around the golf course, grabbing a couple of caches en route. The hint made this a quick find and I tried not to make too much of a racquet as I replaced the camo! TFTC
Love the ball inside the cache, assuming that was the original cache?
Have a favourite has my last favourite didn’t show up!
Thanks OZ

The joys of being a teacher, the holidays and some time to just relax and go caching. I had some great company and managed to get a few off my map that have been there for a while.
Thanks to OZGrumpy from mogni

Thanks for this well maintained cache

Had a great time looking for this cache, pity I didn't have a racquet handy to have a quick hit on the court! TFTC!
If I hadn’t been completely drenched and looking a little bewildered the non- existent muggle golfers might have given me a SERVE!
Picked up the TB and will continue its community service journey.
Thanks for the interesting cache!

Took us little bit to figure out we were barking up the wrong tree! Volley good hide! TFTC
What a fun cache to find. Really wanted to get a chance to serve an ace at the nearby courts but contented myself with throwing pine needles around. TFTC
Maybe some of these golfers should play VOLLEYball instead of golf!
Such a beautiful day for a bike ride and finding some caches.
TFTC Keep smiling

This was a sad day as I stopped at 10 cache hides and only found 7 caches and had 3 DNFs
Even worse was that I spent about an hour kneeling and laying on the ground, looking for a cache and all I got was a bad case of the itches from the fine needle like lining of seedpods at that cache GZ
That bothered me for the rest of the trip Considering that cache was the 2nd of the trip, that shows how long I was itchy and scratchy
Still Rex and I are intrepid and so we kept caching and made a loop from Prospect back through Modbury and back to home[^]
A nice drizzly wander in the parklands in the darkness meant that Rex had more fun playing than he did helping me geocache Easy find but the list was missing

Waited for a couple of golfers to clear out before we could search for this one. Very well hidden. TFTC
Another cache with nice camouflage and one of our last for the day before walking to the nearby 24/7 bakery for a serve of dinner. TFTC OZGrumpy
Out and about with bektheraccoon getting some adventure lab caches (while we still can). A well de-served go from us TFTC
I’ve just come from a breakfast event at Vili’s north side, and gee those cachers can make a racquet!
Seems like no two OZGrumpy caches are the same; looking forward to the next one already.

What a great cache. These creative caches really serve the community well. Its always exciting wondering what the next cacher is going to serve up !
Thanks for the cache! Found with conardel on leap day 2020 @ 1622. Volley on grumpy - webbers
After breakfast with friends in North Adelaide, what to do on a nice sunny afternoon, try to grab a cache or 2. While avoiding a group of muggles playing a ball game, my GPS spun me around a couple of times, before landing me in right spot, then the cache was soon in hand and the log signed. TFTC
had to duck around a bit but soon saw it.

Computers all crashed at work so what else to do except have an extended lunch break and grab a cache GPS had me a bit past the location, I was pretty sure that a stray tennis ball wouldn't travel this far so backtracked to a more likely location Tftc, good size and in good condition.
Adelaide Trip Day 12. After a peaceful night of fireworks, I headed to North Adelaide to do the newest Adventure lab set of 10 caches. There were a few issues, but the CO sorted them out promptly and it was completed successfully. Along the way I stopped and did as many of the local caches I could before heading off to lunch.
Thanks.

Found on a short bike ride to find caches covering a number of goals: 10 cache finds per calendar day, mystery cache find per day and multi cache find per day. The gps batteries were flat when I turned it on and plans were changed. On retrieving the phone from the backpack for some extracurricular activity I realised I was carrying some spare batteries.
It was quiet when I found the cache. A couple of grounds keepers turned up while I was stamping the log and they gave me a dirty look. After replacing the cache I went over and fessed up to what I was doing. Turns out one of the guys had done a bit of caching.
Thanks for the cache OZGrumpy.
