Logs
After a report from another cacher that this had been tampered with along with others in the area, I checked today. The cache was missing, and there was no evidence of it near GZ. A replacement has been put there, and the culprit will be reported to GCHQ. I can never understand why people would ruin the fun for others in the community. Cache on.
Thank you!!! That was a very lively experience. I managed to take my obese cat on a walk here. Much love xx
Disabling until I can relocate this to a new tree. Too many muggles seem to be tampering with the BAC. Stay tuned.
Coordinates changed from:S 34 1.968 E 151 5.631Coordinates changed to:S 34 1.972 E 151 5.598Distance from original: 168.2 feet or 51.3 meters.Moved to a less muggle-prone tree. It is still a BAC with camo tape. Hint will be updated. It is now about waist level.
Just laying on the ground out in the open. Dry but no lid. Popped it back at waist height! Needs attention.
On a walk this morning and did a cache check. The baggy was soaked, and log was damp. I dried it out and removed baggy. Hopefully, it will be fine for now.
Easy find. Cache wasnt closed properly so it was full of water. Pen decided to run out on us so heres a photo. TFTC
On a walk with GeodogZelda to get fresh air while recovering from covid, I checked on this after a couple of recent logs.A slightly crushed BAC was found lying on the ground, exposed. Then, another BAC was found hidden in the original location, amongst the viscous cache-eating ants. Both had logs.I have moved it to the other side of the tree, away from the ants, and about head high. The hint will be adjusted.Hopefully, it will avoid the mower or whatever is damaging these BACs.
Cache has been replaced at a higher level on The Kingsway side of the tree. Cache on.
Sitting out in the open, so I popped it where I thought it was meant to be. Tftc.
Thanx to the CO for telling me that I logged a write note and not a find. Have a fave point Brew!
Couldnt find it Im fairly sure I know which hollow it is/was meant to be in, but trying to poke around in achieved nothing except angering the ants
DNF I went late at night and found it was infested by ants, will probably come back during the day.
Following the log yesterday, I dropped by to check. The log is still in good condition. The broken plastic on the ground nearby had nothing to do with this cache, but I did a CITO and cleared it up. There were no additional names added to the log sheet since the previous log on 12/04/2024, as well as no log from the finder on 9/04/2024.
#15 had an army of ants come out and defend the cache. Felt like trying to collect a horcrux. Which is oddly apt with the whole muggles term. Adds a little bit of challenge to the whole thing. Im gonna have to invest in some gloves!
We first visited a couple of weeks ago when the circus was in town and had a DNF. Today, it wasnt just muggle free, we just about parked next to GZ in the paddock. That was certainly hard to see but the TOTT was handy and had a good outing on a day of Brewmaker cache hunting. SL TFTC Cheers Gaztek
Cache was missing - again! Someone doesn't like Bebes Ammo Cans. Replaced with natural camo. Please return as found. Hidden out of sight. And watch out for the ants! If it goes again, I will relocate to another tree in the park.
The circus has left town. But didn't take all their rubbish! GZ is open and the cache has been replaced. Good luck.
The circus is back in town, so GZ is blocked off. Disabling until they leave. Which is very soon.
No luck for us here last Sunday. Lots of muggles around as the circus was in town, Theyd plugged in near GZ and we figure in the course of their activity they may have uncovered and removed the container. Notified the CO in person. Nice to see you, Brewmaker. Will be back. Cheers Gaztek
Found this in a state or ruin and the geohubby got attacked by an arm of ??! Needs maintain asap.
A nice nighttime stroll to grab this one which we have been driving past for ages. Cleared out a couple of bags of dog poo and disposed of them nearbyalso fought off some ravenous ants but made the find, signed and returned! TFTC.
My quickrst find yet!! Thank you Brewmaker, a lovely spot for a cache and a dog's delight.
I believe the circus has left town, so the cache is back in action. Please read the hint carefully, so you understand the location of the hide.
The cache is still there exactly as placed. There were no ant issues. However, the Stardust Circus is set up nearby, so I will disable until they finish up.
DNF someone must of moved it. Literally digged in every hollow hole but was not their. And couldn't even use a stick as their was too much ants
Could not find anywhere. Literally looked in every hollow on the tree, up and down, but could not see it. I assume that someone moved it? Please replace it if this has happened!
With 3 DNFs (all by newbies though), I will check this out when I return from my holiday. I won't disable until I'm certain the cache has gone missing.
DNF was this the spot, we looked at every hollow hole in the tree but they were all infested in ants, somone must jave moved it or dugg it down we couldn't even use a stick to shoo the ants away
After recent logs, I dropped by to find the crushed cache sitting out in the open. I had a replacement B.A.C. on hand, so put it in the hidey hole it is meant to be. Please don't put it at ground level. Replace as found.
Passing through today on my way t9 a quick meeting in Miranda. No issues here on a very quiet day, at least it has warmed up now.
Quick find.
Cheers
Quick find.
Cheers
No it is not! Look at the background image to see what The Bebes Ammo Can looks like.
A check this morning revealed that the cache is still there in the hidey hole. This should be an easy find. Check the hint carefully. A placed a small rock on top, so that might help. Watch out for the ants nesting nearby.
I’ve had a terrible day for caching. 3 DNF’s! Looked through all the hollows on ALL the trees and nothing! I think it was muggled, will report to owner. And on top of that I lost my lucky pen! thanks anyway……..
Mate just because i catch milfs and you don’t doesn’t mean you remove my thing and report me
I had a feeling from previous logs this may not be in the correct location. And I was right! It is meant to be low, not high. It seems someone moved it so they could place a large TB on top of the cache. There really isn't room for any. Please replace the cache as found, and with the natural camo to hide it.
