In 2019, we completed the lap around the airport on our first visit to Geraldton. We did not find one or the other cache. We wanted to go looking for them today. We were happy if we were able to ride the lap with e-bikes, because there was a strong headwind at times. We found almost all the ones we were looking for. Many thanks to the owner for laying the cans.
Day 16 of the road trip, and 2nd full day enjoying Gero. Main objective today was to make a start on the Observing Planes series, so while picking some of those up, I diverted here to add on *just one more* Nice easy cache & dash here today. No problems - thanks for placing. TFTC
While we were completing the Plane Spotting series, we hopped across the road to get this cache. It is very waterlogged. We have replaced the log with a new one, which is good to go for a bit longer. Cache really needs some TLC. Thanks for placing this cache for our enjoyment.
Jack and aliyah found on the 02/10/2022, container full of water so couldn’t leave anything
Caching in the Greater Geraldton area today. Our intention for the day was to attack some power trails and do map cleanup around town.
Cheers Geroevents!
Cheers Geroevents!
Day 2 Arrived in Gero last night. The plan today is to hit the series and caches around Gero. Thanks to the COs for placing these caches - sorry for the genetic log. Signing as GT
In Nanson visiting some older friends that aren't travelling too well and we came into town to pick up some supplies for them and thought that we would take the opportunity to grab a few caches as well.
This one might be the first in the series but it's actually the last for us as we have found quite a few of these on previous visits and must have missed this one. We found a nice safe park and walked back to gz where the cache was found quickly and our name was added to the log.
Many thanks Geroeverts for the cache.

Started our 2nd tour of WA now touring around the south slowly heading north on our way home to Cairns. Did your Narra Tarra 1 today. 1 March 2022 2:30 pm Tyfc Geroevents total caches now 4401 .
Thanks Geroevents for placing this series, I unfortunately found the majority of the series in serious need of owner intervention. On the ones we found we managed to sign the log book either boldly or weak depending on the status of the log book.
I have attached photos to a few as to how the cache was found either in the open, open with contends everywhere or other.
This series has been on the list for some time and I will remain that way as I have a few sad faces to to convert to smilies next time I’m passing through.
All in all I managed 11 out of 14 so all is not lost. TFTH

Hi there Geroevents. While out on the road today we found this cache after a short search - and the container and log are in good condition. TN, LN, SL. Thanks to Geroevents for this cache - our find 7952
Today our tour - which began in Perth, WA , and led us thru Western, Northern and Southern Australia back to Perth, was from simply cruising around in Geraldton
.
On the way we came to some interesting locations. Here we searched, found and logged this Tradi-Cache.
Weather was good in the morning and it should even get better during the day.
Thanks to 'Geroevents' for showing us this location and for the fun we had with 'Narra Tarra 1'. The search here and today didn't take too much time, fortunately. No trade.
Greetings from Germany and we hope to see you soon in the forest.

Accompanied with iluvtrekking for the day - the weather was so beautiful day. Signed the log as " EV + ILT" ,

Found it. TGTC Geroevents. Great series here. Not sure if this was where it should have been, but It was replaced as found.
Visiting friends in Nanson we realized we did not have much time to complete the Mystery at the Museum Souvenir Challenge so we decided to go out and try and finish it today. Sadly we could not find this one today and with lunch time calling we decided to come back to this one.
Thanks anyway Geroevents we will return.

Hi there Geroevents.
This is the 1st of 4 caches we didn't find today. [:(!]
We spent quite some time here but we just couldn't locate your cache, so here's a DNF from us.
Regards
Ian and Penny

Mr OOH YEH was staying overnight in North Hampton so he left crazy early (about 1.30am) so he could get some caching in before he arrived there. He done really well with only a few DNFS which was good for Geraldton caches lol.. Thanks to all the CO,S for placing these caches
Was on Geraldton today with the plan to grab a few of the new caches around town (which were great!!) and the Narra Tarra caches which were published to concide with IGD 2018.
I must say I didn’t have a great day with 10 finds on the Narra Tarra trail and 9 DNFs.
The series seemed ill thought out and I didn’t enjoy the caching.
It was hard to concentrate on finding caches when you have trucks whizzing past at 100km/h and parking is very limited on the edge of the road. At some points my wife couldn’t even get out of the car that’s how tight the parking was.
Placing caches on near on blind corners is asking for a catastrophe, and hiding micros amongst bushes when there is plenty of room to hide regulars and even larges is baffling.
Can’t say I had fun, but ten finds is ten finds. Thanks GeroEvents.

One of the fundamental parts of the game is accurate co ordinates.
The co ordinates for this cache place you in the middle of a road.
Can these please be fixed.

Day eighteen of our 'loop tour' checking out the wildflowers and caching along the way.
Quick find. Thanks Geroevents

A 10 am start for the Gero International caching day with all of us meeting at Fig Tree Crossing. Thanks to Amber and her team for organising a great event. After renewing old acquaintances we teamed up with SKI Pair and joined the rush for the 14 newly published caches. We started at Number 12 and worked our way down the list. Finally at number 1 and a quick find. Coincidentally this was number 700 for us. Now back to number 6. SL TFTC
Today we headed out to the Geraldton International Geocaching Day Event. A great day out, with a series of new caches released at the event to search for, a sausage sizzle, lots of prizes and a great lot of friendly people. Well done to Greenfamilyg for their organisation of the day, not a small task and even more so considering the family mishaps. A great day out!
We teamed up with Squash2 as we joined the rush to get out and find the new caches and be the FTF.
We started in the reverse order purely by chance, but it was a good decision as we bypassed the final few and started nearer the middle.
We had now made it back to #1 on our chase through the series.

Drove over 460kms to Geraldton for IGD. At the end of a very long day we thought we had better finish this new series. TFTC Geroevents
