I had to do a trip out to one of our aircraft Wide Area Multilateration Site Monitors (aircraft surveillance) at Kurrajong today, to do the annual maintenance checks, and couldn't resist stopping off on-route to grab a few caches. This was the 6th of 7 finds, plus 2 DNFs, for the trip.
After completing my work up on the hill I was now on my way back to the airport (KSA), but stopped off at Kurrajong village for a few more caches, and this was the third one I came to.
Stopped on the side of the road for this one, and it was to be a nice quick "park & grab" on my way out of the village. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC Cruiseforever.

The second roadtrip after lockdown with the goal of of reaching 10,000 finds by year end. Covid-19 lockdown put a spanner in the works and with only two months remaining in 2021 to find 200+ caches. So it was time to select caches based on quantity rather than quality. However there were still caches on beautiful and unexpected locations.
So today's trip brought me to the area of Richmond, Kurmond and Kurrajong. I also planned a bit of an off-road trip to Mountain Lagoon for three out-of-the-way caches.
Interesting rocks/pillars close to the cache. But as it was fenced off I could not investigate any further. Cache was quickly found and logged.
This was 16 of 31 finds today. TFTC!

As I drove into the village, after a wrong turn, didn't follow instructions correctly, probably looking at the views I could see where the cache was going to be but there was nowhere to stop safely so I went down into a side street and walked back.
I could see a muggle waiting at the bus stop opposite, well I did have to walk on that side part of the way. I put on my inspectors hat and made look like my GPS was an assessment tool and began searching the item at GZ. Well that only took a few seconds to spot the cache and with careful positioning and bending at the right angle I knew she couldn't see what I was doing. I also knew she wasn't going to cross the road and risk missing that bus just to see what I had been doing.
Signed the log, replaced and returned to the geomobile. As I waited to enter the main road again the bus went past.

I was out today on a caching run around the area visiting Nth Richmond Glossodia,Freemans Reach and up to Kurrajong Heights.
I had an excellent day caching out here finding almost all that I searched for,
Today was extremely warm and dry with a thick smoke haze blanketing throughout however this didnt dampen the day in the slightest,
It was a huge day with many finds so a big thank you to all the COs for placing their enjoyable hides,I do apologies for my generic logs.
Thanks for the cache
