Today we headed out of town to Wentworth and then worked our way back through Merbein and surrounds to Mildura. It was a clear sunny day, but wind kept the temperatures down and at time we were greatful to be in the car. Some lovely scenery was encountered from desert like scrub through farming land and the banks of the Murray. We managed Earthcaches, a Wherigo, multis and trads as well as puzzles. We also encountered a number of great cache containers.A busy but enjoyable day.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Mebclever.**SKI Pair****
Gotcha On our way to the sand dunes on a very brisk morning. Poor cache container has had a hard time due to weather (sun/heat) but log could be signed TFTC

Sydney to Adelaide Road TripDay Three: Around MilduraWeather: perfect!A find on the way out of Wentworth to caches further west. Cache was on the ground and no longer has its magnet attached. Ive returned it to an elevated position but it may well finish up on the ground again. Thanks for the hide Mebclever. Its officially a mega.GCA1DNA The Great Leap ForwardAdelaide, South Australia, February 29, 2024.Wed love to have your company.
Found by The Empire + HOur journey began in Mildura, a city that had charmed us with its riverside beauty and vibrant culture. On a sunny morning, we set off, eager to explore the nearby town of Wentworth, nestled at the confluence of the Murray and Darling Rivers. The landscape transitioned from riverine plains to arid expanses. The vastness of the Outback was humbling, with its endless horizons and sparse vegetation, giving us a sense of isolation and wonder. A quick find here as it was on the ground without a magnet. Thanks for the cache Mebclever.- M
Our second DNF for the day. We looked everywhere but couldn't find it. We spotted something that was different to the rest but if that was it we couldn't shift it.
Easy find. Cache on ground and log a bit wet. Great to knock off some of these just off the highway. TFTC
While travelling through the area we picked up a few caches along the way and this was one of them.
Caches and contents were very good.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Another cache find on our 2022 South Australian Adventure, yes I know we have wandered over the border. Never mind, it is a wonderful, day albiet cold and wet, and we have joined forces with FelixII so we are off to see what we can find. Thanks to all the COs for taking us on this geo-guided tour.

The JAMS crew ( all 5 of us this trip JJ52,Allister w, Mogni, Michells&hound plus Sir_Spectre ) where headed to the 3 Community Celebration events in 3 states in one day plus a side trip down Euston
( it's only 55 km from our B&B one way ) for another geocaching event then a brief sleep. Then another geocaching event before Michells&hound hosted a CITO event in NSW. Of course there was time for finding of finding caches over 60 in the first day. Thanking those co for placing them and extra, extra thanks for the co for placing the gadget/field puzzle/creative caches. I left some fav points to let you know to keep up the good work. The way home was longer than getting there since we stopped and solved/stamped some multi's and off set letter box hides. Another good weekend away for us.

A JAMS weekend away was organised so that we could attend the tri state celebration eventsa plus a couple of other events and a CITO over the two days. We had a very early start and arrived at the Berri event only a half an hour after it started. After a coffee and some catching up we headed east over to Wentworth for the next event and a few caches along the way. More catching up, an AL and a visit to the sandhills, then on to Merbein for a couple of new AL's and more caching between there and Mildura. On to the 5pm event with lots of snags and slices that went down very well. Then a night cache before heading to Euston for the last event of the day. Only had time for a drink there, then found 3 caches and finally headed to our accommodation in Gol Gol. Slept very well, then up and about making our way to the breakfast event and more catching up. Found a few gadget caches before the CITO, picked up some rubbish and then started our drive home. Still managed to get a few caches along the way.
All in all a great weekend with thanks to all the CO's and organisers of the events.
A quick find as we headed to the sandhills.
Thanks for the cache Mebclever.

#13035 - 2:43:00 PM; Day 4 of the Wang Mega tour with Sol de lune. Made it to Mildura last night and after a good feed and a good night's sleep, "The Turtle Series" was our major target today. After spending most of the morning on that series, I caught up with family for lunch and some family business, before heading over the river for the rest of the afternoon in and around Wentworth. Found most of the caches we had on the 'to do' list, with a couple of DNFs as well. Those we found were mostly in good order and now have Sdl and L.L10n or vice versa in the logs as evidence of our visit. TFTC Mebclever
After a couple of great days in and around Wang at the Mega, followed by a drive to Echuca, LuckyL10n and I were now in Mildura. LL has some business to attend to, however with time before and after meetings we set on the path of the 'Turtle' and other caches that we passed by.
This afternoon we headed out to Wentworth to check out a few caches....as well as checking out the confluence of the two rivers. No issues with this one and our names were soon in the log book.
Thanks for the cache Mebclever....

Found during a caching trip from home in the Adelaide Hills, to Burra, Terowie, and staying for two nights at Broken Hill, then down to Menindee Lakes, back to Broken Hill and down the western side of the Darling River to Wentworth, across to Renmark for the fourth night and then home via Karoonda in the SA mallee Murraylands. Thanks for the cache Mebclever!

West New South Wales trip 2020. Day 7. I was joined by MinnieK and Fitzy_1965 for a trip planned to go from Goulburn to Forbes, Nyngen, Cobar, Broken Hill, Wentworth and Balranald. Today dawned a bit cloudy, but that did not stop is finishing the caches in Wentorth and the Perry Dunes. On the way out of town we were stopped by an unmarked police car for stopping before a checkpoint we were never going to go through. Nice guys, too many guns. Caching continued to Gol Gol, Euston and finished for the night in Balranald.

Continuing my first caching adventure with OzHockeyChick, Papi4506 & GeoTurtle37 and a mega adventure it is! A much quieter day today as we casually visit town and nab a few NSW caches before we get booted out. A nice quick find almost from the car window.

Time for a little trip in to the outback of New South Wales. A bit of a holiday and if you are on a holiday you cannot drive past a cache without collection some on the way. I had my Geo Chauffer driving me around to collect some cache.
Left Broken Hill today and headed down to Wentworth. Found this one while wondering around Wentworth once we arrived. No problems with it all good.
We found the cache, signed the log, replaced it back in its little hiddy hole, then on with our adventure to find the next one. Now we have logged it.

Beadling around all day and mostly out around Wentworth. Love this landscape as reminds me of my roots. Spotted a blue tongue lizard on the other side and took pics of Sturt’s Desert Peas earlier in the day, had a nice chat with a lady over hot ️ and a scone, visited the Perry Sandhills and Murray/Darling rivers confluence A fab day and purrfect weather here
Spotted the low flying aircraft sign a bit down the road. Took me a wee bit longer to locate this cache.

We decided to avoid the Sturt Hwy between Mildura and Renmark as it's a route we have taken many times and wanted to take a different way. So after leaving Euston we skirted around the north of Mildura via the Silver City Hwy to Wentworth and then branched off onto the (old) Renmark Rd adjacent to the airport. Once off the main highways we again began picking up the odd cache as we traveled towards Renmark. It didn't take too long before we had located the cache and were again on our way.
