Reperio 18:22Headed to Bathurst to enjoy half a day of caching in the area, and decided to try and clear out as many inner city caches that I could given today was quiet about the town. Drive past this park a lot (as we all do), but never really had the reason to stop and really look at it. Today when grabbing this one I did, and what an amazing open expansive area it is. Would love to come back here for a run around it. Gratias Apsley168As a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV

I was last here back in April but only grabbed a few. Good to be back to reclaim some DNFs and see some more of the micro-capital of the central west.
A pick park and grab.
Thanks Apsley168

We have travelled from Sydney’s Northern Beaches to Bathurst for a 9 day holiday, camping in our Jayco Swan Outback Camper Trailer at the Bathurst NRMA Big4 Caravan Park, and plan to collect some caches & Adventure Labs in the Bathurst and surrounding areas.

Today we went on a cache collecting loop drive up Sofala Road, then along Pymonts Lane, and returning to Bathurst via Limekilns Road & Marsden Lane. Took a slight detour, off Sofala Road, for an interesting visit to Peel Cemetery. Finished the day with a few finds around the Kelso area. This was the 30th of 30 finds for the day (day 4), and 80th find of the holiday.

This was our last cache for the day, stopping off after visiting the shops in the town centre, and was a nice quick find in the first place we looked. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. We then did as suggested and walked over to the signage for a good read all about "Leary", then back to the geomobile and return to camp. TFTC Apsley168.

Spent more time waiting for muggles to move on then searching for the cache

09-Jul-20
A tool came in handy to extract this one from it’s container. A few muggles around on this sunny afternoon, so stealth was required. Found with Ryan Girls

27-Jun-20
Found at 1:22 PM GAFF3.
I was looking for a micro as the description mentions, so after looking in a spot that was 7 metres away I found no micro. So I then went over to GZ and found no micro. I then went back to the 7 metre spot and after a more careful look I found a tiny nano Surprised
So many people walling around here - a very popular spot.
Thanks Apsley168.
Feedback: The description should say - look for a nano as the cache container is a nano Razz

Day 3
With the COVID19 restrictions lifting, we decided to head to the Bathurst area this long weekend on a Geomission with Rapidlywild. Our intention was to attack the TRLT trail and others around the area.
We had a great four days, only a few DNF’s but mostly smiley's, and have left plenty for another adventure. Lovely area to cache in and we look forward to coming back for some more fun and laughs.

Finished with the TRLT trail for the day as it was now dark and pretty cold so we decided to hit some town ones instead. No worries with this one.

Thanks for the hide Apsley168 and thanks Rapidlywild for another great weekend away.

08-Jun-20
With COVID19 locking everyone down for so long, a MUCH overdue geocaching mission was welcomed. FurfacesLL #1 and myself decided to head towards Bathurst and attack some of the TRLT caches and see how far we can go. Spoke to a few of the CO's prior to heading up to see if we could assist with any maintenance that was required, so we went prepared with some camo containers and some fresh log books. We had a wonderful weekend stretching the legs and enjoying the country side.

We decided to grab a few town caches before heading back to our accommodation. No issues here, signed and replaced.

Thanks for the hide Apsley168 Big Grin And thanks to the FFLL ladies for another fun weekend out and about the TRLT trails and others Big Grin

Winter 2020 trip to Bathurst. Day 1. I joined forces with Fitzy_1965 and MinnieK for another visit to Bathurst and the surrounding area to visit new caches and try to find caches we have all managed to not find on previous visits. It was an overwhelmingly successful trip where we all managed to find some nemesis caches that stretch back several years and many trips to the region. Despite the cold we camped each night and had a most enjoyable weekend now we are allowed out to roam a bit further.

Thanks for the cache Apsley168

Found during a road trip from Brisbane to Adelaide with five days travelling and four overnight stops, via Ballina, Armidale, Tamworth (staying overnight), Bylong, Sofala, Bathurst (staying overnight), Cowra, Young, Cootamundra, Junee, Wodonga (staying overnight), Echuca (staying overnight), Kerang, Ouyen, Pinnaroo and on to Adelaide. With limited time for stops along the way , we targeted one or two caches in each of the LGA's we traversed, and a few extras at the overnight stops to boost the tally. Beautiful part of the day. No muggles around and hardly any traffic. This was a quick and easy find, However I did have an onlooker that was very interested in what I was doing. I was a little worried I would be swooped upon, then I noticed a worm in her beak. tftc I enjoyed this one.

23-Sep-19
Ups was bout 10m off but guessed where it was... no healthy muggles this morning just a lot of cars passing. TFTC

Flew in this afternoon from Melbourne (via Sydney) for some work tomorrow up in Oberon and intentionally came with enough time to do a little cache hunting (it helps if you have a hire car). My fourth cache stop on my way in from the Airport was this cache. A nice quick find and none of the troubles I with my previous find.

Thanks **Apsley168** for putting this cache here.
