Nice easy one on the way back from the Lior concert tonight; signed and replaced as found; TFTC!
Quick and easy find, the clue is very helpful, though the broken glass makes it hard to retrieve. Tftc
Quick stop on the way to work! 2nd time here but read the clues this time!!!! Was tempted to take that hair roller!
Found it but I did not think very good and looked at a photo that said spoilers and that showed me where it was.i left a green stone behind as a SWAG
Think someone might have cleaned up the rubbish in the area and thrown it out by accident
Awesome find! A little tricky for beginners but if youre having trouble, think carefully about the clue. Photo is a spoiler!
(4 of 4 today)Headed east of the CBD for some caching goodness today. Picked a few likely hides to target in the time I had available, went for four and got them all, HUZZAH!###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###The hardest thing for me here was finding somewhere to park. Finally got something a few hundred metres away.Once at GZ it was a quick find in the logical spot.Signed, replaced and back to *The Hademobile* for the drive home.SLTNLNTFTC
Cockburn Crew on tour to the Canberra Mega. Day 1 involved a bunch of caching around Sydney before making our way to Canberra for the Capital Geobash. We found a huge variety of caches, and its great to cache in new territory that we havent explored much in the past. Unlike our home state of Western Australia where we have found just about anything and everything.A beautiful day with great weather and even better company. Thank you to the local COs for a great day in and around this great country of ours.
Out and about again, headed over to Sydney early in the morning, grabbed a hire car and got some local hides before driving to Canberra for the MEGA. Super excited my first MEGA and heading over with 2 others from the Cockburn Crew - signed log as WAC to save time. This is 14203, hoping to clock over the 15,000 finds in the week in New South Wales and ACT.Thanks to lach1234 for the caches we found.********** ********** ********** ********** ********** **********OZMEGA2024 OZMEGA2024 OZMEGA2024 OZMEGA2024 OZMEGA2024 OZMEGA2024********** ********** ********** ********** ********** **********Head over to Australian Capital Territory for Capital GeoBash MEGA - Canberras first ever Mega Event. Easter 2024 (GC9PNFB): - 5 day event at Canberra Park adjacent to EPIC (Canberra Showgrounds) on the Federal Highway, only 6km from the centre of the city. The mascot for the Mega is Gangles the endemic Gang Gang Cockatoo, a bird you may see or hear while in Canberra. The official website - geobash.ozmega.com.auACT has over 4700 active caches, power trails, and over 100 Lab Adventures. Heaps of challenge caches, hikes for geocaches for all levels of skills and fitness.
Exciting times over the next couple of weeks as we takeoff for the Capital GeoBash in Canberra! Its going to be a flood of Sandgropers over east, with a host of West Aussies making the trek east for the event. Im travelling with fellow Cockburn Crew members Leg5 and Barnzy12, starting in Sydney and hitting the road to Canberra on Good Friday, before returning back to Sydney. Honourary mention to our fellow member, Cravo10, who couldnt make it after recently introducing a new geocacher to the world the week prior. Once in Canberra, the agenda is set, well team up with a host of Western Australians to conquer caches. Collectively, were hoping to make it the biggest ever weekend for cache finding. Following the event, the journey continues back to Sydney, with a mission to clean up caches and new Local Government Areas (LGAs), ensuring no cache is left unturned in this epic geocaching adventure. Something tells me that well need a holiday after this, well, holiday. Arrived in Sydney today after an overnight journey via Melbourne. Feeling pretty buggered, the time difference, short flights and transfer of aircraft in Melbourne didnt help. Despite a sleepless night, we had to push on, and the plan was to catch up with a friend in Coogee. I live near Coogee in Perth, but we pronounce it differently. I eyed off a few caches and LGAs to clean up in the process. If youre receiving this log, the chances are that todays mission was a success. All logs have been signed as WAC to save space, abbreviation for Western Australia Crew. Cheers lach1234! Join us in Augusta, in Western Australias South West, for WA Goes Big 2024 (GCAGV8Y) on Friday 20 to Sunday 22 September. Log your will attend now!
Really Nice, easy quick cache. Off to the side of the road are trees and leaves on the ground. A bit off the location provided. Think Smart not quick!! Enjoy

Picton & Penrith Canberra Day weekend Invasion. Day 5. After a fun few days with a large group of cachers, I spent this rainy day driving around Sydney seeking out a few caches in as many counties of those I have not cached in before as I can. As ever, doing anything in Sydney seems to take a long time and I think I managed seven counties today. Some caches were in busy public areas and some were in nice tucked away spots that seemed a bit secret. It was a difficult day, but all in all very satisfying. I will have to come back to finish off the last few counties in the future. I did not go all the way home but stopped the night in Marulan for some caching there in the morning.
I was happy to find one empty parking spot right near GZ, but then had to wait for the council mower to deal with grass right along the wall by GZ. Once I got an all clear, I started looking. GZ took me a bit further along than needed but I soon zoned in a likely spot and found this good sized cache.
Thanks for the cache lach1234

Pretty tricky to find. Found the whereabout location quickly but took a while to find the exact placing of the cache.
With 9 more LGA’s needed to claim a ACT challenge I’d signed a couple of years ago I hired an ebike for the afternoon and set off on a big loop around the Parramatta River.
After walking the bike down some steps the battery had come unplugged so it was a tough 5km ride to here from the bridge before I worked out what the problem was. Thankfully no problems with the find. Thanks lach1234 for creating and placing this for us to enjoy.
