During my trip to North Balwyn, I thought I could make a second handbag find. I like Jake! Didnt need any tools so not sure about the previous log. Love the handbag. Who wouldnt? Id even have it in that colour. Thanks!
Hello Jake!*Need tools for this one*I completed all the puzzles while traveling and in my downtime in preparation to find them while in Melbourne. Greetings from Texas!
Thanks for the cache but there is a problem as the logbook got stuck in the cache and the book got ripped up. But thanks for the cache though.
The logbook got stuck in the container and it got ripped but thank you for the cache
After many hours, our puzzles are complete. Today, we ventured out to begin the hunt for the hidden cache. Thank you for the puzzles and TFTC. Teen was very impressed with the 3D printed cache. Hopefully it will stay in place there is a lot of activity with painted rocks beside the cache. Love exploring our parks
Enjoyed this series of puzzles, some took quite sometime to finish. Down in Melbourne this week I finally had a chance to collect a few on a slightly different PT route out to family. This one was found quickly thanks to the hint. Log a mess and unable to sign. Loved the nearby rock snake! Beware! Thanks for this puzzle series sharkiefan & frilk and placing/maintaining the cache. #2998
We had a baby magpie providing some encouraging squawks as we zeroed in on the cache. Made sure we said hi to Jake as well while we were here. Tweezers were handy for getting the log. TFTC.
I decided to target as many handbag series caches as I could before work today and before the rains came in. I think I managed to get a dozen before I had to travel back North and start work. I really enjoyed the puzzles for this series which kept me entertained for many nights in front of the TV. all the caches I found today were in good condition and spot on coordinates. TFTC Sharkiefan and Frilk for keeping the fun alive.
What a GREAT cache! Aussiejan got her hands on it first unfortunately could not sign log- damp and sticky. First find for the day!
Took a while but eventually geosense kicked in and I found it.Love the container and the Rock Snake JakeUnable to sign log as it's wet
In Melbourne and with some spare time I caught the tram out for a geo walk collecting random caches and ad labs. Nice to come back and nab some of this series. Thanks for placing and maintaining. Still more to find one day!
I completed this magnificent handbag series during Covid and have looked at those solved coordinates many times, but it wasn't until tonight that I decided to make a start on finding some of these caches. I had completed 1.4 adv labs in the area tonight, so that put me close to this one. A quick find in the dark. Nice hide, great series, TFTC
After solving the jigsaw at home this one was number 5 on the list for our ANZAC day dog walk. Geo daughter found it on her own. Thanks.
I had an errand in Northcote today, so took the opportunity to search out some caches on the way home. A pleasant walk towards GZ today with the rain holding off. Approaching, I couldn't see how a cache could be effectively hidden here, but soon noticed a familiar shape. The upper is fine, but the base is broken. The inner log container is in good dry condition, but the previous finders log rolling technique left a lot to be desired. The admittedly extensive log sheet for this container type was scrunched and jammed in. I rolled the log to the best of my ability and it fitted much more neatly. TFTC sharkiefan and frilk
Solved the puzzle awhile ago, now out to find the cache with my 8 month old daughter. Havent seen this type in awhile , always good to find one of these sitting out in plain sight but cleverly disguised.
On secondment to Melbourne, Australia, combined with short holidays here and there. Day 29/74, Monday. After the workday, it was almost 6 pm, I headed to do some handbag hunting. I took a bus and started a big walking tour when I got to the area. I found 10 handbag mysteries (thanks to my sister who helped me solving all of them, so shared responsibility even if she is never going to get them), 5 adventure lab locations and 5 other caches. The evening turned dark before I was ready to take a bus home. What a nice evening! All handbag series caches were quickly found. I really appreciated the hints! Thank you for the cache and greetings from Vaasa, Finland! Logged with [GCDroid](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gcdroid).
FUF009 was visiting for the long weekend. We decided to find the handbag series, seeing as I adopted it out over 4 years ago.It was very strange being back in the old neighbourhood. Many things have changed, and it was interesting to see if I recognised any areas and hides. It was probably around 50/50! My thanks to frilk for taking on these caches and keeping them up and running.
Find # 13371Found with sharkiefan After the Australia day event in Werribee we headed out east to tackle the old handbag series.Had these worked out when they first came out, can remember some of the puzzles taking hours to complete , it's just been that long since planning a day to go get them. TFTC frilk
What an interesting hide, and definitely didnt expect to find it when i did find it but nice little area TFTC
Questa serie stata risolta a casa, oggi andiamo a raccogliere i frutti.Con NitiFlex faremo parecchi km camminando quasi sempre in parchi e percorrendo una zona residenziale, posti tranquilli e ben tenuti.Saluti dall'ItaliaTFTC

We found ourselves back in Balwyn today for another Netball training session so while F & M went about that, B & C ventured off in search of some more handbags. In the lead-up days I managed to finish all the puzzles we hadnt already done. No way we would have had time to do them all in one hit but at least we could pick and choose a section knowing where the all were. Set off with Chester the wonder dog for a nice walk through the burbs and managed to pick up a series of 6 before heading back to the car. Thanks for the puzzles, all caches found in good order.
As I mentioned in my [**Found it Log**](https://www.geocaching.com/live/log/GL1B66WP2). The bottom of the cache container is broken and now the bottom of the cache container no longer seals. I could not locate an inner cache container or a logbook. I could only find the outer cache container. I signed and placed a piece of *"Rite in the Rain"* paper in the outer cache container as an interim control.
I once again found myself needing to find a mystery cache today in order to fill in a missing calendar date for [ahomburg's](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=1ded3729-fe62-40bb-9f5f-fd559e7163b1&wid=2ea93f43-d6fb-4f7e-938a-bacef589ab2c&ds=2) [WCW - Almost a Complete Mystery Challenge (GC9Z59N)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC9Z59N), so I came back out to find another one in this series. This one was another nice and easy puzzle. I ended up solving this one the same day I solved the first few in the series, on a night that I had a bit of extra time where I was just relaxing and watching tv while solving it. So after work I hopped into the geomobile and made my way to GZ. I was able to park fairly close to GZ and lucky for me there were no muggles aground. My phone homed in on an obvious beacon and after a bit of searching I was able to locate the cache container. Unfortunately, the cache container was ripped in two. I am not sure if there was an inner cache container, but it was no where to be seen and I could not locate a logbook. After further inspection the bottom of the cache container was broken and now no longer could really form a seal. I ended up putting in a spare piece of paper, but without a plastic bag and I don't think it will last to long. I ended up picked up the [Corsika 2016 Nr.1 (TB7F7QB)](https://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?tracker=TB7F7QB) trackable and the [David the Detective (TBAF1GY)](https://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?tracker=TBAF1GY) trackable in a cache yesterday, but due to the size of this cache I will just "dip" them here and keep them moving.A big thanks goes to [sharkiefan](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=34aa4c48-9615-4751-ae99-44e63866e71c&wid=d6d1b5a5-f77c-4e7f-9e08-3126adab0029&ds=2) for originally hiding this fun series and to [frilk](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=b232cbe3-1e56-43e6-b542-a1749314fd52&wid=7bbce2f6-7d7e-4a91-81d3-30adb21c17ac&ds=2) for maintaining it now for me to find. TFTC. **Cache Maintenance Status**Like I said above, the bottom of the cache container is broken, so it no longer seals appropriately. If there was an inner cache container it appears to have gone missing. There was no logbook, so I put a piece of *"Rite in the Rain"* paper in it, but without the cache being able to be sealed I think it won't last too long.
Amazing to find a cache so close to a scout hall, and it looked like they were celebrating something today as they had a few colourful balloons on display and the hall open.Dont know where all the people were though as there wasnt a soul in sight whilst I located and we added our names to this easy find, and off to the next one.
These type of puzzles aren't usually my cup of tea but felt in the mood one lazy Sunday afternoon to smash out some jigsaws.
Was in the area picking up another puzzle cache today and decided to pick up a few of the caches I'd solved in this series. The hint was bang on made for a quick find.

I've worked on these puzzles on and off for quite some time and I took the opportunity to find quite a few of them today while visiting ConnieandRick. It was a beautiful winters day to be wandering around and most of the caches were in good condition. Sorry for the generic logs for this series
Out on a Winters day starting this series. I have spent longer than I care to mention on how long it takes me to put these puzzles together - lol! Oh well! It's winter, and I solve these in days we cannot go and do caching adventures. No eain today so very lucky! We really enjoy walking through this green wedge, so nice!
We net Sharkiefan at the Rutherglen mega thus year and she gave me a few of her pathtags, which I treasure. Thanks for making this series and thanks to frilk for adopting and maintaining these.

Found this one pretty easily although part of the container is missing. The log was also damp. TFTC
With a few souvenirs on offer this month, we teamed up with beckNmonts and her sidekick ManfredWolfgang to tackle the handbag series. Perfect day with plenty of stops along the way for Manfred to greet his adoring fan club.
The container was missing the lid and the logbook was saturated. Added a new logbook.
Thank you sharkiefan for placing this series and to frilk for adopting them and keeping them going.

Today ManfredWolfgang, OSHFAM, Roxy the geodog and myself went for a walk after picking up some cat food nearby for the gorgeous Maddox. We found this cache on our walk.
Thanks for the awesome caches, frilk

Hoped to knock off this series today while my wife and some others attended a training session in the area. Too big an ask apparently as contending with traffic, kids playing soccer and footy at parks, and the fact that I was unable to bring my bike meant I probably only did about half. The fact that I didn't have any DNF', and a nice sunny day were some of the positives.
Thanks indeed sharkiefan.
Thanks indeed sharkiefan.
I solved the puzzles a few years ago during the never-ending lockdowns and today I found 22 caches in this series. I decided an urban walk was the go as I wasn't sure when the rain would hit. I did these as a few park n' grabs and the rest were done in long looping walks. There are only 2 that I didn't attempt today - there was school cross-country run right next to GZ at one and the other had a string of DNFs so I didn't bother. All the rest were found relatively quickly thanks to the excellent coords and hints. A really enjoyable way to spend my fortnightly day off.
Nice quick find on my way to out second last rehearsal at Malvern Theatre Company. Thanks for the puzzle and cache
Nice hide and cache container. I made sure to hide it well to increase its longevity. TFTC.
Solved these puzzles a while ago. Finally got to check a few off today! This one blends in so well!!
On my first walk past, a kid was sitting at the other tree and someone was waiting for the bus. I did a lap about the tree and saw the cache, but there's no way it could be retrieved. I walked off to get some others and grabbed this on the way back.
The cache is all good, except it may need a new log as there is only a scrap of paper inside.

Found after a morning event and helping at a cito event.
Solved the a while back and only had to correct a couple of cache on-site.
I like the green paths between the houses.
Thank you for the Puzzle and the hide sharkiefan and to frilk for adopting them).

TwoEms found the place crawling with muggles during lunchtime, so we delayed the mission and came back later in the evening. We tried to be quiet, except for the loud crunching under our feet—the sound amplifying our position in the dark. The night walkers stayed well away from us weirdos while we carried on crunching and searching. Target confirmed and in good order. Mission completed. Thank you for the cache.
We have arrived in Melbourne to attend the MEGA Event at Whittlesea, so of course we came over a few days before to do some geocaching first!
woolwood9 and I had a good time and this was a cache we located.
Very nice series - we targeted them all but couldn't find a couple in the time we allowed today!

Clever! Container is a little damaged, but I don't think the cache itself is in any danger. TFTC!
Found it! Walking on from the previous cache this was a quick find. I’m amazed it is still here!! Seemed to have lost the pen between here and the previous cache!! Oh well. Took a photo of the log book if required. TFTC SL
A lovely day to be out and about, clocking up 11.5 kilometres: one of those perfect Winter days. I enjoy solving jigsaws, though trying to do the higher #s are terrible on the computer. Did you know there’s a caching Facey group where you can get tips how to manipulate the puzzle site, full of disgruntled cachers who don’t like spending time on puzzles over 150 pieces. I see their point
Thankfully, the caches were not as tricky to solve as those last puzzles! TFTC Series.

Cool little cache and another one of our jigsaw puzzles...puzzles we've spent ages doing very therapeutic of course! Sunshine is bringing people out but still fairly quiet around here. Tftc
The camp and the cache had been separated when we arrived. Placed them back together for a good find for the next person, TFTC
Great coords - easy find as I slowly tick these off on my rare Melbourne trips. Tftc
This one was missing the last time I searched for it. Glad to turn it into a smiley today. Thanks for the fun series.
One of seven caches in the Sharkiefan Handbag series that I found this afternoon on this glorious February day. I’m still doing the jigsaws for the harder ones! Nice to be lead around some of the small parks and green spaces in a part of Melbourne that I’ve not really explored before. It all made for a most enjoyable day’s caching. Thanks so much Sharkiefan and frill. I’ll be back for more soon.
We solved quite a few puzzles (and mystery caches) during the 2020 lockdowns, including all of the handbag series. Today was a great day weather wise for a walk after the hot ones so decided to head out and find a bunch of these.
We took a really good path through Kew and found #1-5, #11, #16-18 and #25-30 leaving the rest for another day.
Thanks for the puzzles and the great walk through the area.

*Cache find # 12155.*
After Bernie's triple milestone event, before heading for home I decided to grab a few more handbags on the way.
It was a nice little stroll and each one was found with out any trouble.

Another with my niece Liz and her families dog Tim. Did Tim sniff out any caches? Nope! TFTC.
This puzzle series took a long time to work through. It was great to finally travel to this area to search for the caches.
The cache was found exposed and apart but all pieces found and put back according to hint. Thanks for the cache.

Nice hiding spot. There were a few muggles but we found it without anybody seeing. TFTC!
Glad I'm not yearning for this one, a tad on the expensive side Quick find today. Thanks Sharkiefan and frilk for the puzzle and the cache.
Thank you very much for the lockdown fun we had last year solving all of the coordinates for these caches! Finally signed all now
