Hi GLAD-NZThis geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no cache maintenance logged. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived. Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.RegardsTheCoddiwompler
Looked on the table, on the bench, on the sign, on the trees mental band thing. Nothing found
Out picking up some caches in the late afternoon sun. Nice and quiet at GZ, so able to take the time to hunt. Cache soon in hand. All good, tftc!
Very fun easy cache! We found it pretty quickly and we traded 2 items for some of our own
Bonus public holiday today, and Mumma muggle has to work, so off the boys go for a day of caching.
A few muggles around, but we managed to do the dirty work discreetly enough.
Thanks!

A nice quick find with the boys on a school holiday outing. Starting to drizzle when we arrived so not many muggles around. TFTC
Almost snapped by a ball wielding dog walker who appeared as we were extracting the cache but thanks to his head being buried in his phone think we managed to sneak it back into its hidey hole with him being none the wiser. Tftc
Straightforward find. Good to see the playground very well used. Thanks for placing the cache
Came out to Stokes Valley this evening to collect a couple of required prerequisite caches needed for a potential cache search next week. Also took the opportunity to grab a few others along the way. Arrived out this way about 7pm and it was already full dark here but the nice quite and still night which made it an enjoyable expedition. My main target caches were up on the reservoir walkway, but I did also find another couple of those pesky Eclipse tins at the entrance to the valley (like this one).
Everything was good here, cache was found without any trouble, in great shape, and the log paper was nice and dry.

Great find while out and about today TFTC left some TORO (Take One Replace One) inside
A nice quick find thanks. No one around to see me looking, finding and returning the cache.
Time for another trip to the North Island for Ms_KR and me. Wellington and beyond here we come.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Quite a conspicuous spot to be hunting for a cache but it was tucked away as it should be and I was able to retrieve between passing buses. TFTC
Having just hosted an event in Avalon Park, Lower Hutt, I went for a drive afterwards to try for some local caches in an area I don't get to visit very often. I was aiming for a few park 'n' grabs as well as the chance to look for some solved puzzles and Challenge caches that I've qualified for.
This was (hopefully) going to be a quick park 'n' grab. Being a Saturday afternoon, I don't know whether the area around GZ was quieter than it would normally be, but there weren't any people around as I walked over to investigate GZ. I did still feel a little exposed but I found the cache quickly in the first place I looked.
I soon added my name to the log and then replaced everything back as found ready for the next finder. Thanks for setting this cache up.

A quick find at the turn around of our family bike ride. A lovely afternoon along the Hutt River trail.
Yay, thanks for bringing this one back. Turning my blue face into a smiley.

Replaced today. Sadly this one keeps going missing so last chance before it gets taken off the list.

It may be because I didn't have much time or I wasnt looking hard enough but I wasn't able to see it...sorry guys
Luckily there was nobody around so a quick find. Given its proximity to a wide range of people it is good that this one has lasted the distance.
Took me longer than a straight forward one like this should have taken me, but got there in the end. TFTC!
Grabbed another 4 of the GROET series today and have to thanks CO for placing them after meeting him at the WENZ last year.
#6626. I have been up in Hamilton for the previous weekend and got a fair few caches done. So busy catching up with logs. However I needed a few caches for this calendar date so dropped my daughter off at the gym and raced over to the Hutt Valley. Only had 45 mins to fit in some caches so needed to be park and grabs. This one took a bit of stealth as there were muggles roaming around in the park and so had to feel for the cache when no one was looking in my direction. Didn't take long to find. Signed the cache and replaced where found. Thanks GLAD-NZ for the cache. Great to have another GROET notched on the belt.
I had a wonderful time looking for this one while my one year old played in the park. Was a pretty easy find. Thanks!
# 1252 I had been saving these couple of Groets for a day where i just couldnt face going out. I had intended to go out today but JimmyNZ gave me a phone call and mentioned that there were seven police cars on their way up our valley, and that there was a police cordon with road spikes near the valley mouth! So i just had to ninja down and have a nose as i live only 5 mins away from there. So i walked down the alley way stairs (past another groet mind you) and sat at the park for ages and was waiting for something to unfold. It looked a little serious as the police on the road spikes had his rifle out of the armoury! Turns out there was a gang battle further up the valley and these guys must have been waiting for the get aways. Its a bit sad to see that this has become a bit of a regular thing in Stokes Valley these days.
In any case, i had to wait until the eagle eyes of the police man were facing away before i could nip my head under the hint item to have a look. Nice placement, and actually nice spot to just sit and watch things. I have bought the dangerBOY to this bike bump park on occassions, it looks like fun.
Thanks Glad-nz for another of these easy to find ones. All good inside too. Glad the gang battle didnt seem to turn into anything too major.

we turned to this park to find this chache today. tank you for showing us this place.
I had a bit of spare time up my sleeve today which was quite a luxury for me. And what better way to spend the time than by finding a cache or two. I am also currently trying to maintain a daily geo-streak and so currently I try to find at least one geocache per day… which sometimes has proven harder than it sounds. Anyway that is how I came to be looking for this particular cache. I had seen this one recently on the geo-map… and so after parking as close as I could, I made my way to GZ on foot and once there I made a quick find. The log book has been signed and the cache is nicely back in its spot all ready for the next hunter. So thank you GLAD-NZ for taking the time to set up this cache. I really appreciate your efforts in doing so.
The last time I had a decent full day’s caching run it was way back on Anzac Day, so it is pretty fitting that’s next is on Armistice Day. I decided to head back to Upper Hutt and Lower Hutt region as even though I attended the recent mega and enjoyed it, I didn’t really enjoy the actual caching as it was more like queuing and waiting your turn for the log book and in some cases not even seeing the container and that isn’t my type of caching.
An early morning start to make the most of what promises to be a great sunny day. Another quick find here this afternoon. TFTC

Another quick find today of this series. About to start the Kingsley track series, so a bit of walking to do. TFTC GLADNZ.
Last day of the multi weekend. Picked up Capperz in Trentham for some park and grabs around Upper Hutt, followed by a nice walking trail. Made the ferry rendezvous with half an hour to spare. Thanks to all COs, especially those who have maintained their caches in time for the Mega event. It’s been a good weekend.

on the way up here for the challenge cache
What an elongated weekend with firstly an over night at waikanae and gatherin g in a few caches around there, and then onto the Hutt valley, travelling through to the Wellington Airport to pick up geo son and head to Karori where we stayed for the weekend and I stayed on for a further day or two before heading back up north again. At least the SH 1 was open going home and I I didn’t have to travel over Paekakariki hill which I did on Friday.
I managed several caches around Hayward/ manor park area, Avalon, Lower hutt and then around the coast to Breakers bay etc etc before going to rongotai and then south to Moa point etc. before heading to the Airport.
Saturday we picked up a couple of challenge caches and others on the way up to the Event, getting there in time to register and head to the CITO event. Then a few more challenge caches and trads before heading to the Flash mob. Back to the venue where we had tea and got ready for the quiz night. Which unfortunately went on a little long.
Sun day saw us pick up a long over due mystery cache on tinakori road before heading to Petone and then up to Upper Hutt where we completed the Lab caches some puzzle caches and thee wherigo before heading back yo Karori to have tea with grand chn and family etc.
Monday we went to Zealandia where we completed two more caches before taking geo son back to the airport. I then drove home the next day after the bulk of the traffic had gone.
It was a great weekend and a great Mega event . thanks to the organisers and ALSO thanks to the REVIEWER who alerted CO about the status of the their caches etc so most caches were actually there and not missing. This was a truly amazing effort on the REVIEWERs part. Thank you.

Two possible places it could be and with a family carrying fish and chips I had to make the dash to claim the gz first. TFTC.
Out with Lamroc....as usual, and finally found this one...it helps to look in the right place.
