Thoroughly enjoyed the drive along these roads less travelled. Thanks for placing. TFTC

Today I grabbed the youngest and headed out for a day of caching, and largely aimed at doing plenty of the TRLT series. The drive along some of these back roads was glorious, and even had the youngest saying how beautiful it was out here. A fantastic way to spend the day.

Great day out grabbing some caches with DSD.
Felt like we had the universe to ourselves and banged around some great forestry roads.
A number of caches had accrued some moisture and a few seem to have suffered from road works. Everything else was super duper

Cake or pie? I can tell a lot about you by which one you pick. It may seem silly, but cake people and pie people are really different. I know which one I hope you are, but that's not for me to decide. So, what is it? Cake or pie?
He walked down the steps from the train station in a bit of a hurry knowing the secrets in the briefcase must be secured as quickly as possible. Bounding down the steps, he heard something behind him and quickly turned in a panic. There was nobody there but a pair of old worn-out shoes were placed neatly on the steps he had just come down. Had he past them without seeing them? It didn't seem possible. He was about to turn and be on his way when a deep chill filled his body.
Turning away from the ledge, he started slowly down the mountain, deciding that he would, that very night, satisfy his curiosity about the man-house. In the meantime, he would go down into the canyon and get a cool drink, after which he would visit some berry patches just over the ridge, and explore among the foothills a bit before his nap-time, which always came just after the sun had walked past the middle of the sky. At that period of the day the sun’s warm rays seemed to cast a sleepy spell over the silent mountainside, so all of the animals, with one accord, had decided it should be the hour for their mid-day sleep.
Sleep deprivation causes all sorts of challenges and problems. When one doesn’t get enough sleep one’s mind doesn’t work clearly. Studies have shown that after staying awake for 24 hours one’s ability to do simple math is greatly impaired. Driving tired has been shown to be as bad as driving drunk. Moods change, depression, anxiety, and mania can be induced by lack of sleep. As much as people try to do without enough sleep it is a wonder more crazy things don’t happen in this world.

#5993- As the road opened up, thomo31 and I were still going slowly so as not to spook the horses. A quick find in between the next group. Thanks
Found with WaywardWoman while caching in the area. Signed log and returned as found. TFTC

Great day out with Curloo. Awesome trail of caches in a beautiful part of the world. Thanks for the hide.
Spent a couple of days on the road doing a pre-lockdown pandemic caching run through the central tablelands of NSW. With cold nights and beautiful days I headed for the TRLT (The Road Less Travelled) and the scattering of caches in the towns nearby.
The recent wet weather made the roads slippery at times and many of the caches had taken on some level of water... Thanks to all the CO's for your hides.

Day 2
It was time to return and try to finish off the remaining TRLT series with Rapidlywild. Probably not the best time to go with rain and snow forecast, but we have never let the weather stop us before. So packed all the winter woollies, thermals, gloves and beanies and off we went.
We nearly got all the elements over the weekend even in one day snow, rain, fog, sun and wind but there was also some pleasant weather thrown in there for good measure. Roads in some places were a little hair raising but the trusty 4WD got us through safe and sound.
With permission from some of the cache owners we replaced saturated logs and on a few occasions caches.
All in all a good and successful long weekend away, lovely looking countryside and views along the way.
Thanks for the hide and adding to the fun Code1 and thanks for another fun filled weekend away RWLD.

Last month, FFLL and I begun the tackle against the TRLT series and managed to get a huge chunk done. Well, we decided we wanted to get it finished so with snow on the forecast, we bit the bullet and packed the thermals and set off to have some fun. We had rain, fog, frost and even snow but it was an awesome weekend for sure We reached out to the cache owners of the ones we had to complete to inform them of our intentions and also advise that we were happy to complete replacement maintenance if required, so we came across a few that after extensive searches, we didnt locate, so we replaced as approved by the CO. A large number of replacement log sheets left along the way also to assist with the caches with soggy log books.
Lots of places visited across the weekend, including lots of old churches and old cemeteries across the land.
Thanks for the hide Code1 And thanks to the FFLL ladies for another fun weekend out and about the TRLT trails and others

We did some of the TRLT caches a while back and it was great to be back doing some more. Love the different styles of hides, some creative, some not and the quirky covers we discovered on some. The countryside is looking awesome and we enjoyed the rural locations and wonderful views. Thanks to Code1 for hiding this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Left Canberra on the 2nd January to escape the smoke and spend a few days caching with Joolay and KittyKatch. Logs signed as CC for Capital Crunchers and a great little round trip has taken us on part of the TRLT (The Roads Less Travelled) series. Great to spend some time in the back blocks especially as a lot of this country was home to some of my ancestors. Tftc
Decided to undertake a short excursion with barb2e and Kittykatch (signed as Capital Crunchers) to start working on the TRLT trail. We are glad to escape the horrible smoky conditions in ACT even if its still pretty smoky.

Another trip around TRLT series to do the latest few sections.
Some of the roads are VMLT (Very Much less travelled) and that's a good thing.
Mainly good safe hides and nice quick finds.
Lots of green pastures, healthy livestock and scenic views.
Thanks for the cache and the series Code1,

OCW frazerdaze and marj01. House sitting at White Rock for a week has provided an opportunity to do some geocaching runs around Bathurst - mainly TRLT series indispersed with a number of trads and puzzle caches. During the day we saw lovely scenery, lots of sheep and cattle, a few foxes and one deer in the forestry area. We even encountered fire persons doing a burn off which included two of the caches we were chasing. Please excuse the generic logs and thanks to all the CO's for placing the caches and adding to our enjoyment. For expediency all logs were signed OMF.
On a big weekend caching with oldmorty and Frazeydaze and logs have signed OMF.
Would like to thank all cache owners, for making and maintaining the caches.

Thank you so very very much for this awesome series that is showing us around with minimal bitumen. Absolutely loving it. Thank you for the cache.
It was time for a big weekend caching, so I was joined by Fitzy_1965 and MinnieK for two days to tackle the new TRLT caches just East of Bathurst, This part of the trip went smoothly. I also managed to squeeze in a few more on the day after whilst traveling between the rain on Monday.
Thanks.

Headed out for a weekend of caching with fitzy_1965 and Albida33 to collect all the new sections of TRLT series and a few caches in-between.
Made Trunkey Creek showground our base camp for two nights and cached our way around the area from there.
All caches were found quickly unless otherwise stated.

16,665. Found with minniek and albida33 on a fantastic run around the area over 2 days.
When we saw the new sections of TRLT Series published we made them a priority to do asap. Having cached around the region many times and knowing how beautiful it is we were really looking forward to it. Drove up last night and we camped at the Trunkey Creek Showground. Headed out first thing this morning for a big days caching. This was the next of many caches. Quick find once at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache and we headed off to the next one.
Thanks Code1 !! We appreciate your contribution to this great series !
TNLN - TFTC !! Apologies for the generic logs :-

I was checking out something as I looked for the cache when Toriaz suggested I look behind me. I asked her to do that child pantomime thing - "It's behind you!" - because I've always wanted to do that, but she was mean and just said, "The cache is behind you". Which wasn't half as much fun and just made me look like I couldn't find the cache. I shrugged at her and turned but I couldn't find the cache …
Just kidding...
...of course I could!

Today was Lyndhurst to Trunkey Creek for the TRLT trail. Road was a bit rough in places for a 2wd. Great area to explore. Thanks for all the new caches in the area.
This was day 2 of our wander along the road less travelled. We found another 36 (FTF) caches and started at the Trunkey Creek end of the route quite early in the morning. This part of the series is really good for adding numbers to the caching tally. The caches were not difficult to find and we were very pleased to be presented by a blank log upon opening the cache container. Many thanks to Code 1 for this contribution to the TRLT series.
