A very reluctant rise this morning. Took the geopup to her first event where she made some new friends

This was the second early morning event in this place I attended and the sunrise was even more spectacular then last time. Loved the "top" location and huge credits to rats again for brewing up some bacon and eggs!!

What a fantastic spot and timing was excellent! I thought the views just before sunrise were some of the best Wollongong has to offer! Thanks for breakfast and organising the event, along with some nice talk about all things geocaching. TFTE!

Happy International Geocaching day everyone.

Over the years IGD has come to symbolise a lot that is good in my life… friends, adventure, education and varied geography. This event had it all… familiar and new faces, lots of chatter, an alarm that went off way too early, food and location, location, location! Thanks ICC for a reason to get up before sunrise and celebrate International Geocaching Day in a spectacular corner of the world... my home! Now back to bed for a quick nap before the rest of the day’s smiley agenda continues with more friends further afield

What a beautiful way to start International Geocaching Day than to share it with your caching friends as the first rays of sunlight hit the Illawarra.

I questioned myself as to why one should be getting up at 5.30am on a weekend but as the sun peaked its head over the horizon and the smell of cooked bacon waved passed me I was reminded that this is the best time of the day.

Thanks to all who share the experience.
