Logs
This one took us a while, log and cache are soaked but was still able to sign. TFTC!-E+E
A break in the weather and a perfect morning to take the geohound for a walk along the Shoalwater Beach. Not a muggle to be seen! Thankful to be completing this series in cooler weather as would be a bit more cautious in these dunes during summer! Another fairly quick find but sadly another broken container. Log was saturated but managed to sign. Replaced upside down to provide some small protection against the elements. Needs some TLC. TFTC
Easier to get to than number 1, we pretty much just walked straight up to this one. The container lid is a bit worse for wear, but the log is protected in a freezer bag.TFTC TNLNSL
I seek a long Time. Yabadabadu. Found it. The Box is broken. I have spend a new Plastic for the Logbook. TFTC Pitfeder
Found hides #1 to #4, but while in the field wrote the numbers down wrong and couldn't land the correct coordinates for the bonus. May be back one day to find it. To top it off I lost a Fit Bit Versa 3 watch somewhere between #1 and #4. Thank you GriffinUnit13 for for the series.
Found number 2. Took a little longer to find this one. Fun looking. Watch for snakes, we just crossed paths with a tiger snake.
Full time nomads since February 2014, here to visit family.
Now staying in East Rockingham for a few days. Alarm set for an earlier start than usual, but well you know it was cozy in bed so snooze and back to sleep for us both. An hour later we still werent really feeling it so a slow start including bacon and egg burger at camp before we finally hit the road.
Weather was glorious for us to wander around Point Peron and Shoalwater bay. Loads of muggles everywhere we went but they only stopped us searching for 1 cache. We managed to upset the ants along our path too so Mrs Felix is covered in ant bites
Fantastic day for caching and with 1 DNA and 1 DNF, 33 including 6 AL stages it was a good result too.

We left his car to the southern end and started from the north.
All caches found in good order and once finished we headed off for some ice cream.
Thanks GriffinUnit13 for placing Shoalwater Beach #2 for me and others to find.

Canpmellow Jrs and The Geo Princesses decided to take on this challenge on an overcast day with very few muggles to worry about. Cache was a little more difficult to find but found it in the end. TFTC
The cache also needs some maintenance as the lid is cracked. The log is in good condition

I had to come down to Rockingham so the Better Half and I decided to try for the newly published cache however muggles stopped us from searching each of the three times we arrived at that ground zero so we decided to go for a walk along the beach instead.Cache found without problems.Log was signed and the cache returned as it was found. Thanks GriffinUnit13 for placing this cache for us to find.

Thanks GriffinUnit13.
Thanks GriffinUnit13.
Hard slog through the dunes and snakey vegetation to complete this series with ILT.
An early morning walk along the beach led me to the cache another clue noted! Cache nicely hidden away log signed and replaced as found. Thanks GriffinUnit13.
We were out and about grabbing some caches on this overcast afternoon. Hoping the weather will keep the beach muggles away. We parked just off the road and followed the track over the dunes and to the beach where we come out only 40m away from this one. So this become our first target. Once at gz we searched for a few minutes before we spied the treasure hiding in its spot. We quickly added our names to your log book and returned your cache back to where we found it. It’s always good to do a welfare check on one that hasn’t been found for awhile, glad to say this one is doing well. TFTC GriffinUnit13
Getting some smilies on a warm, humid, very overcast day, hoping the muggles were off doing something other than beach things! We were lucky in that regard with only a couple of people on the beach fishing. We came over the dunes almost on top of this one and axell33 spied it pretty quick, which we were very happy with after the dnf's. Thanks for the cache and all well here.
Did a pretty thorough hunt all around, i gound some rubbish and am thinking it got muggled.
No luck for me, theirs a bush I thought it would be under, but nothing under it, feels like a bad season to be looking
Probsty and I headed along the Shoalwater foreshore this morning with the sole aim of completing this series. A cracking cloud free day. It is winter? Isn’t it?
An interesting toad stool next to the cache.

Spent a little while here searching. Approached from a different angle and with the sun in the right spot we soon had the cache in hand. TFTH!
Nice and close to where I entered the beach from so I gathered this on the way back through. Clues in the notepad and I decided to walk to number 1 from here as it was close by

Luckily for me Mr Luna Maya agreed to go geocaching with me today in the Shoalwater area The sun shining and an enjoyable walk along the beach with so much to see on the very 1st day of 2019 . Cache found , clue recorded, TFTC GriffinUnit13
Spending a wonderful summers day with Mistraluna to grab some smileys. As always we tackle new ones she has not grabbed here as our score difference is just an average 10000 hides, so what ever she hasnt i surely have not found yet. TFTC GriffinUnit13
The lovely Eliktrisiti surprised me with an invitation to join her for a day of caching - well, she is currently using public transport to get around, so she needed a caching buddy with a car - and I always prefer to cache with someone, not solo, so it all came together nicely. She caught the train down to Mandurah to do a spot of cache maintenance and we headed off from there, heading northwards, meandering our way from one cache to the next. We both really enjoyed this long walk along the beach, catching up with each other's news as we walked along the shoreline. Each of the caches was found without too much trouble, though the terrain is a bit snakey at this time of year, so caution was used.Collected all the clues and worked out where the final was, and thankfully it was on the way back to the car. Thanks to all the CO's who contributed to our day's adventure. Sorry about the generic logs, but want to clear the backlog of field notes and start the new year with a clean slate. But I do appreciate the effort that goes into the placing and maintaining of all these caches.
Out on a magical spring afternoon catching some caches. Not too many muggles about! Love this beach to take the dawgs and perfect opportunity to complete this series.
TFTC GriffinUnit13, well done!

Needed to take have a break, so thought I could clear these caches from close to work.
Nice walk along the beach, and the caches were all easy finds, once you approached the GZ from the correct angle.

Woke up at some crazy hour this morning and noticed that there was heaps of new caches that had got published. The hubby woke up at 3 and I mentioned that there was lots of FTFS up for grabs and he agreed to head out the door with me and try our luck. Came to this series first armed with our torches and did the long walk up the beach finding the caches and collecting the clues. We had to dodge a lot of waves and by the time we got to number 4 it then decides to start raining. We had no choice but to keep going and find the final as the car was no where near us. All caches were found quickly with a nice big container at the end. An enjoyable series TFTC GriffinUnit13

2TF continuing our bracing walk along the beach in the early morning sunshine. Accompanied by a lazy wind (it goes straight through you, not around!). TFTC GriffinUnit13
