I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.
As recent major construction in this area has meant things were moved around, a couple DNFs, I'd recommend the CO double check it wasn't thrown out when they replaced the bus shelter
Dnf was checking for 30 minutes but construction was done so don't know if they got rid of it thanks alot but no point now
We were driving to another location when suddenly noticed this one was on the way. Stopped, got out, signed and onwards we went. Found with Pr1nceCaspian. Thanks for placing this.
We’d been staying in a motorhome in the Mangaroa area for the weekend. At this point we were about to head home and decided we’d endeavour to pick up this cache before we did. Fortunately parking wasn’t a problem for the motorhome. A reasonably quick find. #3771. TFTC.
In Petone for a ten pin bowling tournament, park and grab after doing a adventure lab and some caches in Rivendell area. Thanks GLAD-NZ for the cache.
Still a long way to go to collect all the GROET series, but here's another one crossed off. All safe and dry here, TFTC.
Quick stop in here on the way home. This street is really busy. Hopefully no one in the nearby house was watching. I tried to be stealthy! TFTC <3
Mum is helping me log all my caches that I haven't logged yet.Found with Mum (LL113) and Dad (GNARwhal).
A nice wander in the rain with SiTheGrim and UnicornLex (who is a pro at finding cache containers at 8yrs). TFTC
Out for a good ebike ride with Taiko33 and afterwards stopped at this roadside.
Quick find.

Quick find of replacement while passing, though Cachly couldn’t give me details of the OM because ‘This user has opted-out of sharing certain info with API Authorised Developers’. Cheers for another in the series GLAD-NZ!
It appears that it's gone so I've replaced the container and s temporary log.

Too many muggles around, tried to be stealthy but could not look properly, will come back.
After looking around Te Marua for several caches we headed back to the Kapiti coast but had to stop on the way to clear up one or two easy park and grab. This one was an easy find by Flowerydaze but we were joined at the bus stop by a muggle who was obviously waiting for a bus. After secretly putting the cache back in place we got up to leave just as the bus pulled up, I imagine he was surprised when we walked off in the opposite direction. TFTC
A quick find while there were no muggles around. It was very cold today and the sign for the naturist club had me thinking I would rather stay well wrapped up. Thanks for this GROET series - I think I am almost at the end of them. Tftc.
It seemed rather appropriate that I should do this cache today for the seven day streak challenge souvenir when it wasn't far from a sign pointing to the Wellington Naturist Club! However I didn't visit those premises, and remained clothed at GZ as imprisonment would make it impossible to find a cache tomorrow to complete the challenge!
A quick easy find in a location I wasn't very familiar with--hopped off the bus as it headed up the road, did the cache and caught the same bus on its return journey.

#7297. Out and about for another round of geocaching in Upper Hutt and Te Marua. Not much time available today so did ones close to the roads. Great that the weather is holding out although its pretty cold at the moment. After securing my last gemstone at Emerald Hill I decided to grab a few more caches to boost the August tally while up this end of town. This cache was one of my back up ruby options but it wasn't needed. It is hidden in a place that could be awkward to search at times. Luckily when I came through it was deserted. Found the cache in the first place checked. Signed the logbook and replaced the cache as found. Thanks GLAD-NZ for hiding a GROET up here at Te Marua.
I've had my eye on this for a little while, and as it would give me another Mystery at the Museum gemstone I decided to look for it on my way past today. Stopped round the corner on my way to get some compost in the trailer, but when I got to GZ there was a muggle just turned up to wait for a bus. So I went off, got the compost and parked up opposite on my return. This time no muggles, and the cache was an easy hide in the first spot I checked. Good to get another GROET completed, thanks for this series of convenient caches GLAD-NZ.
On my way thought to Wellington for the day thought to get some more caches to help with the 35 to get for the current mystery at the museum challenge. Easy find. Thanks for the cache
Once again skaga beat me to grab straight away haha one went left and the other right. TFTC
A quick park and grab while traveling through the area today. Thanks, all is well with the cache.

I'm planning to be in this area every day for the next week or so. I have made a plan to find a cache up here every day while I'm visiting. A good thing about being in a different area is that there are plenty of caches that I haven't found and I won't have to walk miles from the car in order to find them...
This one is a good example. A park and grab which was completed in less than five minutes. I could see the container from the car. However, I had to wait for a while for some school kids to wander slowly past before I could go and retrieve it. I'm happy I got my smiley for the day!
The cache is in good condition. All nice and dry.
Thank you

8017. A quick park and grab in the rain, on the way from Carterton to Wellington. Luckily there was shelter available! Thanks. Rodney and Iris.
# 1268 Was in the area and after a quick park and grab. Had scoped this one out on a previous occasion but it wasn't meant to be at that time as there were people sitting in the location. Today however, there was no such problem and i took a seat myself. this one should almost be a sit and glad shouldn't it? Lots of activity at the cafe across the road and a wee mini pulled up as i was there but i felt completely comfortable (for once) caching in this spot as this place is just meant to be for sitting and waiting. Thanks for the easy smilie today. All good inside here too.
Find #2930. An epic day of cycling and geocaching in the Upper Hutt Region, attempting to capture as many remaining Traditional caches as possible to clear the map. Started at Petone, catching the Wairarapa train with the bike, for a pleasant 25min and inexpensive $6.50 journey, alighting at Maymorn Station. Cycled some 40km in often 26 degree plus heat, returning to Petone via the general route of the Hutt River Trail but with many deviations. Particularly enjoyed the upgraded sections of cycle trail, smooth asphalt where once there was gravel.
Easy find in the shade (shade was my friend today!) of the trees. SL TFTC

My first GROET cache, yay! and a nice easy find in one of my favorite hiding places. Headed over the hill to Masterton this morning so it was a no brainer to make a quick grab of this one in passing.

#764. I had a visit to do in Maymorn, so what better way to fill in another dot day than do my first GROET cache? This was the most convenient, but I had to wait for bus to depart GZ before venturing into the scene. Quick find. Good secure hiding place. Tftc GLAD-NZ.
Another quick find with nicjay. Tftc

Was in Upper Hutt for work and was deciding on which cache I was going to go and find today, I decided that I would check my GPSr and soon realised that there was a cache that was not too far away so I decided to settle on this cache as it was a very easy driveby cache.
Managed to make my way to Te Marua, and having being pass this spot so many times but really never had a reason to stop at this exact spot as I dont really use public transport that much. Arriving near GZ, I decided that I would go up the road and make a U turn and then managed to find a safe parking spot that was only a few metres from GZ, but far enough away that I was not going to impact on the any public transportation that arrived.
The walk up to GZ was too bad and once there it only took a few seconds to track down the hiding spot for this cache, was glad that it didnt take too long as I really didnt want to be caught in there when a bus turned up or a muggle.
Managed to retrieve the cache, signed and then replaced the cache back as found. Thanks GLAD-NZ for placing this GROET cache here and for bringing us to this spot, TFTC TNLNSL (13854). Glad to get another GROET cache off my list of unfound caches.
Now it is time to head back towards town and to my next appointment.

We have hopped across the ditch from Melbourne to attend the WENZ Mega. This cache was found on our long weekend. We’ve had a fun day visiting Martinborough and we are on our way back to Petone.
Thanks for placing GROET#15 (Te Marua) so we could find it. Many thanks GLAD-NZ for the caching fun.

A quick and easy find. Stopped across the road for our afternoon coffee. Thanks
Found on a day spent driving up and down the Hutt Valley, finding a cache or two. Signed cache as Ms+Mr KR.
Thanks to all CO's for placing and maintaining their caches. Cheers

CITO Event over. Time now to cache my way to the Kaitoke Event.
A quick park and grab.

We decided we would travel to WENZMEGA via the Wairarapa and return via the Akatarawas, caching along the way, but in a reasonably leisurely, pick and choose kind of way.
We had a beautiful day for our southward travels through the Wairarapa and over the Rimutakas.
Travelling was fairly easy until we began the ascent of the Rimutakas and found ourselves joining a continuous queue of vehicles travelling in both directions for the whole of the crossing. Turns out an accident earlier had caused delays and the consequent backlog of traffic took a while to sort out. We curtailed plans for any caches that would have necessitated trying to cross the traffic.
Traffic was spread out and flowing normally by now, as we reached Upper Hutt. This cache was a quick, straightforward find. It was nice too to have a shady parking spot on this very warm afternoon. TFTC

Stopped at the cafe across the road for some much needed cake. We are doing the rimutaka cycle trail over 2 days so are covering over 70k a day. Quick find at gz before going back to our tea. Tftc.
I too remember the previous cache, perhaps not so fondly, with its prickly access and tricksiness. Looks like those bushes are long gone.
A quick find on the way back from climbing Mt Climie. Put my hand on it immediately.
TFTC, cheers

After today's main caching adventure up on Goat Rock I thought I'd stop and find some more "down to earth" caches on the way home. No surprises here and no muggles either. TFTC.
So much easier than the cache that used to be nearby. I soon figured how this cache was hidden.
Cache # 4,524 - super quick find this morning on a brilliant spring day. All quiet here. TNLNSL. TFTC!

#10,293. A park and grab on Plateau Road near the Te Marua Store in Upper Hutt. Fortunately GZ was all quiet when we were there. Quick find. The cache was in excellent condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.

Found on a chilly cycle ride with a few friends from Melling to Te Marua for lunch in the wee park across the road. The morning gray clouds cleared after a brief heavy downpour, fortuitously while we were in the shelter concerned, to a sunny and warm afternoon. A winter ride along the Hutt River Trail and back at its best. TFTC
A quick find here this morning. I recall having found the previous cache close to here - this one was very much easier! Signed log, TFTC
After grabbing the FTF on the new cache down the road, I stopped here to add another cache to my FWF list. I too recall a cache around here, but I seem to remember finding it on the first attempt, although it was a trickly little blighter. That hiding spot is a bit more exposed now.
Anyway, onto this cache. My phone's GPS was pointing me towards a certain object and with a bit of a systematic search, soon had the cache in hand. TFTC

The jet lag is improving, I woke up just after 0530 today. A quick check of the news indicated Croatia came second in the World Cup. Then a quick check of the email indicated some new caches had been published - I decided to have a crack at one as my cache of the day today.
I recalled an earlier cache near GZ which had taken three of four visits to find. I didn’t even realise that one had been archived. However, understanding CO’s style I didn’t think this cache would be too hard to find - and I was right. Found within seconds of arriving at GZ, and a clean logsheet to add to the mix - yay - an {FTF} as well as my cache of the day.
GLAD to be back in NZ as this series was published, and GLAD to have a few more days nearby home covered as we get close to the business end of winter. Thanks for another smilie and a few more to follow.
