We were carefully picking our way through, keeping to the geo-trail and watching out for snakes when a different type of cache guardian suddenly sprang up from behind a bush and right near the cache. They werent particularly spooked by us and we loved having that experience of seeing a baby and its mumma TFTC
Find # 11900On a brief work trip from the National Capital to Adelaide and I have a list of caches to collect in very little time Couldnt believe my luck to land this trip so soon after the MEGA so I can collect even more counties and add variety to my stats Picked up the trusty hire car on arrival and off I go. Making the most of the opportunity to duck out for a few hours of caching fun Now to come up with some reasons as to why I need to drive around town doing research for the ADLABS All caches expertly located, retrieved, signed, and replaced. Thanks hevwalker for Lifetime Trees
Found it! Quick find on the way home from lunch at the Macclesfield Hotel. TFTC!
Tuesday trekking turned into a Wednesday wander for a trio of Confused Puzzlers. The plan was for ttrogg to pick up the Rat from the Rat's nest.We then drove up to pick up the Starfish from his abode.Today's plan was to cache around the hills.took a stroll to GZ.Gps took me to another spot.So I thought where would I put a cache.Bingo cache found, logbook stamped.Needs a new logboog, Sorry I did not have one . Tftc
Not really sure how long ago we found this one but have backdated our log a few months anyhow.Great little wander, didnt even know this was a spot, we are usually flying past on the main road and havent noticed the road in. We were up this way on our way to Mount Barker and just doing a few detours on our way back. Thanks hevwalker for the cache, signed log and replaced safe and sound as found.
Cute container. Log book was a little full but didn't have anything in the car that would fit as a replacement. Thanks it's a wild and woolly day with the wind through the trees sounding like the ocean.
Our first cache after taking up house-sitting/ dog-sitting duties in Echunga. Quick find, very cute. Thanks Hevwalker.
Log nearly full.
Log nearly full.
First for the day and it's always good to start with a find .Heading south to our weekend campsite, caching along the way .Suprisingly, there were people here - and not looking at the cemetery [8)]. Fortunately, the cache was far enough away from the carpark to be seen .TNLNSL.Thanks Hevwalker.
#500!!
It has taken us 9 years of geocaching to get to this milestone (with about 3 years of no caching in between that time)!! Such a great feeling to finally get here
Cute little hide! As mentioned in a previous log, a small repair is required, I didn't have any glue to do this myself unfortunately, but wont take much. Left the part next to cache as it was hidden on the ground and was unsure it would be found at a later date.
Thanks for the cache and for creating the opportunity to get out in nature.

Today after getting an FTF in the morning and an event in north adelaide we headed to the hills to do a few short walks and find a few caches before lunch time.
Total of 13 for the morning.

Thanks for bringing us here.
Interesting to read Davidwazza’s note, because that was my first thought too! Big roo waiting for me at GZ on this cool morning. Great spot; thanks for bringing me here Hevwalker. FP.
Out to pick up a few to keep the numbers going.
Didn't realise it would be raining all morning, luckily it wasn't too heavy.
Took me longer than it should have.

Another flying trip to Adelaide and another day out with Dr Owl and JJ52. I don't know who finished up with the most finds but one of us had visited most cache stops previously and there were only a few where all three scored a find on the day.
After a few months in the dry red center it was nice to see greenery and clumps of orchids in flower.
Thanks for the cache hevwalker.

Sushilord was in town again, so Owl teamed up with him and JJ52 for a caching day out. Various caches were found in random locations, a good coffee place was discovered and lots of conversation was had on all manner of topics. This one was the subject of orchids, which were prolific in the area. It was difficulty to find a place to walk and avoid them, so the Fish had the cache in hand while the Owl was still trying to find a path.
Today, the objective was to group assault the new *Tinjella Trail* deck of cards power trail with Brad&Janet, Freddo, and gridge98 via mountain bikes. Well, two of our group were fortunate to have e-bikes. The Tinjella Trail took us just over three hours to complete, and then we re-fuelled ourselves at Meadow Bakery. I continued to geocache around the area targeting some oldie caches, a few prior DNFs, and mountain biking the *Are you kidding me?* series. I soon became tired and the sun was setting, so called it a day. A really nice winter day to be riding around.
I decided to make a last-minute decision to stop here and make this my final cache find for the day. I made the short walk from my car to GZ, where I found a familiar style cache. Could this be Gilles Gull's sister cache? The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks hevwalker for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Freezing cold day, visited Hahndorf for a hot chocolate and scones, decided to pick up a cache before going home. TFTC
due to covid 19 I have been transferred to little Hampton batch plant " till further notice ". That could mean September of this year ( that when the forecast housing slows down for building ) or for the next 3 years, so I am clearing the caches now between home and work when I am not doing over time. This is the first of the caches found on the way home. Quick find, and nice container.
While Mr Frog was visiting his cousin, I made a quick find

I had a plan to head out for the day and target a few caches that required a specific TOTT and a few other caches in between. A nice little caceh in a nice (sort of) spot, just hope I do not end up here perminently anytime soon.

One of only two GC caches found on our run to pick up moveable caches today.
A quick find on a well made container. I liked the container so much I'll give it a favourite point.
Upon approaching the cache, I scared off about four or five kangaroos, and I see they must hang out at GZ often by the look of the ground around here.
Thanks hevwalker.

Found as part of the 7 Day Streak Souvenir challenge. It was dark, I forgot... again... to go out earlier for a daily cache.
Replaced the log for CO, old one was 3/4 full. Nearly got lost in the bush, was seriously only 30 metres from the car. Gosh, I felt like a right doofus!
FP for the cute hide and awesome location

Always good to find a different cache with some effort put into it’s making. In a nice spot to. TFTC
What a neat little cache?!
The first one we have found since we were in a hiatus.
We also had a few spectators who didn’t seem fussed by our presence.

Hi there hevwalker. Today was a Geo-day with the event in Mt Barker the prime reason. We went to hahndorf first for brunch and then to the event. On leaving the event we travelled towardsStrathalbyn finding a few caches along the way, before returning home to Mitcham. All together - a very enjoyable day. The container and log are in good condition - SL. Thanks to hevwalker for this cache - our find # 6325.
Accurate coordinates led to a quick find of a great novelty cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks hevwalker for the cache in a very peaceful area.
Hadn't been to this out-of-the-way cemetery for a long time. Very nice to visit the secluded spot along a quiet, hidden rural track. Thanks for the cache hevwalker!
Thanks hevwalker for a great cache. Went through the trees and back via the fence. As signed log a roo effortlessly bounded by. Sweet
Out and about with a few friends on the golf course so they played on and I went bush to retrieve the cache.
A lovely location, well worth a stop and visit. Quickly found today with Chloe the geodog.
Thanks
Thanks
I had nothing planned today so I thought I would go for a drive along some great dirt roads/tracks to get the new Fleurieu High Roads caches as well as some others that have appeared since I was last in this part of the hills. [^]
I had a great afternoon driving some very obscure tracks following my GPS from one to the next (I may have even driven a fire track which had a sign saying authorised vehicles only) One of the tracks was so narrow that if I had met a car going the other way one of us would have had to back out. But gee it was fun.
This was my last for the afternoon just as it was starting to get dark. [^] Made my way to GZ and found the cute little cache.
As I was driving back to the main road I spotted a kangaroo just standing there looking at me. I stopped to take a photo, but he didn't like that idea too much and decided he would hop back into the bush. [^]
Thanks for the cache hevwalker.

It was such a lovely day I thought I just had to go for a walk in the sunshine around Scott Creek Conservation Park and find some caches..
But first I had to get there and found myself driving past this cache. Of course I just had to stop and find it. I can't believe I have driven this road many times and didn't know this cemetery existed. Still learning. A short walk and the cache was in hand.

Mr Tardis dropped by to find this new one. A nice bush reserve around the cemetery. Approaching GZ I saw two roos a very big one and smaller one. The big one was nearly as tall as me!
I found the lovely container after reading the hint.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache hevwalker.

A slight detour on way home from Strath found me here visiting the residents 3 hours after publishing.
A cute hide at a spot I think I've visited before.
Dropped my *FTF* geocoin through too.
