Had a look at this on way home. The purpose for cache no longer applies, most probably been like this for some time now. There are no horse jumps in the paddock so no jumpers, only sheep. Looks like the fence won't be replaced that cache was in a t junction.
Container may be missing the fence it was in looks like it has been removed for pipe work. Either way the area is a working site so is out of bounds.
Quick find after reading hint log damp but signable found during overnight stop at holiday park
I continued my walk along the avenue and out into the road, along to this one. Quick find of a very well concealed cache! TFTC!!
The hiding place was sideways so i could see the cache as i approached. I returned it as it should have been.
Thanks for setting this nice little hide up

It's becoming a long walk to get all the Donovan Park cache with fences to skirt around.
Quickly found as per coords. The cache was exposed so I tucked it back out of sight after signing. TFTC!
Visiting from Auckland, enjoying the south. New year's eve, staying at the holiday park nearby. Quick visit here, useful hint and easy find. TFTC
On a nice afternoon to get this one.

Monday 26 October. Checking out Invercargill today. Lets go Toby!
Toby, Zara and I are on a 3 week geo adventure of Cromwell, Southland, Catlins, Balclutha with a day in Dunedin and quick stop in Timaru. With Lenny, my trusty navigator and TBD my companion/mascot. we managed to visit lots of green boxes, now happy faces with the odd sad one. Did some LABs , earth caches, virtuals and wherigos, all chucked into the mix to rack up 500 odd caches. Lots of kilometers, lots of exploring and lots of fun. Thanks to all COs for our wonderful experience.

Day 15 of my 2020 NZE (New Zealand Experience).
(My apologies for the delayed logging but I'm still in catch-up mode)
Seeing as I can't be in America right now, I'm touring around the South Island instead. During my time here I am aiming to find as many of the TMGT caches as I can (preferably all 41) and also as many Virtuals, Earthcaches and Letterbox Hybrids as possible, plus any Trads or others that will fill a hole in my D/T grid, my Jasmer grid, or else the last 3 remaining Hidden Dates on that grid.
I haven't been this far south since my very first holiday to NZ back in 1988, so this part of my tour is a chance to pay Southland a long overdue visit. And of course this is my first time here as a geocacher, so plenty of scope to find caches galore! Today's plan was to spend the morning in and around Invercargill before making my way over towards Monkey Island and then meandering my way up to hopefully get to Queenstown by nightfall. Having had a bit of damp weather over the last day or so, it was good to get the sun back today.
This would be my first cache for the day. Having treated myself last night to a powered site for the campervan at the nearby motor camp, this cache was right outside the entrance so I could go and have a look for it before setting off driving. It was a quick find for me here. There were no issues with the cache or the log, so I was able to complete the usual caching administration before the whole lot was replaced exactly as found.
Thanks for placing this cache.

After a night in Invercargill at the great campsite it rained a lot and I was on the road late. I stopped in the park and took a long walk after the rain stopped. The park is huge and beautiful. Thanks for all the caches in the park! I enjoyed them!

Easy find on a bitterly cold day. nice to report that even with all the rain lately cache is nice and dry, Thanks southlandicebergs for maintaining this one
Covered it up after filling in log as it was sitting out in the open like a sore thumb TFTC
A quick find today as we drove past. A quick dive out of the car and cache grabbed and log signed. TFTC [^]
Another day of work in town. Not catching a ride today, so managed to stop off for this smilie and clue on the way in. Fortunately I chucked the gumboots in - good move as its a bit boggy underfoot. Does pay to tuck both trouser legs in, but no damage done and I'm still presentable!
No need for the jumper of the wooly variety this morning. Not like yesterday when the overnight rain froze and we needed the warm water to even open the car doors. No equine jumpers here this morning either, though I did disturb a pair of ducks.
Thanks for the smilie southlandicebergs.
