Our app decided to crash whilst on this road so wasn't able to pick up this one, or its mate down the road. Will have to take a drive out here another day.
Found with Kellmik and Karlth2021 on our 15 day, 7000+ km trip around the outback taking in iconic locations such as the Gawler Ranges, Googs Track, Kingoonya, Woomera, Oodnadatta Track, Marree, Birdsville Track, Mungerannie, Birdsville, Bedourie, Boulia, Diamantina NP, Winton, Longreach, Windorah, Haddon Corner, The Dig Tree, Innamincka, Old Strezlecki Track, Milparinka, Silverton and Broken Hill.
In all is was an absolutely fantastic trip with lots of wonderful things to see.
This cache was one of over 120 that we found during our outback drive.
Far more cattle grids are needed along this road!!!!

Today we were supposed to drive to Tibooburra and then head to Camerons Corner the day after. Unfortunately the roads are closed to Camerons Corner so there was no point driving up there. So we decided to make the excursion to the two caches out in the middle of nowhere. It was certainly a long drive just to find a cache, but it was a great time filler and adds to my cache count. This was a quick find, the container was clearly not meant to below in this environment. Found with Mrs Oz KEG, TFTC.
18.09.19 my daughter had done a quick check and noticed it was gone, so with the grandson in toe we went for a drive and the son in law found it approx 40 feet away, not sure how it got there, may have been thrown, so we have changed the cache canister and hope it won’t go anywhere now
Our second trip out this way, following the track of 50 gates to Cameron Corner .
Saw this cache on our route and stopped to look around, which we did for quite awhile, but without success [B)]. Widened the search area, but still had no luck . Cache blindness maybe [?].
We'll keep watch to see if someone else finds it .
Not sure when we'll be out this way again, but thanks anyway Grumpi68.

06.04.19 lucky we checked, the cache had been moved by something and found quite some distance and missing the log, so put back together and new log
Found on our adventure from Melbourne to Gold Coast (the scenic way....). This cache was our reason for taking this particular route, although FTF went a few weeks ago, still a challenge to plan, prepare, and then get here. Great meeting you at the station house Andrew and thanks for placing this cache with the help of your grandson. The whole Pine View crew/family were super friendly and we loved camping here, so remote. Anyone attempting this, make sure you are prepared for the conditions/track. Another favourite from us!
Love the name - you could have named the cache wheat planter - as you would never harvest here.
We were hesitant at whether there would be a name in the book - we started out for the FTF at Tibooburra around 8am and after walking up Mount Poole, we headed here through a million station gates. At one of them I noticed the back passenger tyre pretty flat so we swapped it out with the spare. After plugging the damaged tyre (which kept it up), we continued on our way.
We started coming across the yellow signs which appeared for people we guessed coming from the other way, not from Mt Poole. So we kept going.
We crossed a beautiful little stream that appeared dammed off at 30°13'31.3"S 141°14'36.8"E at Lake Wallace Creek - where someone has set up some nice table and chairs for a lunch stop!
So then we rolled into the Border Downs and held our breath. Apart from the dust storm, all was quiet.
We opened the cache and found a blank white piece of paper.
Hale in the halleluiah chorus.

Found during an epic trip to 3 of SA state's corners - Haddon, Cameron and MacCabe. There was dust, eagles, a flat, video and lots of photography, mud and mostly more dust. An event in Innamincka broke up the dust and quenched the thirst.
Thanks to grumpi68 and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet! [:o)]

Well that was one epic adventure today culminating in a joint FTF with TeamAstro. After picking the red dotted roads of choice on the map we left Tibooburra first thing in the morning and headed off on what we thought would be ‘just a bit of a detour’ to Broken Hill. Well the dotted red lines certainly didn’t tell us the full story. Some great roads or hints of roads were found and travelled. Stopping at one gate a flat tyre was discovered. After two hours with a bit of a change to the spare and a double plug fixing of the flat (who told me I had to pack the tyre repair kit? Thank goodness I listened) and a short food break we were off again.
So all in all a great day was had. Thanks to TeamAstro for being there to help change the tyre and thanks to grumpi68 for the cache.
