WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 55 - Fremantle Day. In the morning I jumped on my eScooter and did a handful of caches not too far from the caravan park. One new estate nearby with an amazing statue was a highlight and then down to the beach. After lunch I jumped in the car and did a few caches a bit further away including some very creative caches in reserves. The afternoon was in the car to get a bit closer to Fremantle city before I jumped back on the eScooter to do some Labs and some more caches. I visited an upstairs club for a drink overlooking the city before heading home to cook dinner.After doing some labs, I headed over to the harbour to try these two caches. In town and decided to head over. Fortunately no one was around and I managed to park close. I had some ideas and soon made the find. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC

It was super quiet here at the time of our visit.. just a lot of empty parks. If we'd needed some time for a long search this would have been the place to do it but we didn't, the crafty little hide was found quickly. Oh my... that's a wee log... TFTC Lachlan1.77.

Were in Western Australia for 2 week of wandering around! I had an early morning ferry to Rottnest so I did some reading of the logs last night. Heck yeah spotted on approach. First thing I put my hand on! This also counts for a May Challenge that Im doing In QLD to find caches best found at night. TFTC! From Brisbane #1505

Dopo mezz'ora di ricerca in ogni dove mi decido a leggere i logs precedenti vedendo i tanti dnf. Avrei potuto leggerli prima!!After half an hour of searching everywhere I decide to read the previous logs, seeing the many dnfs. I could have read them sooner!!

Had a good look for quite a while but came up empty handed.

Too good for us today. 15 minutes of searching and trying to think outside the box, but no luck.

TFTC! Had to come back a few hours later as there was a boat refueling on our first walk past. Very nice camo, second one of the day in freo, hoping we can get a few more in while we're here this week.

After the lunch with family and play at the park we did couple of tourist caches in Fremantle.Phone did not agree on the GZ. Walked past once Found it quickly. Thank you for placing the cache. Definitely good sneaky one!

On our long term trip from Germany to Western Australia / Tasmania / New Zealand for about 3,5 month, we made a day trip from Perth to Frementle by train. Unfortunately we had no luck on GZ. And because of some busy fishermans, we didnt searched longer. TFTC, we didnt find

We arrived here thinking the worst, but we were happy there didn't seem to be anyone about. We sat in the car and pondered for a bit and then Mr Parko started his search. Didn't take long and he found it. We were relieved to have found this one so quickly and with no muggles around. Thanks Lachlan1.77

Nicely disguised but fairly easy to find. The weekend is a good time to come down as it’s pretty quiet in the daytime.

G’day, I visited this cache on Saturday 27/5/2023 and conducted a proactive maintenance check.

The cache and logbook were in working order.

Another hard one.

Full time nomads since February 2014, here to visit family.

Full day cycling around the Freo CBD today. Rain held off although it did come across very dark. Only a couple of DNF's of tricky caches. Maybe we can revisit tomorrow.

Today was a day in Fremantle. After a yummy fish and chip lunch, we walked all over Fremantle finding caches and reading some interesting history about the place. Busy area here, was discreet as could be, we are well practised at it!! We took a bit of searching until we had the aahhh moment. TFTC

Found with The GeoSnake while holidaying from Brisbane and staying nearby. A quick look the first day showed way too many muggles around but a return trip at night gave more opportunity to poke about. Similar to other logs we were just about to call it a DNF when a last look revealed something different. Great hide.

Enjoying the last days of our big trip around Australia in sunny Fremantle. Left our bed & breakfast this morning without a real plan and went for a wander from one cache to another. We discovered the Esplanade Park, the Fishing Harbour, the Little Creatures Brewery, the WA Shipwrecks Museum, the Round House, and some really creative caches.
