WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 67 - Swan Valley Perth Day 12. My last county for th Perth region. The traffic was not difficult and I was soon off the main roads and collecting caches. The main section of the day was an eScooter section from Mills Park along a highway bike path. I extended it a bit to some other nearby parks as well. I saw a bit of the work on the new railway as I moved around today. I went into Gosnells for lunch and did some Labs while I was there. My afternoon was mostly a walk along a creek line behind an industrial estate bit it was surprisingly peaceful. One more set of Labs on th Canning River before heading home to cook dinner. For a cache that ended up being larger than expected and in a very visible spot, it took me way too long to see it. I was spending way too long at the wrong level. Thanks for the cache Paskersfind48187.6 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 2016 Follow Your Heart A#347**Albida**
Took the long way round for this one but its a beautiful day for a walk. Found nice and easy and signed log. Replaced as found. Thanks for the cache.MM

After having a damp sun showered rain walk in and going down the wrong way first…
I happened on GZ, went under some wet trees, got soaked and a hair full of leaves,
Again coming to the realisation I was again going the wrong way.
After getting myself out of my self inflicted muddle I location cache, spot on to co-ords and hint.
Meanwhile the footy game went on and I slipped out unseen and looking disheveled… with a smile for this find.

The last owners log indicates where the cache is. Could the CO please kindly update the cache page 'hint' so everyone can find the cache again.
While the menfolk cycled the Bindi01 track, Mrs Felix and I shadowed them in the car and found a cache or two along the way. TFTC.
Back in WA after being on the road travelling since early 2014.
Out and about caching with iluvtrekking today. Mr FelixII and Mr ILT jumped on their bikes to tackle some cycle caches, whilst Mrs Felix and Mrs ILT bimbled about in the GeoCruiser. Your cache was found by the ladies.
We looked and looked in all the obvious spots, then read the hint and searched within 10metres again. Frustrated and about to walk away we read some previous logs and saw that the CO has replaced the cache elsewhere.

Wonderful park. Would be even better in winter with water. Love it great cache too. A fav
Out in the hills today for an event at Hardinge Park in Orange Grove. Following the event, Tiger777 and I cleaned up a number of outstanding dots on the map.
Took some time searching in all the wrong spots before I decided to kick my caching sense in. Quickly located the cache following that. Cheers Paskersfind!

A day in the hills followed by the event at Hardinge Park, with plenty of caching in between. Great Camo!
A free morning before my appt to get my second COVID jab.
Established that I needed to be on the eastern side of the creek and once there found only a couple of likely hosts.
A good little PF camo found without too much trouble.
Thanks for the hide Paskersfind

Find 9 of 21 with a single DNF on a magical bike ride exploring the Canning River and surrounds on a beautiful winter's day.
A long ride across a caching hinterland to get to this one. Nice and quiet once over the main road though. Picked the wrong side on arrival, of course. Soon found the cache but the lid is cracked and has let water in, so we replaced the log, but the cache probably needs fixing up.

Cache was found on the ground. Unfortunately the log was too damp to sign. I took a photo of the cache as proof we found it. I returned it to its most likely location. Thanks for another cool camo.
Hi there Paskersfind - we were out this afternoon with our grandson Zaviyar who *wanted* to go Geocacaching, so we headed towards Cannington for a change. Tftc. The kids are making a mission to explore lots of new skateparks these holidays, and Mills was today's adventure. I'm happy with this plan, as it also means fresh geocaching territory. This was my first find here.
What better time to do suburban caches than x-mas day morning! Had a couple of hours before x-mas lunch to collect some smilies.

After trying one side of the river and completing a crossing, we took the long way. Took some doing but the well trained geokid got this one.
The boys enjoyed having a splash in the puddles over the bridge on the walk to this one. Once at GZ we let the phone settle and set about the hunt. Mr Z got the find here after a couple of minutes.
Thanks Paskersfind for placing this cache for me to find, this is find number 1613 for me.

Find #277 of 365 streak. I approached from the wrong side so a quick wander around to GZ. Magically I grab the cache immediately. Great camo. Could be very hard. TFTC
We were out and about nice and early this morning to grab some close to home caches before the heat got too high! Cheers and TFTC.

This baby was a bit out in the open with a slightly damaged lid but still highly serviceable. Hopefully we placed in a spot that matched what the CO intended here. Thanks for bringing us out here PF on this strange Spring day.
Got fooled into a false level of comfort by doing the easier ones first. After not seeing anything initially, checked some logs and realised it might not be as simple as the others. TFTC Paskersfind.
Wending my way home from Perth today, and taking the opportunity to pick up some solved puzzles on the way - and stopped near this series of trads, so had to grab the smilies for them as well. Loved this park and landscaping - and so did zillions of muggles! Approached this from the wrong side of the creek so walked around the long way. Took a little longer to find the clever cammoed cache but soon signed and replaced as found.
Many thanks for showing me this lovely area, and for the cache Paskersfind.

I was in the area today, and with some free time up my sleeve, I decided that I would have an attempt at finding a couple of the new PF caches. After searching for a few minutes, I found this cache completely by chance by putting my hand on it.
Paskersfind, I found your cache ‘PF MPC1’ today. It was the second find of four finds for me today and my total count now lies at 1049. The cache was found in a good condition, so I added my signature to the log book and I replaced it as I found it. Thank you for the cache, the hide and for bringing me to this location.

A perfect place for an early morning walk and finding some caches. Nice camo.

This was the toughest container to locate of the five I found this morning. I got back onto Roe Highway and rode west until I met Michael coming back from a long ride. Thanks. A favourite.
Out & about on this glorious winters day this was another cache found on our travels... After finally luring the kids from the playground we wandered on over to find this one Thanks to the generous hint Master 6 made a quick find here!
Thanks for another clever one Paskersfind

I have been waiting for some caches to appear in this park. I was ill when these were published - a shame really as they are really close to home.
Feeling better this morning, we came down for some brekky and a little walk to grab these.
Drove the car around to this one. Snuck up on this one as the footy game next door ended a quarter. Spotted a likely suspect and it was the cache. A fave from me.
Paskersfind SVKR_WA found your cache PF MPC1 today at 10:59:16 19 Aug 2018.
I am happy to have found it and thank you for placing it and adding to this great game.

Headed out this arvo to pick up these new PF hides around Mills Park, just as I was about to leave I noticed that they'd all been disabled, decided to throw caution to the wind and let my geosenses be the guide. Not really needed as all were well within expected ranges for me, the updated hints were helpful though. Got em all plus an extra one in about half an hour.
Parked up about 60 meters away here and ended up walking along the wrong path, thought it best to tackle number two 1st then grab this one on the way back. Arrived at GZ and had the choice of two trees, spotted something that looked to me to be a classic PF camo job and I was right.
Paskersfind I found your cache at 4:21pm, this was the 2nd of 5 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 4862. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

With great weather today I headed out to find some caches. This small series was first on the list even though I noticed they were disabled. I found 1,3 and 4 I couldn't look for number 2 as it was muggle central.
This one took a few minutes to find. I found the co-ords to be out about 5 metres but with the hint there wasn't a great deal of places to look. TFTC Paskersfind

Out today to claim the international geocaching day souvenir. Made a good run through the southern suburbs from Treeby to the city.
Thanks for a lovely morning.

We were supposed to be going out somewhere in a different direction but after seeing that these caches hadn't been logged we took a large detour to go and find them before heading to where we were supposed to be going.
Parked the car at the main car park and took a walk around the three caches actually in the reserve. It is certainly a lot better now that they have completed all the boardwalks and stuff which were not here the last time I did a cache in the area.
This was the third one we got to and again it wasn't a quick find as we had walked along the path from the last cache but found that we had ended up on the wrong side of the creek and had to make our way around the fences to get to ground zero. Once we arrived however it was a quick find of the excellently camo'ed cache.
Thanks Paskersfind for the cache.
