Thanks NAFFrunner for hiding this cache. Now that my calendar and streak are completed, I can just cache for the fun of it. Your Traditional cache, THORNES, was just what I needed to get me out of the house and exercising. This is my find #1949 at 10:22 on 25/8/2024. FTF: Found with: Weather: Muggles: Light level: Cache condition: Distance from GZ: Your cache was visited by my trackables: TB9QQD2, TB9KZ39 and TB7HH81
Quick find and sign on the way back to Dunalley from Dodges Ferry. TFTC lovely views
I must have passed this one about as many times as there are letters in the name, not knowing where to park in order to get it.
It was on my way back towards HBA after visiting Dunalley, that a very nice li'l spot the HBA side of the hide was found [^]
Walked back to GZ to make a swift find. THORNES weren't a problem, just the multitude of snails stuck to the booty lol
SL at 13:44 on TGIF 7 May 2021.
All is in A1 condition within the cache [^]

This was one of the last caches we found for the day a good few weeks ago now on our ridiculous geoadventure of a hundred caches in a single day.
Against all odds, we actually achieved that goal. This was somewhere around a hundred and two early in the evening after a super long day out letterboxing.
Thanks naffrunner for hiding a cache here, sorry for the late log.

A nice quick find. Thanks MARS B for chasing away the giant spider that was guarding it! TFTC
TB's were supposed to be on the Big Red Boat today, but the Corona Virus put an end to that. Decided to have a drive and visit a few caches instead!
Have been wanting to stop for this one for ages. Best and safest spot to park is at the top of the hill. Easy find On your way back to the car have a look at the interesting house on the top of the hill. Think they may have the next bushfire in mind. They’ll be safe! Cache was very exposed. All dry though. Have tucked it back under some bits and pieces. TFTC I’m off for a walk on the beautiful Connellys Marsh beach.
Wow!!! This one was well worth the short walk just for the spectacular views.
A quick find was made at GZ in the obvious place, plenty of signs of previous visits from other geocachers too with a fairly obvious geotrail taking me to the right place.
Our first trip down this road which we travelled to get the Stumps of Sugarloaf series.
Thanks.

While out about with Whitewebbs we headed to Forcett and down to Sommers Bay and surrounds to find some caches and this was one of them.
An easy find at GZ, cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

It was much easier to stop for this on our way back toward Dodges using a farmers paddock entrance. We admired the views from here down over the bay where we had just been. We checked a couple of spots before SSR found the cache.
Thanks NAFFrunner for all your caches today. We've two more of yours to do sometime but need a boat for those.

Tassie Trip Day 90 - It has been a great trip so far about half way now so today was to finish off the area we were in yesterday and after making a mystery find we went on to primrose sands to collect those wonderful hides.
After travelling to the GZ it was soon realized why there were parking location and after putting the car in that spot we made our way to the GZ to find a wonderful view and a cache to add to the joy.
Thanks NAFFrunner for again for another wonderful view for us to take in on our journey.

Hello NAFFrunner thank you for the cache.
A nice easy find.
It was nice to stop and have a proper look at the view as you don't see it as you drive past.

We're out and about today with Porkchop6977, doing a little caching on and about the Forestier Peninsula. This cache was the first of eight finds for the day (four traditional caches, three EarthCaches, and one multicache).
We've been through this area several times before, but never really stopped to take in the view before. What a great spot, with a magnificent view over the bay! Definitely worth stopping for!
Cache was quickly found in good condition.
TFTC!

tftc allways been a good view from here, even on the old road. all's good with the cache
Hi NAFFrunner, just completed your nearby Stumps series, with still a little time up my sleeve before needing to attend to my airport pick-up duty, so made my way further up the road, parked as suggested (although on the opposite side of the road) walked down to GZ and then decided to put in a full-stop because this sentence is getting too long.
Worth a favourite for the views and for the First Fleet connection. My great great great grandfather was also a First Fleeter, but on the other side of the law to Samuel.
I've never driven this road in this direction before, so had never really appreciated the quite spectacular view, so thanks for bringing me here.
Thanks for your caches which provided me with a very nice afternoon.
I'll have to come back to Connelleys Marsh to do another couple of caches another day.
#1177 @ 1455hrs Saturday 29th September 2018 log to follow.

Camped at Sorell, out on a fine morning for a few caches, quick find in the obvious spot. TFTC
After finding the eight caches in the "Stumps of Sugarloaf" series, we continued on to look for some other caches in the area. This was one of them.
It was blowing a gale and starting to rain as we parked at the recommended location. Walking to GZ was quite easy as we had a strong tail wind. Once there, accurate coordinates led to a quick find. Then it was a harder trudge back into the very strong wind to get back to the car. Thank NAFFrunner for the cache.

Out and about with the rafas to get some caches for a new challenge, the last cache on the plan, had trouble finding a parking space close, ohh noo I had to walk 100 meters. TFTC TNLN log dry out with good company. racing to get these before dark
Thanks for this cache NAFFrunner. It was the end of the week and I received a message from RLD4963 wanting to know if I was interested in locating a new series of caches between Forcett and Primrose Sands after work. After taking an early minute, and picking up the GeoGSP, we were soon on the road. After completing the new series, we decided we had time to look for one more before it would be too dark and so we continued along the road to this one. We found a suitable place to park - this was an interesting spot for the GeoGSP - a whole hillside of sheep and bleeting lambs! He got lots of cheese at this stop. A short walk and the cache was found, log signed, and returned to it's hiding place. Thanks for placing a whole bunch of new caches in this area, cheers!
Hi NAFFrunner
Got across the road safely and made a quick find; Sainting the cache without being "THORNED"
TFTC and cheers

Out and about caching and stopped to locate this newly published cache. Parked where instructed as dangerous to park anywhere else. Thankfully the farmer had moved on from the parking area, as we went down to the beach cache for a look first. A nice view from GZ. TFTC

Decided that we could not make the trip yesterday but when another FTF emerged on a nearby peninsular the "Primrose" caches were too much to resist. Parked appropriately and walked against the wind to quickly locate the cache with spot on coords. Fortunately it gave us a good view of the next location.
