Found with teamashy just after a wallaby jumped out of a bush and scared her lol. Signed log and returned as found. TFTC
Being eaten by mozzies! Should have remembered this about wallington having half lived here for two years at the in laws house. I used to go to bed there and wake up 4-6 tines a night itching! I once got up and half drowned myself in repellent before going back to bed. Didn’t realise that I had made the bathroom floor very slippery by doing so. Partner gets up in the morning and nearly breaks his ankle. I was not popular. We were even considering buying a mosquito net because I was getting eaten! We moved out instead haha. Tftc
Another smilie gained here with mini ninny making the find. We managed to make this one much harder than it was lol.
Found with nin and mini nin earlier today after a little bit of backtracking

Out for a days caching with 6hinemoa2, bogonghazy and Tess. A very hot day, 37 deg, for a long and thirsty walk around the nature reserve. All quite fatigued by the time we finished. thanks Chan 5456
Firstly, apologies for the lateness in logging.
Despite my tardiness, you can be assured I enjoyed each and every cache found and not found.
Apologies if this is a generic log, my memory is good, but not that good.
Was out for the day with 6hinemoa2, Sorceysal and Tess the geodog.
Thanks Chan5456

Thanks for the cache Chan 5456, and your continued maintenance. A very pleasant afternoon for a wander . Such a shame Parks seem to ignore the area, apart from some clearing of fallen trees, little maintenance evident in the area. Perhaps best if left alone. One would think if Cinnimon Fungus was present that appropriate facilities would be available to clean footwear?? At least.
Mozzies are still hungry.

"Found it by luck! Very hidden!" did not intrigue us too much. Had a look but did not spot it
We initially overshot this location but once the GPS settled we were able to double back and make the find. Plenty of camo around here. TFTC
A cool day just right for caching & a convenient nature reserve. Make my day! GPS is settling nicely under the tree canopy allowing us to pin point the GZs accurately. Another quick find.
Enjoying our walk along the trail. We saw a couple of wallabies, some butterflies, magpies and pigeons - and the scat of wriggle sticks. No live action in this department, we are happy to add.
A much quicker find than the previous one.

A mid-week day off work so I grabbed the deadly treadly and headed down to Geelong to do a few short trails.
Filled in some of the Version II of AB4C, the Bike trail Baanip, and around the park at the Ocean Grove Nature Reserve.
Not too hot for a ride today.
I have used a few of these container, they seem to last really well in the open.
Over shot this one, but as the GPSr settled the hide became apparent.
Thanks, Robmc.

Took the travel bug and will help him move on.
Looked in the wrong spot initially and got scratched up.
Turns out it was very easy in the end even though it was a lucky find truth be told. Compass can be confusing

A nice pleasant afternoon and a bit of time opened up for a quick caching trip. I've been meaning to come back to the Nature reserve in Ocean Grove for a while now to look for a few more of the caches hidden inside. It seems like a bit of an unknown treasure even to the people who are down this way regularly and again I had the place to myself to enjoy the walk.
Lots of potential hiding spots around gz, particularly while I couldn't really get the gps to settle on any one particular area. After poking and prodding in an increasingly large radius I finally spotted the hide nicely tucked away. Thanks for the cache Chan 5456.

Another quick find by the geo wife.
Out for a walk with the family on a lively warm day. On a previous visit here I found the breeze to be quite pleasant and was hoping this would be the case again today. For the most part it was but did not stop all from getting hot and sweaty.
Thanks chan 5456 for the cache.
Found at 10:39 am on 28/12/18.

I enjoyed visiting the OGNR, saw a few wallabies, josiey caught malaria, and I found 10 of 11 geocaches that were sought. This was despite the phone GPS function being inaccurate by several metres the whole time we were there.
Always enjoy being in this lovely nature reserve, and today was no exception. Finding caches along the way only heightened the experience TFTC Chan5456
Took a bike ride around this Nature reserve to find the caches and enjoy this patch of original vegetation. Thanks for this series, Chan 5456.

There was a bit of time to fill in between the lunch time event and the dinner event in Lara and this group of caches looked like an excellent way to fill in the time by going and finding them so Jascat joined me for the wander around the Ocean Grove Nature Reserve.
We headed back to the inner circle and on to this one next.
The GPSr had me back and forth and while I was looking in one area, Jascat was standing there with the cache in hand and didn't tell me, smartarse.
**Thanks to Chan 5456 for placing this cache.**

After The Annual Christmas Event it was time to do some caches so I came along with Bushfire to find the caches in this area. Bushfire had two in this reserve that he hadn't found, so we were both able to get all the finds in the Ocean Grove Nature Reserve. I never knew this reserve existed, and I was happy to get the introduction with eleven caches! Bushfire brought our bikes along so that we could ride the trail and all the caches here were exceptional. Sorry I could not do unique logs for these caches but I have a lot to log after today. Thanks for the tour of this little reserve and all the fun caches along the way!
It was a bit late in the afternoon when i started this series. My heart sank when I realised that the reserve closed in an hour. My aim was to complete them all. I will have to come back for the others at another date as I wasn't going to be locked in there for the night. THis was found without any trouble.

Decided this morning was the day to get some more happy faces in this large park. Two paces from the track exactly, but my GPS initially had me on the other side of the track. TFTC

After a morning of home chores, a break, hopefully to put smiles on our faces and a few smiley tokens on our map was in order.
Ocean Grove Nature Reserve - No sign of echidnas or wallabys, perhaps they are having a break after the school holidays, however, there were countless savage mosquitoes keeping tabs on our activities.
This one was lying out in wait for us, hopefully we returned it a little more discreetly after signing.
Thanks to 'Chan 5456' for placing this cache on the geo-gameboard.

Find #3640. Found @ 15:05 with The Good Lady Wife, j-bean and skirrel.
We're in Portarlington on a getaway, and getting in some caching is a part of that plan. Continuing in a clockwise direction, and this was a nice quick find by The Good Lady Wife.
Took nothing, left trackable, signed log and visited some other trackables.
Thanks for the cache Chan 5456

Out and about with annabella02 again , great weather , great walk , great wallabies , great mozzies - glad we came prepared. Tftc
A day out caching with sassieold55 to build our points for the challenge.A beautiful reserve I would not have visited had it not been for caching. A fav point for the series TFTC
Apologies for the late log!!
Hubby and I had a rare day together where we could wander and find some caches. We dragged the "not quite a teenager yet, and not likely to get to it either with that attitude" aged child with us on a mild and sunny day.
We set out on what we thought was the right path for the closest cache, but turns out we went the wrong way. After some gentle bush walking we were on the right path and found the relative easy find. After that it was smooth sailing, the trickiest find at the bird watching site.
We spent a good part of our morning in the peaceful park before we made our way to lunch on the beach.
It was a great day, even the reluctant not yet a teenager jumped in and helped (probably to make it go quicker) and even smiled for some of it.
Another find by the McPhail family. TFTC.

Needing a few points for the latest challenge and also a trip down this way to do a little maintenance on a couple of caches , that done it was off for a wander around the reserve again.
I have discovered a track that is not on the official map put out by Vic Parks that saved many metres on my return to the White Beast.
Took a while to locate this guy but finally found it so with the log signed it was on to the next on my short list. Thanks Chan5456 fo the placement.

Suscoe found this cache late on a cold and wintry day.
The morning had been sunny but the afternoon was a shocker.
However a splendid win by our team and then a quick dash to the Ocean Grove Reserve made the cold and damp disappear.
A quick find for us and all good here late today.
Thanks to Chan 5456

Part 3 of the OG Reserve Date Day. We've been having some navigational issues along the way, such as being so engrossed in the conversation with each other we walked right past the cache... like 80+ metres! But we got there in the end!
Thanks heaps Chan 5456!

My pocket was going crazy vibrating away to its self while on silent. But temptation got the better of me. I had a quick look and a few minutes spare I was out the door.
As I approached the parking area to see kids, cars, tents and BBQs every where, expecting one car to be another cacher there somewhere so I took the quickest route possible as time was against me and maps.
Caching instinct and distance judgment were my only tools as _BFMF_ came jogging from the other direction for a joint [FTF].
Log signed and replaced as found.

Joint {*FTF*} with AusFox
The caching gods are in my side today. I was sitting in the home office (on a day I normally wouldnt be there) when 3 new caches dropped in. Two were quickly discarded due to distance, this one peaked my immediate interest though. Was in the car in a matter of minutes having taken care of the pressing work issue. Message despatched to ausFox to see if he was heading down as he would likely beat me. Got a message from Sims_family asking if I was heading down. Long story short I end up on a conference call with the two of them, only to find out AusFox was already there.... “Where are you?” I was asked, “Im just pulling up in the carpark”... “Well hurry up, im still here...” next thing im running down the trail to make it before AusFox has to go back to work. Huffing and puffing and well aware of my poor general fitness I scribble on the log, not having had much time for more than a 30 second chinwag before going about our seperate days... Thanks for the hide here, my 12th FTF which increases my streak to 7 consecutive months with FTf’s.
