After the fright from the snake at the last cache, I was very happy to find this one with no accompanying wildlife!! TFTC
I found this cache on a tour of Cardinia Hills. One final find as I zig-zagged my way home. If it is going to be a nano, then this is the way to hide it. Thanks from D B-A
Out on a night time adventure with MsSmokeyBear. We decided to clear up as much of Upper Beaconsfield as we could for an easy run locally. Another great local one by the one and only Pinkpiggy 7, and this cache was in great condition.TFTC
A quick park and find after a very moving funeral of the mother of a close friend in Beaconsfield. tftc
Out and about with nyochi grabbing caches in the area and this was the first one of the day! A nice easy park and grab then on to the next one!! TFTC!!

Due to unforeseen circumstances Mr Smokey Bear will no longer be a part of Team Smokey Bear and will continue his adventures as "SmokeyBearOG".
So I'm relogging all previous finds under my new account.
Unfortunately this log will not show the original logging date.
**Thanks to Pinkpiggy7 for this adventure, looking forward to many more.**

Thought we would duck out for a few geo's... and after stopping for this one we called it a night. This one was an easy locate retrieve log and return but in the progress got eaten alive on this warm night... TFTC
Out with geocache hubby on the last day of 2022. It’s late afternoon and still hot but we decided to get to a few more caches before ringing in the new year.
Thank you to the CO for placing this cache. As usual the search was enjoyable
All the signs pointed in the right direction

Geo instinct took a siesta while searching for this cache ....I'm not sure what was going on as eventually I spied the cache in a location I had already searched.
A nice drive into the hills on the way home.
A quick find here, no one else around.
Thanks for the cache.

Such a beautiful and peaceful area, that is until a couple of hoons drove the track. After picking up a cache Walnut Grove, ‘Asylum for Female Inebriates’ which sadly now is not in existence (could have used that service a couple of times in my life), we drove the short distance to this cache.
Clue made sense, however we spent some time going over the wrong object. Once refocused, the cache was in our hands.
Thank you Pinkpiggy7 for the cache and the history of Bowman's track.

Out and about grabbing a few more geocaches today, hoping to get about 20 or so but that all depends on my luck. A combination of park and grab and walking between determine my success.
Circle work today.
**Thanks for placing this cache Pinkpiggy7**

To many people are finding our caches in breach of lockdown provisions, disabling until things are open again.
Not gold, but horses & real estate seems to be the business around here. TFT history.
After the log saying there is no log book in the cache I went and checked, and there was definitely a log book in there, I have replaced as only about 10 spots were left so best to put a fresh one in
I’m trying to fill in some dates on my calendar so this one was today’s.
Quick find on the way to work and exactly where I thought it should be, well the 2nd place I looked. Why do I always have a car drive past while I’m signing the log on these quiet dirt roads? I had to take a photo of the sign so I didn’t look suspicious
Thanks Pinkpiggy7

Out on a Sunday hopefully to put some smiles on the map, also trying to get through my solved puzzle list.
Always great to out caching but even better doing some caches from one of the nicest Co's I have ever met, Pinkpiggy7 is an absolute gentleman.
Found after a short search.

After a weeding CITO and another event this morning it was also earth cache weekend and I was lucky enough to join up with Papi4506 & OzHockeyChick and we headed out to Narre Warren to continue our days adventure. It was fun with each of us getting some caches that either one of both of the others hadn't found and could laugh at each other (I mean help each other) find the caches.
We parked across the road and I walked up and found it straight away, yay my second one for the day...at least I feel useful now.
Thanks Pinkpiggy7 for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

I bumbled around here waaaaay too long. With all the mint tins in the area (and my previous three finds for the day) I mistakenly thought this would be the same! But after a mental reset, this cache was found right away. Thanks again Pinkpiggy7 for taking us down these back roads.
A quick find on a quiet morning. Rolling the log back up took longer than finding it.
Out and about last Tuesday with Trailstevo and whilst staring at the map I spied a little walk (with some suggested hills) and a few local drivebys that needed some attention. Off we trott on the warm evening and on arrival realising that I had been here before, which I soon realised why. We completed our circuit, collected the clues and picked up the mystery cache. Then off to some country roads for the other quick finds but we did decide to leave one which had a dog nearby and as it was late we didn’t want to concern any neighbours. Thanks Pinkpiggy7 and SmokeyBear for the fun and adventure, think we scrapped through double figures which is not bad for a Tuesday night!
Out with Gunks for the first serious night of caching. Did a loop around for 5 caches then a bunch of drive bys. Nice night for caching. Decent walk early. TFTC
SuperPop had come down to visit us for a few days and even with the forecasted unpleasant weather we were determined to try and get a few caches for the day before the heat really set in.
We thought that we would try and pick up a couple more in this series as we made our way down the hill home from Emerald.
We were only aiming at caches that weren't too far away from the car as none of us really wanted to go for a long walk in this weather and these caches fitted the bill.
Again we were happy to be able to park in some shade and headed off across the road to see who was going to locate this one. A quick search around the obvious by the two men found nothing so we expanded our search to other possibilities when Diane walked straight to where we had just looked and spotted the cache we had somehow missed but at least we added our initials to the log.
Even though we lived in the area for many years we didn't really know the history of Bowman's track but now thanks to these caches we do

After a pleasant drive along this part of the road, I pulled up to a quick find at GZ. It has been a few years since I have driven along here, so it was a good reason to return.

Having a quiet day today, we decided to go to the Akoonah Park markets. Afterwards we had some time to go geocaching.
This was the closest unfound cache and even though I was pretty sure the correct route I programmed in the GPS. Got to the gz and did a quick u-turn to get the best parking spor.
Cache was then quickly found and it look longer winding up the log.
Thanks for the cache Pink Piggy 7

Strangely I don't recall getting notifications for either of these latest two.
Checking my map on a moist Sunday morning and there they are.
I may or may not have snuck around this very location a while ago suspecting a cache, but I must admit I didn't look there before it was published. I have to search more thourougly at any future likely places. Thanks for highlighting this track PP7

After attending the Dads day breakfast event I decide to find a few more cache while I was in the area.
Well this one took me longer than it should have, while I was looking everywhere that it wasn’t, the cache was just sitting there looking at me the whole time, eventually I spotted it.

After finally getting to another bowmans track cache I headed out to this one. Not realising it was also a bowmans track cache. It is very wet out here and the gps had me searching in circles a little bit after the previous find I was expecting similar and was not dissapointed I was surprised I didn't see it sooner though. Thanks for another one pinkpiggy7
Took far too long to find ! My excuse was the compass on the the phone was dodgy.

About time I headed out on an early morning pre-work caching run so it was off to Upper Beaconsfield before first light. I had managed to bag eight finds already and this was the last one that I was able to stop for before heading off to work. Parked nearby and headed to take a look. As somebody with an apostrophe in my surname the punctuation on the road sign was frankly disturbing. To be quite honest I’m not sure if the road is Oneil, O’Neil or O'Neill but I’m pretty sure it’s not O,Neil! Maybe this was enough to put me off as I missed the cache at first but after trying a few options I finally spotted it. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache PinkPiggy7.

After that bunch of puzzles I did prior I thought that I would go and grab this little cluster of two caches before going back out into society and grabbing some fuel for my car. So before that I may as well take a detour and grab these trads. Both were quick and easy finds and I was happy to turn them into smileys. Thanks for the cache and the little adventure.
Biggles1024 rang me this arvo out of the blue and said there were a couple of new caches out in Beacy and was I interested in going for them. Well yes I said so I met Mark up the road. Well everything was against us today, roadworks, level crossings shut because of trains and at one crossing a police car was blocking our way. Finally got to the first one only to see a cacher heading to gz, so thrashed our way up here only to be held up by a USA type muscle car. In the end beaten to the punch by just a smidge.

**Traditional Cache Find #2144**
The weather finally came good and I headed out with The Swaggies on a short caching run. We were attempting a FTF here but we hit road works, two level crossings where the gates were down and locked and lots of traffic. For some unknown reason I was looking for a small size container here and its a nano. Second to find was the best we could manage.
