#5567- Out caching the TRLT with thomo31. We found this one lying on the grass out in the open.Replaced close by. Thanks
Found with WaywardWoman while caching in the area. Signed log and returned as found. TFTC
Another short segment of the TRLT. And a beautifully scenic one. Didn't see another car or person all afternoon and all caches attempted were found and generally in good condition. Not always simple drive-bys and often took a bit of effort to find.
TFTC and for placing and maintaining this wonderful series Scenic Routers.

Spent a couple of days on the road doing a pre-lockdown pandemic caching run through the central tablelands of NSW. With cold nights and beautiful days I headed for the TRLT (The Road Less Travelled) and the scattering of caches in the towns nearby.
The recent wet weather made the roads slippery at times and many of the caches had taken on some level of water... Thanks to all the CO's for your hides.

Final day of our long weekend to try and finish off the remaining TRLT series with Rapidlywild. Probably not the best time to go with rain and snow forecast, but we have never let the weather stop us before. So packed all the winter woollies, thermals, gloves and beanies and off we went.
We nearly got all the elements over the weekend even in one day snow, rain, fog, sun and wind but there was also some pleasant weather thrown in there for good measure. Roads in some places were a little hair raising but the trusty 4WD got us through safe and sound.
With permission from some of the cache owners we replaced saturated logs and on a few occasions caches.
All in all a good and successful long weekend away, lovely looking countryside and views along the way.
Thanks for the hide and adding to the fun Scenic Routers and thanks for another fun filled weekend away RWLD.

Last month, FFLL and I begun the tackle against the TRLT series and managed to get a huge chunk done. Well, we decided we wanted to get it finished so with snow on the forecast, we bit the bullet and packed the thermals and set off to have some fun. We had rain, fog, frost and even snow but it was an awesome weekend for sure We reached out to the cache owners of the ones we had to complete to inform them of our intentions and also advise that we were happy to complete replacement maintenance if required, so we came across a few that after extensive searches, we didnt locate, so we replaced as approved by the CO. A large number of replacement log sheets left along the way also to assist with the caches with soggy log books.
Lots of places visited across the weekend, including lots of old churches and old cemeteries across the land.
Thanks for the hide Scenic Routers And thanks to the FFLL ladies for another fun weekend out and about the TRLT trails and others

Had a bit of trouble here. The GPSr took me 15 metres here and then 15 metres there and during one of my sojourns, I spotted the container just lying upside down on the ground behind a tree!
Thanks Scenic Routers.

We did some of the TRLT caches a while back and it was great to be back doing some more. Love the different styles of hides, some creative, some not and the quirky covers we discovered on some. The countryside is looking awesome and we enjoyed the rural locations and wonderful views. Thanks to Scenic Routers for hiding this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Saw a cute echidna walking across the cache area after a few photos we quickly grabbed cache tftc

We Have set up camp at the showgrounds to cpmplete another section of the RLT.
The country roads are very quiet today met about 2 cars in the 100k that we did.
We did a very long morning touring the many country roads, very dry & dusty.
Thankyou for placing this cache Scenic Routers

Yes, it is a top spot, but it’s absolutely freezing today! The cows were very interested in us. Another quick find. TFC

Hatzofff and I are in Bathurst for a few weeks house sitting, and of course have time for lots of caching. Today we journey to find more TRLT plus caches to the south west.
Found the cache exactly as described. Saw many new-born lambs in the paddocks nearby. I thought that would be a spring-time happening. Maybe destined to be the "Lamb Cutlets" as per another cache along this road?
Log signed and replaced as found on 5.6.2019 at 9.53am. TFTC, Scenic Routers.

This was our sixth and last day of seeking out caches on this mega long geocaching trail. The weather today was once again perfect, with hardly any wind and lots of nice warm sunshine. We did end up having to miss out a big chunk of the trail as just before GC7TRQ6 a halt was put to our progress on finding the forest road closed to all vehicles due to some very active logging going on (we had suspected as much on the way to the forest having become very aware of a large number of massive logging trunks both entering and leaving the forest). We therefore had to turn back and miss out the next big loop, instead picking up the trail again at GC7V5KD. Never mind, all worked out at the end of the day as we then got to do a chunk of the trail that we hadn't expected to have time to travel along. Once again we loved the scenery and the truly beautiful countryside the roads less travelled took us through. Who knows, maybe on a future visit to Australia we might get to travel along the currently "not yet found" sections of the trail? This one was a nice quick find once at Ground Zero. We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the cache at this great viewpoint for the other side of the hills. Greetings from Zimbabwe

OCW frazerdaze and marj01. House sitting at White Rock for a week has provided an opportunity to do some geocaching runs around Bathurst - mainly TRLT series indispersed with a number of trads and puzzle caches. During the day we saw lovely scenery, lots of sheep and cattle, a few foxes and one deer in the forestry area. We even encountered fire persons doing a burn off which included two of the caches we were chasing. Please excuse the generic logs and thanks to all the CO's for placing the caches and adding to our enjoyment. For expediency all logs were signed OMF.
A top spot to stop and look up towards the top

Our second day trip with Wilbert67 at Bathurst and surrounding area collecting caches, the main aim is to grab the TRLT and everything in between. Thank you to all the COs for their hides.
Our second big day around Bathurst. Again J+J.AU and me are fit to tackle the TRLT trail and all other caches on our route. Really great, but warm weather again made for an exhausting day. Enjoyed all the fantastic views on this scenic trip. Thanks to all the cache owners for puttinh them out there!

Thank you so very very much for this awesome series that is showing us around with minimal bitumen. Absolutely loving it. Nice quick find. Thank you for the cache.
It was time for a big weekend caching, so I was joined by Fitzy_1965 and MinnieK for two days to tackle the new TRLT caches just East of Bathurst, This part of the trip went smoothly. I also managed to squeeze in a few more on the day after whilst traveling between the rain on Monday.
Thanks.

16,748. Found with minniek and albida33 on a fantastic run around the area over 2 days.
When we saw the new sections of TRLT Series published we made them a priority to do asap. Having cached around the region many times and knowing how beautiful it is we were really looking forward to it. Drove up Friday night and we camped at the Trunkey Creek Showground. Yesterday we found over 80 of the new ones then went back to camp. This morning after packing up we headed off to try for the rest of them. This was the next of many caches. Quick find once at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache and we headed off to the next one.
Thanks Scenic Routers !! We appreciate your contribution to this great series !

On a road trip with EverestHigh and MaxAdventurer grabbing these new TRLT caches. This was an enjoyable trail with good hides and decent containers at GZ. Thanks to all the COs for going to the effort of placing these caches. A top cache this one is! And the view too.
We started from the northern end and finished around Barry. We even passed another group of cachers heading in the opposite direction! The road was a little more travelled today. TFTC

A nice easy find as we wandered along wanting to ascend to the top of the nearby mount, on a day like today, the views were always going to be spectacular.
One of over 200 caches found this long weekend whilst enjoying a fantastic few days away camping and caching with friends. Big thanks to all the CO's for placing the caches and adding to our enjoyment of what turned out to be an awesome weekend! We particularly enjoyed stage 3 of TRLT and loved the ones around the Mt Macquarie area. Stunning views today! TFTC Scenic Routers!

Life is still taking us on less travelled roads as we follow this new series of caches. It was a fun day today, except for the gale force "breeze", but we kept on until we reached the end of the caches on the selection list. Each found cache had its log signed and we were pleased to be near the lop of the list for nearly all of them. Thanks go to Scenic Routers for this contribution to the caching game and we are giving a favourite point for the caches in this section of the series.
Completed the Mount Macquarie to Tallwood section of the TRLT. Good day for it. All quiet out here on the roads. Signed and replaced. Caches all good. Thanks for all the new caches in the area.
